Vader Corps Tryouts Part 1

Inside the training room going a hundred yards long also going up. Pulse barriers surround the edge. “Me and Juzu will test your powers here. I’ll go up against Pai and Kel, Juzu will face Sola and Apollo.”

“What about me,” says Taro.

“I already know ghost trigger has the potential to kill those Warlocks and Enchanters, because Z killed one himself, and if he believes in you so much, I’ll trust his belief,” stated Vanula.

“Dad, why didn’t you ever tell us?” says Pai.

“I didn’t say anything because I’m honestly not sure myself.”

“Taro, you have already joined the Vader corps. On the other hand, for the rest of you, prove to me you got what it takes.”

“I really have no idea about these warlocks and enchanters; everything is moving so quickly that if they keep sending enemies, we have no choice but to join the corps,” says Kel.

“That’s exactly right, some people in this room hold a tiny piece of Nova inside them. Vanula, Sola, and Pai. You all are a threat to everyone and could have the ability to obtain Nova with minor repercussions,” claimed Juzu.

“Anyone opposed to joining can leave if you want.”

“I just wanna find my brother's killer, so how could this help me? I don’t care about Nova, however I have a feeling if I stick around, maybe I’ll come across them for sure. I know because they're searching for the same thing. Like everyone else, I wanna kill all their hopes.”

“Alright, since you’ll be on board, shall we start the training?"

“Let me go first, Vanula.”

“Go ahead, I'll game some more, take your time, Juzu.” I don’t think me and Sola have actually had a full conversation together. How is this gonna work?

“I don’t think I actually introduced myself. I'm Sola. Let's work together on this, Apollo.”

Oh, alright, that was easier than I thought. “Yeah let’s go for it.”

“Yo, you guys ready, because I’m getting anxious here,” grunted Juzu.

Apollo cuts his wrist, pouring blood spawns portals from under. Many arrows rain out. Sola snaps her fingers, two little star spirits appear around her alone. Sola hops on floating off. “I think we’re ready,” grinned Sola.

Juzu’s hands freeze up, snowflakes fall under him, fog shoots for Apollo and Sola. A blitz of bloody arrows rain inside the fog, however Juzu manages to slip past them. He closes the distance between him and Apollo.

Juzu prepares an undercut, his hand shining essence with fog fading. Juzu strikes the uppercut, but Sola handles it, blocking with three stars. All the stars are frozen and shattered, although it’s parry. “I went after the wrong person first, let me correct myself. This is gonna hurt.”

Sola tries to jump back but her feet are already frozen stuck, Apollo’s as well. Juzu strikes Sola right in the stomach, flying into the wall. Apollo pours more arrows in, Juzu’s fog races out his fingers, thrusting the arrows off course along with Apollo.

“I don’t think you guys were ready,” he says, unconcealing himself before Apollo. Fuck, this fog is cloaking him perfectly.

Juzu lands an uppercut to Apollo’s chin.

Blood and fog flows out Apollo’s mouth. Sola rushes behind Juzu, throwing a kick. Juzu ducks under jumping on both hands, launching both his feet at Sola, pushing her back.

Rushing right back to Juzu, but at the last second, she ducks under an arrow from behind following her. Catching the arrow with both hands, right between those ocean eyes. The arrow pushes him back. “Whoa, this stings a little. I'll give you twenty-six points for that one.”

Sola falls to him, stars forming around getting closer. “Star style explosion,” says Sola. Juzu smiles before the impact hits him directly. Juzu spiks across the ground. “Now that was a hit, no way he didn’t feel that.”

“Don’t get ahead of yourself, he’s one of my high guards. Juzu isn’t going down easily.”

“High guard, how many high guards do you have?” says Kel.

“Just six, on the other hand don’t let that number confuse you,” chimed in Vanula.

Juzu picks himself off the ground, shirt ripped in pieces. Now that was an attack, but for a Seeker that was weak. Snowflakes appear around his face. “Let’s pick it back up, Sola and Apollo!”

Arrows and stars appear by the kids. All rushing each other, the arrows and stars follow behind. Apollo jumps aboard one launching himself with the air, while Sola rides her star. Sola’s little spirit darts out the palm.“Step forward, guardians!”

Forming into a large, armored guardian with a star as its helmet. Two little golden eyes appear from inside the star hero. Mighty essence pours from its lance. Launching it to Juzu Ice surrounds him, blocking completely.

Along with stars and arrows coming at him, the guardian crashes through the Ice. Combining both fists, clashing on the ground before Juzu. Lifting the floor, Juzu is launched up.

