There at the gymnasium, where a lot of students has gathered and sat, where there was an event happening.

"just how did this happen leo?" theo said to him, as he and the other student council members were also there

"cant blame me, all this just happened anyways." leo said, with an i dont know gesture

"whats happen has already happened, so just do your best out there." leticia said

"yes, i will." leo said, assuring everyone

There at the front seat, where lica, rena, sheryl, and nikki were sitting beside each other.

"will leo be alright on his own?" rena said, worried

"if its leo, everything will be alright. I think." lica said

"i hope you are right miss lica, because the opponet might be a bit tough.. Because that gay is one of the essay clubs ace reciter and writer." nikki said

"so, just how did all this happen anyways?" lica said

"according to my network, he, sheryl, and the gay from yesterday was called at the student council room, where the principal was also there. Thats all i know." nikki said, now turning to sheryl, which was beside her. "so? What happened?"

"both the principal and the president were asking on how all that happened, where they first get leos side of the story before the gay, as i was too nervous to speak out." sheryl said

"and then?" rena said

"the short version is, that leo questioned the idealism of gays. Then the gay defended his right to being gay, and then the principal said to just let this go through a proper debate session." sheryl said

"really? Thats what happened.." nikki said

"i know thats not all, right?" lica said

"yes.. If leo wins, the gay will renounce himself as a gay." sheryl said

"so if he loses?" rena said

"he will fail all subjects, to repeat the year." sheryl said

"what?!" the 3 of them said

"and now, ladies and gentlemen, i now present to you the stars of the day! They will be colliding with each other! And with their pride on the line! Im your MC, VJ Trace! And at the left side, is the rising star, leonardo rah rivera!" vj said before everyone applaudes. "then at the right side, we have jay low! Also known as jaymee!" vj said before everyone applaudes again.

"in this debate, the topic will be: gayhood! If its really worth it or not. And so, lets start with a coin toss to determine who will go first! Just--" vj said, before he was cut off

"im fine with jay senpai being the first to go." leo said, casually

"whats this?! Mr leo is fine with it?" vj said, as leo nods in agreement. "well then, lets start!" he said, giving the signal to start and walking away to sit at the side

"good morning my fellow students and my fellow gays! Though i think its now almost noon already." jay said, as the audience slightly laughed. "anyways, gayhood, is by definition, being trapped in the opposite sex. In which the soul is of a woman or girl, and cant get out, unless we change ourselves to what our souls really are!" jay said, as his fellow gays applauded

"the question now is: what is a soul in the first place? Is it also the same as the spirit? Please do define what a soul really is." leo said

"a soul, is a soul. There is nothing to define, aside that its what makes us, us." jay said, with a matter of a fact geture

"hahh.." leo sighs. "I think the issue is much deeper than what you initially think. Let me explain.. A soul, i think in spiritual terms, is a field of energy surrounding in and out of any person. If we would put it in other words, such energies are they would call, aether. And just like what the scriptures say: god is within and around us, at the same time. Thus, the matter of such energies called aether."

"and what does this aether have to do with being gay?" jay said, confused

"being gay is a choice, no matter how one puts it. Whether or not if ones soul is of a male of female." leo said, straight to the point

"what? Of all the things you would say, you actually agree with gayhood?" jay said, curious and intrigued

"personally, no. I dont agree with gayhood. Because 1, no one can fully edit any persons biological sex, not even science. unless if its from birth or something, or you will transfer yourself to a female body. 2, whether or not you will take drugs or do surgery to change yourself to a female, the fact will remain that you were a male, even with genetics. And 3, as per the scriptures, god only made 2 sexes, the rest are just either a mutation, or a decision." leo said with confidence

"i wont let the last part slide, in what universe did you ever hear of such? Like i said, gays are womens souls trapped in a mans body!" jay said, frustrated

"were you confused with my answer? If so, then you might have a bad case of cognitive dissonance." leo said, casually pointing him out

