Chapter 1

"So you are telling me you made this program so that you cannot physically appear in the timeline when you first met you wife?" The colleague of Rev's asked him about the flashing blue holograms everywhere in his room.

"Yeah, I am not sure what I will do to her, if I meet her personally." Rev shyly looked away from the screen he was working on. That lead, Dario, his colleague to whom he called in his lab to help him out so he could "online" stalk her wife in the past. I am not sure how he was convinced to work on such task.

Dario was the only person Rev can ever think of calling to help him out. Dario never expected anything back from the work he did for Rev, which basically runs through lots of trial and error. To be honest he was neutral about everything around him, he never judged how Rev once didn't had taken bath for two weeks, "He might have his own reasons." He mumbled to himself. But lost all the meaning once Rev invited him to visit his room. And the reason was,  Rev's and his wife meet for the first time this time of years. Dario had never glared anyone in his life but Rev, whom he judged so much so intensely.

"I don't understand, you made a time machine in working... and you threw it away so that you don't became part of the past. And what's totally unreasonable is that you redo all the work... and just to let the data travel backwards... and monitor your wife's movements? What kind of definition of an idiot are you inventing?"  With Dario going on and on, his voice started fainting like a background music for Rev. 

This was time for Rev to relive once again those particular 8 years of his life with Gianna, the way they both met at the university, the most boringly romantic place. Of course, the type Rev is, he would never find anyone better like Gianna more than any educational institute, they both were under the PhD student label and only happen to have break time together. 

Every glance shared was a sudden call for Rev to know her more and more. The guy who never walked outside of the house, on weekends, asked a girl out with the help of his classmate, they somehow did only one good thing that they all sensed that Rev got a crush. 

There date was the longest and second place Rev forgot the track of time, although Gianna was bored of all the technical talk from Rev, well people who likes literature, do listen but all the scientific terms was too hard for her to understand and yawn along, but she never complaint, the only thing he remember as highlight from that date was, "I wish I become something as interesting as a machine or something. Your face lit up so much that I'm a little jealous of those machines now." He kind of remember every detail on her face from that day. After there time in the restaurant, Rev suggested he would walk her home and it was the first time Gianna went talking on and on, maybe because it was a fifth date and she found little trust in Rev now, he wanted to test if she can trust him now. But then she told him, "I haven't dated anyone after a long term relation from my high school, you see the guys make promise that 'this is it for our whole life' in the flow but my ex-boyfriend did something, any woman could never forgive. I was really scared to start something like a relation at this time around too. It's been few years now and I still don't want something to distract me from studies." 

What was she implementing was confusing on the same day she gets jealous of things that he likes and felt like they cannot call themselves couple to start with? 

"When you walked through those doors, when I was getting picked up for dressing like an old man, and you saved me from the shame, even if it's a teenage crush thing but it was first time someone stood against the bully for me. I admire you in a way of respect, miss Gianna." Rev said it, the last was little shyly but was not sure if Gianna got the intentions he want to convey. It's sincere love, of course all men have fantasies but not all of them need to force them into the face of there partner; is probably what he meant. 

Gianna, giggled and laughed off what she was going to say. Time went by and Gianna was so comfortable with Rev that they pulled all-nighter at the lab together. She got her PhD, Rev had a long way to go but they supported each other and had genuine care for each other, they were aware of every scar on each and individual one of them, even the each mole location on each body as well. It was such smooth sail that Gianna said that she was afraid such surreal feeling.  Right when time would prove that the sail need some hurricane to arrive but then Rev official got an honoring title in his field. He was worried as well but can anyone tell what future holds, he insisted that better live in the present if the path thorny ahead. For Rev, he already had a thorny path back then, at least with Gianna it had rough patches but no thorns, and she kept mentioning the thorns even when there was none was going make him explode emotionally soon. 

Four years in this relationship, he thought maybe she wants a diversion on the path, and instead of looking for hurdles, he placed a camp by the road and said, "Better take rest and let your worries faint a little and let's add a new adventure in this little pause together; forever." No the proposal wasn't grand, he couldn't afford such, yeah at least let the fantasy let be rich but this is part of reality. But it was heartwarmin---

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENINGGGG?" Dario had to scream at the top of his lungs. "AT HIS RATE THE SYSTEM WILL CATCH FIRE, YOU PERVERT!" 

'Huh? Why am I the pervert here?' Rev though to himself. He successfully managed to track all the data on Gianna's android and the data was downloading unknowing, and it was a woman in bikini on the screen. From the shock from both the oldie fall off his chair. 

'I managed to reach Gianna in past?' He thought to himself.
