Chapter 1:

Hope

Pandora Reverse

In the new dimension created by Melon, people were starting to call it Pandora's World, there was panic, and society broke down. Knowing there was a year left, people's inhibitions went loose, and there was chaos everywhere. Foreseeing this, Dochas Amal decided to flee from civilization and ended up in a deserted island in Greece (Pandora's World and the Old World are essentially the same in terms of geography).

One day while he was walking along the beach, he saw an unconscious old man lying on the sand. He was worried and decided to bring him back to his hut. Unfortunately, he was alive. Amal was wondering how to get rid of him when the old guy spoke.

"I would like you to do me a favor though."

"You were the one who washed up here."

"I am the owner of this island in the old world, so by rights this place is still mine."

Amal hadn't that of that. Thinking it was going to be some chores, he asked, "What do you need me to do?"

"Save the world."

"Be realistic."

"I'm not joking." Then the old man started explaining how the Pandora's box contained evils but also hope and Amal was the holder of the seed of hope, thereby having the responsibility of saving the world.

"Sounds like bullshit. How would I go about doing this anyway?"

"The Pandora's Box in this dimension was split into 5 pieces. If you gather all five pieces, you could reverse the dimension split and save this world."

"How do you know all of this anyway?"

"I'm the one who create the box in the first place."

"Wait, that means you're..."

Zeus showed off his powers by blasting lightning at a giant rock.

"If you're a god, why are you here?"

"The gods were sucked into this dimension."

Amal chuckled. "So what you created ended up screwing you over."

"Gods aren't paragons of virtue."

"Anyways, I have no powers, so why don't you deal with this."

"There are certain reasons. Also, don't worry, I brought some mythical objects to help you out. Due to the potency of these artifacts, you could only choose one." Zeus dumped a number of objects out of the sack he was carrying.

Amal browsed the objects. "What does this do?" He held up a sword.

"It could cut through anything."

"Too generic. What about this?" Amal held up a pair of shoes.

"That allows you to teleport to any place you've seen before."

"This one seems useful." Amal continued to rummage through the mess of objects.
