Chapter 133:
The Lifeless Supermoon: A Fateful Encounter
Ayane felt a bit sad that she had unintentionally made Kanako sad by telling him her past. She was looking for a distraction for him to forget it and go on with his life. She really doesn't want to bother him with her past.
"H-hey, let's go to your club and see what it is doing, shall we?" Ayane pushed her face away from his chest and got up, and pulled on Kanako's shirt sleeve in excitement.
"You surely want to go there? There isn't anything interesting though. The clubroom is pretty small compared to others."
"What is your club doing this cultural festival?"
"It's just a small photo exhibition."
"Are your photos in the exhibition too?"
"Uh, yes. Why do you ask?"
"Then thats enough reason for me to go." Ayane pulled on Kanako's sleeve trying to drag him to the school entrance. "Now lets go!" Her voice was full of enthusiasm.
"Okay okay! Clam down a bit, will you? Let me pack things up." Kanako started to remove the trashes from the bench and pack the things he had taken out of his bag earlier with his free hand. He didn't want to remove Ayane's hand that was pulling him.
"Let me help too!" Ayane took the bag to trash that Kanako picked and threw it in the nearest dustbin two benches ahead. It was surprising that so many people came today. Being a bit far from the main entrance made the crowd much less.
Ayane payed no heed to her surroundings and what was happening around. She just wanted to throw the trashes and meet him again, when suddenly a voice called for her. It was deep, but calm voice. "Aren't you the one who played as the main heroine in the drama? It's nice to meet you!" As she looked up, she found a blonde figure she didn't know extending his hand for a handshake.
She was confused. Why would someone do something like this? This is unusual, isn't it? But keeping someone's handshake was rude, so she hand to give in. "Y-yes. I am Ayane. Sorry, but I didn't quite recognise you."
"I know that." He said with a smile. "But you might recognise her, won't you? You played her script after all." He moved away, showing the reddened Miko-chan completely defenceless.
"Hey... I told you not to do that... why did you do that..." Miko's bubbly eyes looked like it was about to cry like a baby. Ayane's instinct led her to hug Miko, calming her down. But the identity of the person still wasn't identified. But it didn't take her long enough guessing by her and Miko's previous interaction to know who he was. Before she could speak, the blonde hair guy spoke up.
"My name is Kuze." He said with confidence. "I want you to know the rest about me from here." He pointed at Miko, who was in Ayane's arms.
"Not fair...." Miko mumbled.
