"whats the status over there?" cedric said

He was currently on a video call with other world leaders, in the light of the fight against the krood, inside the observation area.

"not good at all. Our forces have been pushed so far beyond the protective line, that we have to escape from our strongholds." the united arabian countries (UAC) president said

"us too." the EU president said, as others also agree on their parts

"what about the US and the asian federation?" cedric said

"im afraid we are also down to our last few strongholds. We really cant last much longer, and the armors that was developed arent even enough." the US president said, as the chinese federation also agrees

"what do we do now?" cedric said, as a really big problem was in their hands

"sir! Its sir leo! Hes taken project advanced!" loid said, as he opened the door

"what?! Where to? Did he get a volunteer for it?" cedric said, as loid walks towards in front of him and saluted

"thats the thing sir.. hes the volunteer." loid said, as this surprised even tho other world leaders

"what?! What the hell is he thinking now?! First, he charges into the enemy with the armor, now hes taken the drug?!" cedric said, furious

"yes sir, and hes just awoken as he was taken to the infirmary." loid said

"is this already old news?" cedric said

"probably about 15 minutes ago, as the rest of us were just so busy with the krood army sir." loid said

"hahh.. Dont tell me hes now fighting against the krood." cedric said, as he suddenly had a headache

"yes, and thats all the news so far sir." loid said

"damn it! He just had to do it! There was even no guarantee if the damn project will work!" cedric said, before he sat on a chair, and massaging his head

"but sir, hes just woken up from taking the drug." loid said

"so what do you mean?" cedric said

"ah.. So the project really is a success." the US president said

"yes sir! And the staff said that hes even gained so much power from it." loid said

"just how is that even possible?" UAC president said

"its possible, because of genetic engineering. We just reprogrammed tons of viruses, so to force the evolution of our own species." cedric said, as this surprised them all

"and, where is leo now? The last remaining illuminati, and the new president of neo japan." the US president said

"fighting against the krood, with his new powers sir." loid said

"how come hes fighting?! We can still defend ourselves as humans!" cedric said, frustrated

"with respect general, over the course of the wars against the krood, our populations always decline by the millions every after war. Every time." the US president said

"and how many krood wars does it make now?" the EU president said

"about 20 or so wars sir." loid said

"alright! I get it! Our population has declined by so much, that we would now resort to such measures." cedric said, admitting his mistake. "but what about the alien races? Why not ask for their help?" he added

"ever since the last time they came, the aliens havent come again, unfortunately." the US president said, as the other leaders also agreed

"you are kidding right?" cedric said

"in this situation, our only option is to tell the truth." the US president said, as the other leaders also agreed

"general cedric, its time we roll out the drug." ken said, as he enters the door

"hahh.. So, how is leo now?" cedric said

"hes currently teaching his girls on how to use their powers, all while fighting the krood." ken said, as he took a seat and was tired

"what?! There are also others?!" cedric said, as it surprised the other world leaders

"he said its a rare effect from taking the drug, but i highly doubt it. Hes not telling the whole truth, just yet." ken said

"alright. So, what do we do now?" cedric said

"leo said to follow the whole zombie protocol, before moving to the next phase. The darwin protocol." ken said, with a sigh

"what?! He expects everyone to just say yes to taking such a dangerous drug?! All for the future of mankind?! I think--" cedric said, as he stood, before he was stopped by ken

"i know what you mean, and such pride is a good thing. But will that pride make the human race survive this krood war?!" ken said, seriously

"damn it!" cedric said, slamming the table

"hold your temper general. We may be able to relate with what you said, but we have no other choice in this." the US president said, as the other leaders also agreed

"even i think that leo might not also have wanted this to happen, if it means to have a lot of casualties." ken said

"alright. Lets share to the others on project advanced." cedric said, giving up in defeat, as ken also agrees

With that, making of the drug for project advanced was now underway, all over the globe. With the world leaders initiative, both troops and civilians around the world had 2 choices in the midst of the ever escalating war, to evolve or not to evolve. Of which both choices will always have the option of suffering.

2 days later, somewhere in the EU..

"help! Somebody, help! The krood are here!" someone said, amidst an ongoing invasion.

"fear not citizens! I shall vanguish this roach!" a knight in black medieval armor said, before he unleashed his powerful vibration sword techniques

"whoa.. A black knight!" the civilians were now at ease, and later took photos of him using their phones

"citizens! Please go to the shelter! Its not yet safe!" the black knight said, as he was fighting against the mass krood hordes

Until some of them escaped his grasp, and went towards the citizens.

"kyaa!" one girl screamed, before slowly seeing that the krood was now split in half

"are you all alright?" yuki said, as she descends to them

"an angel." one of them said

"an angel that god has sent from above!" another said, before they all were saying many things, before yuki goes to the black knight

"are you alright?" yuki said to the black knight, who was still fighting against the horde

"does it look like im alright?" the black knight said while fighting

"are there any civilians left in your direction?" yuki said, as she stopped at a distance away from the knight

"no, but what are you--" the black knight said, and was cut off, before yuki stretched out her fingers to all the sides around the knight

"better not bite your tongue old man." yuki said, before she unleashed thick lasers in a straight line, around the black knight

"whoa! But how--" the black knight said, before he was cut off again

"more incoming! I got your back!" yuki said, as the black knight agrees

Then they both fought against all of the krood around the area, and finally escaped when all the citizens were safe.

"that was a close call, thanks young lady." the black knight said, as they were walking in a tunnel

They were now at the subway tunnel, where it was a way to one of many shelters around the area.

"no problem. I was basically assigned here by leo to help with the situation." yuki said

"you mean, the illuminati leader? How are you even acquainted?" the black knight said

"im basically one of his wives." yuki said, embarrassed

"what?! What is he thinking letting his wife do his work?!" the black knight said, before she looks at him angrily

"i will have you know, that hes quite the busy person right now, saving all the people that he can. Hes not only the head of the illuminati, hes also the last leader of neo japan, and my amazing husband!" yuki said with confidence

"yes, sorry about that. The names charles stud, and you?" charles said, as he got his helmet off

"yuki hashira, the last princess of old japan." yuki said

"i see.. Glad to be of service to you princess." charles said, with a slight bow

"so, whats the status in your area?" yuki said, now serious

"its as you see.. And maybe even the same in neo japan." charles said, sadly

"ok, so how is the war going here?" yuki said

"not that good. There are many shelters around the country, but so little strongholds that will protect its citizens. And a few who dared to drink the drug, which forces ones evolution." charles said

"glad to know there are those who are brave enough to take the evolixer." yuki said

"evolixer? You mean the drug?" charles said

"yes. We all agreed to the name, cool right?" yuki said, with a smile, as charles agree

"in any case, are you here to help us with our little problem?" charles said

"yes. The krood portal right? Where is it now?" yuki said

"its inside the castle where the big ben is." charles said

"so why wasnt that portal destroyed again?" yuki said, before they arrived at the door to the shelter

"the old farts before said something about the big ben having a big historical significance or something, just like in all other parts of the world." charles said

"so its gonna be a big piece of cake then." yuki said, with a bit of a bad joke
