Part 2: Next Step

In the hideout, Liam and Jason had already been telling the story of the events earlier while Jessica tended to Grant's wounds. As she tended to the bruises, she was amazed by how Grant was able to withstand so much damage, even more blunt weapons.

Curious, Jessica asked "Hey Grant." And immediately Grant looked in her way, "Can I ask about dad? I want to know how he's been..."

Grant could tell that Jessica missed their father and even though he was shocked to learn about his sister in the first place, he could only remember a young girl that played alongside him when they were children.

Grant answered "Dads... honestly been through worse... But just seeing his face everyday growing up... I could tell there was something missing in his life..." Grant took a long pause as he reminisced growing up from a young kid, to a teenager to an adult throughout those years, he still saw the same expression on his fathers face. He continues "And it might mean the world to him that you saw him... Who knows... I always had that feeling that pops preferred you over me..."

Jessica began laughing and lightly hit Grant on the forehead with her hand, as she said "Stop it!" And then followed by Grant as he too began to laugh, showing how the two were getting to know each other more, despite the short times that they have spent.

Liam and Jason had finished telling the story to Yuri and Herald to which Yuri said "But wait, wouldn't what happen affect the Mohawk's reputation?"

"I don't think so." Said Herald, "Xythis doesn't do crap like that and learning about this, he'd make sure that Londinium would know fully well about his views on the human kidnapping scheme..."

"And likely making him look like a hero to the eyes of the public." Noted Yuri.

Liam and Jason look at each other with the realisation that what Yuri just said could be a possibility and it was something that they never considered.

The next day arrived and already the news were covering the underground operation that was being conducted at the stadium and noting how many of the Mohawks members were involved as well as the lower and less threatening gangs that were forced to stay hidden in Londinium after the Mohawk's control in power of Londinium.

Another article noted the feud between people of Londinium upon learning about Xythis' uninvolvement with the whole operation in some believing him to be a hero and others scolding him for not being aware of these cruel operations.

When a new day came, the team were ready to go on with Grant's plan to end Xythis' control of Londinium but first, he had to complete the original task was sent for him, Yuri, Liam and Herald and that was to prove Jason's fathers innocence and restore their family name.

When morning arrived, Grant woke up, still injured but doing better than last night. He saw Liam and Yuri having coffee together outside and Herald was training immensely while his twin sister Jessica had apparantly left to run her business and with Jason, he was finishing reading the news.

Grant smiled for only a few seconds before he got up and immediately got to business.
