Part 2: Small Talk

After making the deal, the Italian gangsters immediately took Liam, Yuri and Herald for their mission and on their way to the location, the whole environment felt silent as the gangsters smoked a brand of cigarettes that were well received because of their smell resembled more of something sweet and savory rather than the nasty stench that some people were forced to smell years ago.

One of them opened a box for them and asked "Any of you want one?' To which the group responded by nodding their heads. They shrugged their shoulders and threw the cigarettes to the side and smoked freely.

Liam bravely asked "Have you ever considered giving those up?" The gangsters looked at Liam with intimidating eyes, causing Liam to explain "Its not that I have an issue but, I've been hearing rumours about those kinds of cigarettes have had counterfeit versions created that are created with actual tobacco and stuff."

"Yeah, we've heard that rumour as well." Said one of them. "But we tend to just go to the store and buy them so we at least know they're safe."

Yuri curiously asked "How are they safe?"

The gangster answered "Well basically, there was some research done by this one guy etc etc... And he had wanted to create something that people can enjoy while also making it easier for them, in a health sense... Despite the backlash and even controversies, the dude stayed on his word and after some tests, they were legit..."

"And not to mention that it was these cigarettes that helped create the Zigarette act." Noted Herald.

The gangster complimented on Herald's knowledge on history and said "Anyway, ever since trying these bad boys, I can't help myself."

Yuri then suddenly asked "If I may ask this question, why did your men attack me and Grant?"

"Yeah that was kind our bad really." Said the gangster in the back, he explained that they were doing their first heist and were nervous and when they noticed Grant and Yuri, they immediately went in for the attack. "So in other words, we were filled with adrenline."

The gangsters apologised to Yuri for what they did which Yuri found odd since they didn't look to be the apologising type but before he could press any further, the group arrived at their location.

"We're here." Said the gangster, he passed a gun to his friends and even passed some to Liam and the others to which they refused and they followed the gangsters as they exited the vehicles.

They hid seperately and watched as members from the Mohawk gang were smuggling the stolen goods that belonged to the Italian gangsters and immediately, the gangsters signalled to each other in what they should with Yuri and the driver in dealing with any snipers visible. Liam was left with the middle gangster as they would go and retrieve the stolen goods while the brute gangster and Herald provided them with support by dealing with any gangsters that were alerted by their presence.

And so, with their plan intact, the groups got into their position and readied themselves as the plan unfolded. Yuri and the driver found and managed to subdue the snipers and put them to sleep while Herald and the brute were on standby. Liam and the middle gangster were able to take care of any Mohawk members in their way and they managed to reach the stash but when they opened it, Liam was shocked to learn that the stash was filled with drugs.

He looked at the gangster and asked "Is this the goods you were to?! It thought you were referring to like food!"

The gangster picked up a small amount of substance and examined it, saying "This isn't drugs!" He then dropped the substance back into its bag and explained that it was substance that appears like a drug but was moreover something else, as he said "Actually, I take back what I said earlier as this is a substance that disguises itself as a non drug..."

"Wait, that means it is drugs?" Asked Liam.

To which the gangster answered "I'm afraid so... But this isn't ours..."

Suddenly the lights went on, forcing Yuri, Herald and the two gangsters to hide. Liam and the gangster were faced with a barrage of Mohawk members as they pointed their guns at them.

The gangster was shocked to learn something else as a man approached them, clapping his hands and appeared wearing the same attire that he was wearing. "Bravo..." said the unknown person.

But the gangster said, shocked "No... It can't be!" His voice beginning to tremble as he knew who that voice belonged to. And when their face became more clear to see, he was shocked to learn that the person that they were staring at was a member of the italian gangsters, Falcone.

"Oh but it is, old friend." Said Falcone, his demenour sounding condescending "Miss me?"
