Fragile links, frozen fractals, splintered
at its core.
I have to be careful.
People—they’re so easy to break
like glass. I could
hear it cracking, crushing,
shattering beneath my feet. It’s so easy
to ruin.
One wrong step, one wrong
look—a mistake
is all it takes, and then,
it all comes
crumbling
down.
I just wanted to be friends. I just
wanted someone to talk to—someone who’d
listen, care,
hear what I had to share. I just wanted
you,
and now,
I have nothing left of you
except shards
and fragments of what could’ve been
us.
