Diamonds: Part 4

The blade of the wind returns and destroys Ea's statue instead.

EXT. EALAO - DAY
The wind is blowing intensely. Tayo, Hiro and Henry are standing looking at Daro who is a couple of meters away.
As soon as he turns to face them, Hiro begins to load an arrow and then she realizes that Daro has vanished, and then she sees him coming at her from her side. At the same time she notices that the leaves in the wind are now moving slowly.
She understands, she can now see how fast he is but her body still can't react.

Daro is about to punch her when Tayo deflects his punch and goes into hand to hand combat with him.
Daro grabs Tayo's neck and slams him into a tree and then slams him into the ground. Then an arrow flies towards him (Daro) from Hiro and he dodges it. Drawing his sword at the same instant, he parries Henry's spear attack.

Henry fights Daro, moving him away from Tayo while Hiro comes to get Tayo up.

TAYO
Thanks.

Then they chase Daro and Henry downhill. Both combatants are almost out of sight.
Suddenly, Henry's spear comes flying at Tayo which he manages to block with his sword and a stone follows it immediately, luckily Hiro is able to parry it with her bow expertly.
Tayo runs in the direction of the attack with his sword and the spear, using them to parry and cut the rocks Daro throws at him.

Tayo throws the spear. Daro catches it effortlessly but then Tayo comes in and grabs Daro, who was too late in getting out of the way. This sends them both tumbling downhill even more.
At the bottom Henry is waiting and he retrieves his spear. Then both of them battle Daro.
Hiro runs downhill, then she stops. She holds her bow steadily and closes her eyes and begins to visualize an arrow.

At the bottom of the hill Daro moves at super speed to beat Tayo and Henry.

DARO
Get up, if not I'll take seriously the option of killing you and joining Gotar. He seems to be in need of skilled warriors.

Henry tries to get a blow in but he is punched down. That's when an arrow rockets at Daro. He catches it. Then the arrow explodes. It was a materialized arrow of fire.
When the smoke clears we see electricity sparking around a dazed Daro.

Tayo lunges once again at Daro and gets shocked. Daro pushes him away but Tayo refuses to let go. He is able to tolerate the electric shock now. He grabs Daro's lightning sword. 
Daro realizes what Tayo's intention is. It's to separate him from his magic sword making him incapable of casting spells. He lists his hand to knock Tayo out but instead gets hit by Henry who delivered a heated punch to the back of his head.

He turns around to face Henry and gets knocked out with a heated upper cut.

HENRY
We did it.

EXT. FOREST, EALAO - LATER
Daro opens his eyes. Tayo, Hiro and Henry are looking at him. Henry is relieved he isn't dead.

DARO
(to Hiro)
When did you learn that?
HIRO
(jokingly)
Learn? I'm a natural. I was just hiding my talents from you.
DARO
Well done, all of you.

Tayo helps Daro up.

TAYO
So, what now?
DARO
You can have the sword. I have something for you guys too.

EXT. DARO'S QUARTERS, EALAO - DAY
Hiro, Tayo and Henry are seated in a semicircle. Daro walks up to them. He has several items in his hands.

DARO
(to Henry)
For your love of adventure, I gift to you this map. May it show you the way and guide you to treasures beyond your wildest dreams.
HENRY
Thanks.
DARO
(to Hiro)
My judgement of you was wrong and so, I gift this to you.

He offers her a vial containing a green potion and she receives it.

HIRO
Thank you Daro.

Daro moves to Tayo.

DARO
And Ray, I called you a coward. I apologize.
TAYO
I'm sorry for calling you mindless.
DARO
Before I hand it over, I want you to promise me that no matter what happens you'll keep moving forward, no matter how dark the days may get, no matter how hopeless it may be, promise me you'll keep moving forward.

Tayo looks away and takes a deep breath before responding. He doesn't take promises lightly.

TAYO
I will.

Daro then hands over the Professor's Sword.

DARO
I haven't figured out its mysteries yet but maybe you might.

Tayo receives it and looks at the markings on it and begins reading it.

TAYO
The ruler... of the stars charged with--

Daro places his hand on Tayo's mouth shutting him up.

DARO
You can read it?

Tayo nods. Hiro comes closer to take a look. Daro takes his hand off Tayo's mouth.

HIRO
I can't. Henry!

Henry comes over to take a look.

HENRY
I can't either.
DARO
It doesn't matter
(to Tayo)
Be careful what you read, without understanding, a spell can backfire.

Tayo studies the inscriptions.

TAYO
These were the scripts used in the early-- in the ancient world.
DARO
It's probably an incantation. Let's try something.

Tayo keeps studying the inscriptions.

EXT. GARDEN, EALAO - DAY
The garden is overgrown but still beautiful. Hiro and Henry are seated looking at Tayo and Daro. Tayo is seated meditatively with the sword on his lap.

DARO
Calm your mind and reach deep into your heart.

Looking at the flowers, Tayo remembers,

FLASHBACK - THE QUADRIS' HOME, REAL WORLD - DAY
his mother's garden. It's summer and the flowers are in full bloom.
BACK TO PRESENT

Tayo closes his eyes.

DARO
Feel.

Tayo smiles.

DARO
Recall the moments you were gushing with emotion.

Tayo remembers.

FLASHBACK - THE QUADRIS' HOME, REAL WORLD - DAY
Tayo is with his mother and sister in front of their house. They are beside a brand new car.

TAYO
This is for you mom.

He hands over the key to his mom. His mom's eyes well up with tears, his sister embraces him and his mom does the same as well.

REBECCA
Thank you my son.

BACK TO PRESENT

There is a smile and a tear on Tayo's face.

DARO
Now free you imagination.

Instantly, the inscription on the sword begins to GLOW making the scripts even more visible. The entire sword itself begins to shine.
Particles of Light begin to materialize around Tayo. Henry stops playing with the fire on his spear and pays attention.

HENRY
What's going on?
DARO
(shocked)
It's the magic that commands the light.
