Czech out that sweep

As Inez managed to break free from Muazzez, and run off, airhorns blasted off.

"IT'S JACKPOT TIME AGAIN! 10 MILLION WWCF POINTS UP FOR GRABS, AND IT WILL BE BETWEEN... YOU TWO!" D.R. Passant declared as he pointed at Aya and Laia.

The two giddily went up to the stage, but as soon as they were in position, a thick fog rolled out and shrouded the board.

"It's fog of war for this jackpot. Now, let the game begin!" D.R. Passant grinned.

The game began with Aya moving her pawn to e4. Laia made a move, prompting Aya to move her knight out to c3.

"The unknown is such a dreamboat! What alien could leap out at me from the fog!?" she giddily cried as Laia made her move.

Aya moved her knight to d5, finally being able to spot a pawn. However, it vanished just as quickly, indicating it had been moved to e6.

"I like knowing more about the unknown, but the known can become so boring at times. Welp, I'll just use it to find the unknown!" Aya thought as she moved her knight to f6.

That yielded gold, as now she could see the king, and a knight which promptly captured her knight.

"Not getting away from me now!" Aya grinned as she moved her pawn to e5.

Sure enough, the knight moved away, but that was all according to plan. "Ha ha! You moved your knight, meaning it's safe for my queen to go to h5!" Aya thought as she moved her queen to h5.

A bigger gift basket came in he form of Laia moving her pawn to d6, allowing Aya to move her knight to f3. Laia captured the pawn at e5 with her d-pawn, but Aya captured said pawn just as quickly with her knight. And then Laia moved her knight to c6, into Aya's sights, allowing Aya to activate her plan and capture the pawn at f7 with her knight.

Then, she just had to wait. And then, Laia captured the knight at f7 with her king.

"IT'S OVER, LAIA! CHECKMATE! INTO THE DEEP BLUEBERRY FOR RESEARCH!" Aya manically laughed as she captured the king at f7 with her queen, winning the game.

The fog vanished as airhorns blasted.

"WE HAVE A WINNER! For the winner that's you, 10 million WWCF points! And for the loser that's you... A DIP IN THE BLUE!" D.R. Passant declared as the trapdoor opened beneath Laia, sending her into the blueberry juice below.

Aya watched with enthusiasm as Laia was sucked throughout the room before being spat out into the kiddie pool, all blue and sticky.

"SENSATIONAL! AH! IT'S LIKE I'VE BEEN BATHED IN ALIEN FLUIDS AND SPAT OUT THE TOILET! AHHHHHHHHH!" Laia moaned as she began to hug herself.

"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAA! YOU REALLY ARE BLUE! AND STICKY! RUB SOME OF THAT GLOOP ON ME!" Aya giddily squealed as she leaped into Laia's arms.

Camera happily documented the experience while Inmaculada and Ingūna groaned in disappointment. However, much to Aya's surprise, the blue didn't rub off onto her clothes or skin, prompting her to head back to the tank. In the line, she encountered a girl with a blonde Chelsea cut named Miluše Fučík.

"Would you care to face me in a match? I'll lose so I can experience the sticky blue unknown."

Miluše stared down Aya before shrugging and saying it was fine. However...

"Ch- Checkmate. Forgive me!" Aya cried.

"The hell! I thought you said you'd lose!" Miluše cried as she was plunged into the blueberry juice.

Unfortunately in this case, but fortunately in others, Aya had pride and would always play to the best of her abilities no matter if she wanted to throw the match. That meant the only way to vanquish her was to beat her fair and square.

As Miluše was spat out into the kiddie pool, sticky and blue, her teammate, a woman with the back half of her head completely shaved and tattooed named Jiřina Horky, approached her.

"You got beat by a sub-2000? Talk about lame. Well, when I avenge you we shave the fuzz off the back of your head and get you a tattoo to match mine," Jiřina proudly huffed.

Jiřina let out a scream as she fell into the blueberry juice and got sucked around the room before being spat out into the kiddie pool, sticky and blue.

"And for failing, how about we shave the hair off the front of your head along with your eyebrows," Miluše snarled.

"LIKE HELL! I did that once, and I looked like a freak! Besides, this look's unique and makes me stand out, and I like standing out!" Jiřina fumed as she picked herself up.

As they began to bicker, their teammates, Lucie, a red-haired girl named Jarmila Zlochová, and a blonde-haired girl named Libuše Čížková, approached them.

"So what happened to you?" Lucie asked.

Miluše quickly informed the three of Aya, causing Lucie to nod her head. "Ecuador's Aya Bentura. I've seen videos of her. She's known for having lots of crazy conspiracy theories, usually ones involving aliens. Always wanted to put her in her place."

"CZECH ME OUUUUUT!" Lucie cried as she fell into the blueberry juice.

Aya had felled yet another Czechoslovakian challenger.

As Lucie was spat into the kiddie pool, sticky and blue, Jarmila decided she would be the next to take on Aya, but 10 minutes later, she herself was plunged into the blueberry juice and spat out into the kiddie pool sticky and blue.

"Libuše, avenge us," Jarmila cried as she slowly picked herself up.

"Why should I? I'm not going to ruin my clothes and hair," Libuše scoffed.

"I'll shave your damn head if you don't." Miluše snarled.

"Just try. You'll be in a body cast before you know it," Libuše glared as she cracked her knuckles.

"You know, it might be best if Libuše doesn't play. If she, our top and only remaining player gets beaten by Aya, it will be humiliation. We can't allow our team to get wiped for the good of our country," Lucie sighed.

Libuše's ear twitched. "Huh? You implying that I would lose?"

"Well... yes..."

And with that, Libuše stormed off towards the DJ table.

"Worked like a charm, now we just have to hope she really doesn't get wiped," Lucie thought.