"whats that? All i said was that we are--" jay said before being interrupted

"yes, i know. But lets think about this.. I have a saying: that the answers in life are simple, its just the processes and equations thats complex, specially with us humans. Do you understand that?" leo said, as jay was still processing everything

"what do you really mean?" jay said, a bit confused

"in short, only you are making things more complicated, when the answers in life are already made simple to begin with." leo said, stating a matter of a fact

"just why am i making things more complicated? When what i say is just a matter of fact!" jay said

"hahh.. Thats the problem. You believe its a fact, when you yourself dont have any evidence to prove such claims." leo said, seriously

"no, its not a belief! Because its what has been taught to me." jay said with confidence

"if its not taught, then its a lie? How would you really determine a lie?" leo said, curious

"ugh.." jay couldnt even answer

"oh? You couldnt even answer such a simple question?" leo said, teasingly confident

"how would you even answer that then?" jay said

"the question is maybe simple, but its a complicated question to answer. So in my personal opinion, the truth is dynamic, yet its also static." leo said

"huh?! Lay it all out simply." jay said

"the truth isnt just something we know, its something we all seek. As the truth is a process, thus its not that simple to obtain or get in the first place. And everything would also depend on how you will interpret the truth, whether to your favor or not." leo said, as jay couldnt find the right words now to counter

"so in the end, just what is gayhood?" vj said, as he now stands up

"simple.. Gayhood is a choice, like all other choices, that all people would go in life. And i choose to be a man, and no gay shall ever hinder me." leo said with confidence

"so, just what else can you really say jaymee?" vj said, now pointing towards jay

"all this wasnt part of what i really wrote." jay said, frustrated, as he trashes his own paper, and left to the back stage

"i guess we now have a winner! In which his answer is: that gayhood is a choice, depending if you should take it or not!" vj said, with a big smile

"thats right mr vj!" leo said, raising his clenched hand as a victory pose. "In this time, i see that there are now quite a lot of gays roaming around, i hope this debate will also enlighten them a bit. As i see that this debate has been broadcasted social media." leo said

"oh? Comments regarding your victory i suppose." vj said, as leo agrees. "well then, this program is finished! Thats all folks!" vj also said

There at the back stage..

"you were cool out there leo!" Lica said, as she also hugs him

All 4 girls, and the student council, including someone from the news club, were now surrounding leo that time. Where the news club girl also has a camera drone with her.

"no fair! I want to hug him too!" nikki said, before she also joins

The shy leo was only able to blush, as he feels soft feelings both left and right.

"ahem! Girls, show some restraint! We also got some media here." rena said, as she was also eager to hug him

"ok.." the girls said, as they then happily distance themselves from leo

After that, leo then walks towards sheryl, where she was really nervous now.

"i won, sheryl." leo said, as he headpats her

"just as you promised!" sheryl said with a big smile

Lica was also pouting then, while rena and nikki was happy for sheryl, when he did that.

"hey.. I think you are putting us on airs mr leo.." the news club girl said

"and you are?" leo said, after pulling his hand from sheryl

"pardon the late intro. Im val lita morgan, a representative of the news club. You can call me val by the way. You dont need to name yourself though, as we already know you." val said, before they shook hands. "getting straight to the point, just why did you accept this debate in the first place?" val said without reserve

"if you will give me your number, i might consider it." leo said, as he jokingly flirt with her, as he touches her cheek as well

She was taken aback at his words, making her blush and waver, until she was signaled by the intense gaze of lica being jealous.

"haha.. Thanks but no thanks." val said, still blushing, as she slowly brushed him off. "getting back to the question please." val said, now reaching the recorder to leo, still blushingly awkward

"ok then. First of all, i agreed only to teach him a lesson about life. Then there is also the reason of being on the right side of things, which is why i agreed." leo said seriously, as vals blushing was gone now

"i see. That was a good debate there, how do you feel now?" val said

"i feel great! Doing the right thing, feels good indeed." leo said with a smile

"are you doing all this for miss sheryl? If i may ask.." val said

"nope, this is just out of my pure ego. But more than that, i couldnt just let them do as they please, as they do the wrong thing with her." leo said
