Part 3: This Ends Tonight!

Xythis immediately went in for the attack but Liam managed to dodge it and he attacked him from the back which shockingly managed to inflict damage upon him, confusing Xythis. Despite this, he ignored and began to attack Liam with immense recklessness but Liam was being smart and allowed Xythis to try and attack him.

Liam found an opening and managed to hit him again by the knee, causing Xythis to yell in pain. Confused, Xythis said to himself "What the hell is going on?!" Not knowing that after Liam punched him in the ribs, his body attempted to heal but due to his ego and anger, he didn't allow its request and therefore was being dealt damage where his body could properly protect.

Liam went in for the attack but Xythis grabbed his hand and threw him in the air. He leapt to the sky, attempting slam Liam to the ground but Liam countered it and slammed Xythis to the ground, body first, causing even more pain upon Xythis' body.

Desperate, Xythis began playing dirty and grabbed some sand and tried to get some onto Liam's eyes but it backfired as Liam dodged it and grabbed Xythis' arm and proceeded to twist it, causing Xythis to roar and dash backwards.

Liam said to Xythis "That one was for Yuri!"

Liam dashed forward and proceeded to perform the back kick on Xythis, saying "That was for my gangster friend!"

Xythis was growing even more weak but he wasn't willing to surrender. Liam charged forward, managing to dodge Xythis', which had now move slower due to Xythis' body being weaken, and Liam punched Xythis in the stomach.

He said "And that was for Herald!" Liam continued to push his body to its limits while Xythis was still refusing to give in.

Liam then slapped Xythis in the face, "Thats for Frei!" Then he kick him in the leg, saying "Thats for Jessica." And then headbutted him, saying "Thats for Kindaichi!"

With all that damage inflicted upon him, Xythis had grown weary and was unable to move his body properly. He grabbed the bat with all his might and tried to swing it on Liam but Liam punched him, saying "Thats for Jason."

Xythis' body had completely shut down on him and he couldn't believe what he had witnessed as he had lost to someone like Liam.

Liam began to grow exhausted but he didn't stop as he had one final thing to say to Xythis. He stood in front of him, seeing Xythis' tears. He said to him "And this... is for my brother..."

Liam raised his fist, appearing like he is going to punch Xythis. Xythis closed his eyes in terror but Liam lightly tapped his face with a slap. Xythis opened his eyes and saw Liam kneeling down to get closer to him.

He asked "Do you fold?"

Xythis shocked by this, stays silent before he hesitantly answers "I... Fold..."

Liam stood up and left Xythis by himself. He ran to his friends to see if they could stand and then, the defeated fighters stood up, helping one another in getting up. The Mohawks, realising that their leader had lost got up and retreated.

Herald told to Liam, "I'll be fine Liam... Worry about Grant." Liam nodded and ran to his brother who was beaten up badly. Yuri and the others got back as Liam knelt down and held Grant in his arms.

The sound of ambulence is heard in the background as they arrive.

FOUR MONTHS LATER

Grant lied on the hospital bed, with wires around him as there was a monitor for his heart. A bird entered his room and the sound of the chirp, he woke up. He got up and looked around the room, seeing everyone there sleeping peacefully. But he realised that Liam wasn't there.

"Hey." Said Yuri as he entered the room and saw Grant. He sat beside him and handed him bread. "How you feeling?"

Grant answered "Like crap."

Yuri and Grant began to chuckle. Yuri picked up the newspaper and handed it to him. Grant took the newspaper and saw the news covering the big fight that had happened in Epping Forest.

Grant asks "I take it we won?"

Yuri nodded his head and said "You've got Liam to thank for that..." Yuri begins remembering what had happened, commenting "I never saw someone that powerful defeat someone like Xythis... It makes me kind of jealous in a way."

Grant asks "Why?"

Yuri answered "I... Don't know..."

Grant then says "Well thats the thing Yuri, we don't know what we truly want in life... It could be money... It could be peace..." his expression changes as he says "Or it could be-"

Before he could finish, Liam entered the room with a bag of food, appearing like he was in a hurry. When he saw Grant, he was shocked at first but he was glad to see him alive. Liam dropped the food and went to hug him, whispering to him "We did it..."

Grant responded "No Liam..." He stopped hugging Liam and looked at him and said "You did it..."

Liam began to tear up and then suddenly the others began to woke up and started talking to Grant, all at once. At the far side, Xythis watched as he saw how the group cared for one another and he thought to himself "So this is the power of friendship... And to think I shut everyone away..." Xythis' expression changes to a calm smile as he looked at the group and said "I hope I can have that kind of friendship... But until then... I have to change myself... Thank you Geminus..."

Liam and Grant laugh together alongside their friends.