Summoning another lance, throwing for Juzu, yet he shoots fog out the fist. Freezing it whole, catching the lance. Spinning, Juzu redirects the lance back for the guardian, cracking through its arm.

Blasting it all away, Juzu falls down, throwing a straight jab, and the guardian blocks it with its leg. Juzu throws three punches, every strike connects, and the impact leaves frozen marks around its body. Juzu throws a kick, however the guardian hits it away with its head.

“Now, your whole head is gonna freeze.”

“That's what you think,” Sola said with a note of relief. The star guardian's helmet glows, burning the ice away completely. Afterwards, a star shaped beam shoots from its head.

“These kids just keep pulling tricks,” laughs Juzu. Ice freezes the guardian completely, as fog lifts it. Falling upon Sola and Apollo, Sola rips the ice apart with her stars. Still, the ice turns into fog again.

Wrapping over Sola’s hips. Slinging her across the training room, Juzu freezes her to the wall. Apollo shoots three burly arrows crashing before Juzu. Blasting fog to Apollo, summoning a massive arrow wiping the fog out.

Apollo surfs the arrow. Juzu bangs both fists together, and snowflakes rain all around him. “Snowflake dance!” says Juzu.

Many snowflakes drop onto the arrow freezing it, and the speed depletes at the same time cracking all at once. Apollo breaks through the arrow destroying it.

“Saint blood darts!” Two white draggers seep from the palm’s blood. Apollo throws one dragger, Juzu dodges, the dragger sparks white essence together surrounding the edges. Launching back for Apollo, forming into one long arrow.

"As long as these draggers are connected, it’s fair game.” Apollo spins the arrow around his body, Juzu feet step backward, Apollo thrusts it forward barely missing Juzu. A blue beam shoots past him breaking the wall in.

Okay, it's like this.” Arrows appear out of the ground, afterwards surrounding Apollo and Juzu.

“How long were you hiding these here?"

“Don't worry about it, just make sure they hit you. Bird dust cage!” yells Apollo. Rapidly fleeing for them all, Juzu launches to Apollo.

I’m gonna take some damage, so at least allow me to return my attack first. “Snowflake dance!” Furying flakes point-blank at Apollo, still the arrows hit Juzu at the same time. Apollo goes flying out, the arrows avoid hitting him, Juzu disappears in a blue flash.

Blue explosions erupt, Sola covers herself with the star barrier. The viewing window shakes, cracking some.

“Holy shit, where was that attack earlier.” Stammered Pai.

“He took that head-on.”

Vanula smirks. “He's over there.” Juzu manages to cover himself in a layer of ice. Blocks of ice fall off. Burnt markings warp his body, however he seems unharmed. Not gonna lie, that was a good attack, most people would die from that.

Apollo is knocked down, Juzu’s ice sticks Sola to the wall. “Did you give up, are you even fit for Nova? Guess all Seekers aren’t made for the beating of this journey. Don’t worry Princess, we’ll take over for you? If you can’t move anymore.”

“I can't let my people die in vain, so what do you think I'll do?"

“Sola,” Pai hesitated quietly. Snapping her fingers, a star speeds towards Sola going inside her chest, ripping a hole through her.

“Sola! what are you doing?” Another star rips off her right leg. The last star smacks her jaw off “Loook,” agonized Sola. Everyone goes cold looking through Sola. The two seekers lock onto each other.

Afterward, stars ignite around her wounds healing her completely together again. “I can’t die, the pain never changes, after all this time it’s still the same. I’m immortal, getting Nova is a perfect fit for me. This gift from my people paved the path for me and I’m following it!"

Gold aura swarms her, a golden crown merges on top of Sola’s head Her two-star guardians form again standing by her.

“Beautiful,” says Kel.

Juzu yawns. “Alright, you both pass. Welcome to Vader Corps.”

“What wait?”

“Isn't this all for your people? You're going after the ones who took them away. They all entrusted that power to you, kid, because they all loved you. Don’t let them down or yourself, Princess,” Juzu bows.

Sola smiles blushing. “No reason for that. Raise, Juzu.” Apollo smacks Sola’s shoulder. “Where's my bow? Did I pass too?”

Juzu laughs. “Yeah, you both passed a long time ago when you all fought Bombast, however don’t tell everyone else.”

Pieces of metal drop to the damage. “This is just to give you extra motivation. Let’s head up to watch the last match. It should be interesting to see two Seekers battling out. I haven’t seen this in a long time.”

“Come on, Pai and Kel, it's your turn. Now I hope you both bring everything you got,” says Vanula.

“Yeah, let’s see how good your Seeker is, maybe I’ll learn something from this,” smiles Pai.
