Third time.

"Oh it's you..." I felt a bit embarrassed that I got scared again.

"What? You are mad that I came here?" He looked irritated.

"Did I sound like that?" And uncontrollable grin came to my face. I was happy he came. "You can stay." I looked at his eyes, but he seemed to look out in the sky, blushing. "Is something wrong?"

"Umm... sorry for scaring you earlier."

I couldn't help but laugh out loud. Even though it's no big of a deal, he sure is making like it is one.

"What? Why are you laughing?" His embarrassing face is kinda cute.

"Nothing..." as I tried to stop my laughter, I saw his right hand was occupied with a book. "Oh you bought that?"

"Yeah. And it's good. I never knew I would enjoy reading text."

"Well, you usually 'read' texts." The book on his hand looked too palpable. The feeling of holding a new book in my hand gives me a sense of pleasure and false achievement. But I still enjoy it. "Hey, can I hold your book for a sec?"

He looked at the book that he was holding. "Sure, here you go."

"This brings back memories..." As I opened and flipped through the pages, he sat beside me trying to understand what I was doing. What I would be doing now might creep him out a little bit, but I couldn't control myself.

"W-what are you doing!?!" He looked embarrassed, but I couldn't help but grin.

"Sorry sorry. I didn't mean to do it to your book, but seeing it's a new book, I couldn't help it."

"Do all professional readers smell their books?"

"Now I wonder, do they do this, or am I just a creep?" I wondered as I resumed turning the pages and recalling the memories reading this story. "Oh I forgot to ask, did you like the book?"

"Y-yeah... very much."

"So how far are you into this book?"

"Umm..." he scratched his neck awkwardly. "I finished it."

"Ehh?!? In half a day?!" I was surprised at his super fast reading ability. That was seriously quick. "How did you do this? Even I am sure I can't pull such a stunt."

"I mean it was so good I couldn't sleep..." so he meant he didn't sleep all night and just continued to read the book? If that's the case then-

"Ouch! Why did you hit me?" He looked at me like I am the one who did something crazy. And I didn't hit him, I just 'tapped' his head with the book.

"You deserved it. Listen here-" I turned to him face to face trying to make his learn. "You should never do stuffs like that. Now matter what. Adequate sleep is necessary for an athlete like you. You have to reschedule your day to get time for reading, or stop reading entirely. Sleep is very important. I wondered why you had bags under your eyes. Now I understand."

"Yes.. 'mom'..." he murmured looking away like a child.

"What... did you say?" I hope I am giving off enough aura to scare him. "Say that again-"
