#105 Returned Romance

After my last breakup, my cooky aunt predicted that my soulmate would ‘return the romance lost’. I did not believe her. Until today.

I was reading the latest Ali Hazelwood novel when a stranger on the metro said: “Oh, I love those! Have you read The Love Hypothesis?”

She was cute and we chatted for a while. Eventually, it was time to go. I waved goodbye but she stopped me. “Wait! You lost your book!”

I recalled the message from my aunt. “You know what, keep it.” I took a pen and scribbled my number on the title page.
