Chapter 7

There at the rivera residence, leo was currently relaxing in his room, after a long weekday.

"whew, what a week." leo said, as he remembers all of what has happened.

"hey leo! Would you mind buying some groceries for me?" flower, the mother, was calling leo from the bottom of the stairs, after a few minutes he said it

"yes mom, im coming." leo said, as he stretches a bit, before standing up to get ready

There at the nearest shopping mall, leo just arrived, and passed through the doors, when he found nikki at the nearest mens clothes store. And when she was to return the shirt back, she spotted leo at the distance, and waved. She was in her casual attire, for a gal with fashion, and he was also in regular clothes and jeans.

"its a coincidence that we saw each other here leo." nikki said, as she browses around the line of mens shirts

"yeah, what are you doing here nikki?" leo said, just standing at the side

"im searching for a gift for my dad right now." nikki said, before she had some inspiration. "oh yeah! How about helping me with picking something leo?" she said smiling

"but im also currently--" leo was saying until she did some puppy dog begging cute face. "hahh.. Fine." he just gave up and smiled

"yey!" she rejoiced a bit. "its a date then!" she said, before she linked her arm with his

"uhh.. They are touching." leo said, being a bit shy and all, as he feels the big lumps of a mans dreams

"so what? Lica always do this with you right?" nikki said, pouting

"yeah, i always ask her about it, and says shes just fine with it all." leo said

"then im fine with it too." nikki said

"ok then." leo said, as he also gave up and go with the flow. "lets go."

With that, they go around, and looking for a present for her father. And after that, they went shopping, and to enjoy on an actual date together.

"this day was fun, and my legs are very tired." nikki said, as they now sat at the bench, along the garden at the top of the mall

"yeah, fun.." he said, as he looks at the few bags with things that she bought

"now im thristy.." nikki said, as she was truly thirsty

"yeah. With the hot weather today, i guess its no wonder." leo said, agreeing with her. "i will get some water for us, please stay here for a while." he said as he knows a place to buy some, and stood up

"ok. Dont make me wait too long." nikki said, as she waves at him

Then after a few minutes..

"hey, check that babe out." guy 1 said, as he points towards nikki

"yeah, you are right! Shes a total babe!" guy 2 said, agreeing with him

"lets go ask her out!" guy 1 said, and guy 2 agrees, before they both went to her

"hey girl, you free?" guy 2 said to nikki, who was still sitting on the bench

"no, im not. Please go away." nikki said said, seriously

"oh, dont be like that. How old are you? If you are free, you can come with us on a date." guy 1 said

"i said no!" nikki said, now annoyed

"come on, join us." guy 1 said, before both guys tries to reach out to nikki

But when both of them tried to reach out to grab her, they were suddenly kicked sideways, with much force.

"thaat hurts! Who did that?!" guy 1 said, as both of them struggles to stand

"i just brought water for us nikki, kindly hold." leo said, as she was a bit star struck, and held to both bottles

"so what?! You want a go with us?!" guy 2 shouted to leo, as they try to intimidate him

"i could ask the same thing." leo said, before he intimidates them as well

"hey you guys! Stop that!" the officer shouted at the distance

"yikes! Better run for it!" guy 1 said, as they spotted the officer, and before they ran.

"you two alright?" the officer said, worried about them

"yes, but shame that i cant really pummel both of them." leo said, a bit annoyed

"you got a few screws loose son." the officer said, where nikki almost laughed. "but glad you two are alright."

Then after explaining the story to the officer and management, they continued their date. And this time..

"uhh.. Nikki.. Why are we here?" leo said after they arrived

They were now at the ladies underwear section, where nikki dragged him there, a bit red and all.

"i want to buy some spares, just in case." nikki said with a smile, as they now go inside the store

"in case of what?" leo said, as she was browsing through the line of underwear

"its a secret." nikki said, teasingly with a wink

"ok." leo said, as he knows what she means.

*ring*

"oh, its probably my mom. Let me take the call." leo said and she agreed

As he took the call outside the store, to explain what happened, nikki went on to choose from every design at the store.

"im done." leo said as he returns, before he saw the pouting nikki, handling a basket filled with underwear.

"you took long." nikki said

"its just my mom, she just wants to add some eggs to her order." leo said

"oh yeah, what did you come here for?" nikki said

"just some grocery shopping, nothing much." leo said

"i see." nikki said as she thought to herself, on how wonderful he is. "anyways, can you wait outside the changing room? I want to try these on." she said with a smile

"ok, got it." leo said, before they go to the changing room

There, leo waits for some minutes before nikki was done.

"hey leo, how do i look?" nikki said, before showing him

"whoa!" leo said, before he covered a bit. "are you really sure of me?"

"i wouldnt have done all this, if it wasnt. Now how do i look?" nikki said, pouting again

"yeah, you look good." leo said, giving up again to the flow

"alright!” nikki rejoiced. “let me try on some few more.” she said, smiling

With that, leo just sighed a bit, as he was also enjoying the day. After that, they went to dinner, and went out of the mall. But as they were enjoying chatting while walking, and it was not almost night time, little do they know what comes next.

“hold it!” a person suddenly appears in front of them.

After that quick reminder, leo suddenly surveys his surroundings, only to be surrounded by hoodlums with hand weapons, as they were now on their way back to their homes.

“why should we wait for you?” leo said, as he guards nikki at his back, and giving all the baggage to her

“just a quick question. Are you the one who kicked my members?” leader guy said

“i didn’t kick anyone, for your info.” leo said

“but my members would surely remember.” leader guy said, before facing guy 1

“its him boss, hes the one who kicked us at the garden at the top of the mall.” guy 1 said, pointing at leo

“yeah! Hes the one alright!” guy 2 said

“so, what do you have to say for yourself?” leader guy said, before the other guys starts walking towards them

“stick close to me alright, nikki.”leo said, as she understood

“get him.” leader guy said, before the other guys now starts to attack him

With that, leo starts his defensive stance against a mob of hoodlums. Where his first priority was to get 2 sticks from them, and turn it against them. As he does a dual blade defensive stance against them.

“nikki, police, now!” leo said, before they started attacking again

There, nikki searched for her phone in her bag, so that she can call the police. At the same time, he wiped the floor against the mob of hoodlums trying to attack him. Then after some time, he really wiped the floor against them, and only a few is left.

“why wont you go down?!” guy 1 said, as hes also tired from trying to attack leo

“looks like its my turn. No one must interfere.” the leader guy said, before walking towards leo

“yes boss!” the rest of them said

“tch! Are you alright there nikki?” leo said, as nikki confirms in fear and anxiety. “hold on for a while, I will finish this soon.”

“just how will you really win?” leader guy said, before attacking leo head on, with a baseball bat

While leo has a crowbar on his left, and a plumbing tube on his right, he would have a slight advantage. Though the leader guy is also very strong, and skillful, which made leo take time finishing him off without killing him. then with the last blow to the head of the leader, leo finally won against the leader. But unknowingly..

“leo! Look out!” nikki shouts, for the incoming attack to the back

But before the blow was dealt, brian then appears, punching the other hoodlum out cold.

“geez.. even the great leonardo has his weak times.” brian said, as he now stood beside leo

“yeah.. a mob was a bit much than expected.” leo said, as they both now are side by side. “lets talk later.”

“agreed.” brian said before they both fought the remaining hoodlums
