"I see..." Ayane's subtle evil grin made the Miko in her arms scared. "So THIS is what you meant before you ran away."

"Ayane-chan... don't do that... not you too..." Miko's eyes were irresistible not to cuddle.

"Miko-chan, did anyone tell you that you are cute?" Ayane glanced at her eyes, dead on.

"Oh!" Kuze raised his hands, as if he were a child wanting to answer the question the teacher gave. "That's gonna be me! Miko-chan is very cute!!"

"Kuze-kun... could you stop teasing me like that?" Miko hid herself in Ayane's chest. But she noticed something unusual. "Ayane-chan, why do you... smell like a boy? Did something happen-" Ayane's memory flash backed at the moments just before about Kanako hugging her. Maybe that's the reason. Miko also caught on the hints. "Oh... I see... Kanako-senpai huh..." she mumbled into Ayane's ear. Ayane's face went full red.

"Tell me this, Miko-chan." Ayane avoided eye contact. "Does it smell bad."

Miko grinned. "Not at all."

"I see." Ayane smiled.

Miko hopped off of Ayane's hug. "Maybe I should stop this. You wouldn't want that precious smell of yours be overwritten by mine, would you?"

"Miko-chan! Stop teasing me like that!" Her mind was going dizzy. "And besides, would you think I would do something like that? Come here!" She hugged Miko again, as a proof of her words.

"Aww Ayane-chan you are too precious!!" Miko cuddled right into her arms again.

"Hmm..." Kuze felt like he was third wheeling this entire time. "These two would make a great couple... I just wish she doesn't get taken away from me by a woman though... it would hurt..."

"Yeah, it would hurt a lot." A voice mumbled close to him, startling the heck out of him. It was rare that he was startled and not the one startling the other person.

"Ahh!!"

"Oh sorry did I scare you, Kuze? What, have you become a crybaby the last time we met?" It was Kanako's voice.

Miko and Ayane realised Kanako's presence along with Kuze. Ayane's heartbeat increased as she realised that he might have been listening to the conversation the whole time.

"From when were you here?"

"Well, almost the entire time? Ayane-chan was late so I came to check, and when I was here she was cuddling with Miko-san, and it was too precious so I didn't disturb."

The fact that he might've listened to the whole embarrassing conversation made Ayane's head dizzy enough. Miko took her hand and went off to cool down. "I am going to buy some drinks, okay? Don't go off from here!" She rushed off, taking Ayane.

Silence prevailed between Kanako and Kuze, but Kuze was the one who broke it.

"Ayane-chan." He said in a mocking tone.

"What?" Kanako was annoyed. Kuze's trick worked.

"So you are calling her in the 'chan' suffix basis? You are bold, aren't you?"

"So what of it?"

"You know I started to call her 'Miko-chan' after we started dating. And look at you!"

"Shut up."

"You are a shy boy, aren't you?"
