“I need a highly qualified sorcerer.” Lady Firenze is a well-known knight who bears the scars of many battles. Now, she is gathering a party to slay the red dragon. “Do you have what it takes?”

“Yes, m’lady,” Quetzal says, “I am proficient in natural magic but my talent is the art of disguise.”

“Brilliant, we’ll need someone to stake out the beast’s layer. We don’t want any surprises. I’ll get you a copy of the contract.”

She turns her back on Quetzal. They shove their dragon tail down the back of their pants. There will be a surprise alright…
