Hit and Kill ~Main Story Arc~

Narrator: "This world is surrounded by crime, greed, and many other sins. When people gave up hope for peace there are a group of assassins that would cleanse the world. If you're truly tormented by anyone and want vengeance then you must call upon The Sweepers and they will take vengeance for you."

It was night time and Gabby is on her way home from work until she saw her friend and co-worker having an argument with a Politician who is aiming to be the prime minister of United Bridgeknight.

Gabby: "Huh? What is Alan doing here with Warren Millers?"

Alan: "AAHH!!!"

Gabby: "Oh my god!"

She saw him getting hit by Warren Millers' car and died.

Warren: "That boy...he should stay out of my business."

Gabby: "Oh god! I hope he didn't see me...but I need to take the photographs." She took photographs of the incident but forgot to turn the flash on her camera off. "Oh no I forgot about the flash."

Warren: "Who's there?!"

Campaign Manager: "What is it, sir? Why are you being paranoid?"

Warren: "I just know someone is here somewhere I saw a flash from a camera."

Campaign Manager: "No need to worry sir you're just visiting this state for a couple more days besides no one will know that dead man is your son."

Gabby: (Whispers to herself) "No way?! Alan is Warren Millers son?! But why would he kill his own son and made it look like suicide?!"

The next day Gabby went to work at the newspaper office.

Co-worker: "Hey Gabby!"

Gabby: "Yes?"

Co-worker: "There someone in your office waiting for you."

Gabby: "Okay thanks." When she was heading for her office, she was puzzled about who would be in her office early in the morning. "I normally get visitors in the afternoon never in the morning something's off..."

She went into her office then sees a man she never met before waiting.

Campaign Manager: "Hello Ms. Dunford."

Gabby: "You went through my office?"

Campaign Manager: "Sorry I'm a bit noisy about other people especially those who witness something they aren't supposed to know."

Gabby: "Are you threatening me? It is a crime to threaten someone's life."

Campaign Manager: "I'm not threatening you I'm just saying it better to not publish a certain story that involves the future prime minister."

He tries to hand her a big stack of money but she slaps the money out of his hand.

Gabby: "I hate to break this to you but you can't bribe me with money. I'm a reporter I always publish the truth and nothing but the truth."

Campaign Manager: "Okay but I did warn you..."

He picks up the money and walks out of the building then Warren's car pulls up outside the office; they are heading back to the hotel suite.

Warren: "Did you find out who took the photographs?"

Campaign Manager: "A reporter name Gabrielle Dunford seems to me her and your son were good friends."

Warren: "He probably told her about me."

Campaign Manager: "Maybe we can't know for sure."

Warren: "I want those photographs!"

Campaign Manager: "I tried finding them in her desk it seems that she hid them somewhere else but we have the advantage."

Warren: "How?"

Campaign Manager: "If we can't bribe her then we can make her give you the photographs willingly."

Warren: "I see how about threatening her for them?"

Campaign Manager: "How about her job?"

Warren: "Excellent."

Meanwhile, Angel and Shadow were watching a potential client Gabby.

Shadow: "Wanna bet if she'll actually send in a request?"

Angel: "I bet she won't she seems like a scared little kid."

Shadow: "I bet she would."

Angel: "How much?"

Shadow: "Two hundred currencies."

Angel: "It's a bet!"

The two vanished as Gabby walks into her apartment and noticed the door was unlocked.

Gabby: "Huh? That's weird why is my door unlock? Maybe the landlord came in and fixed something."

She is shocked to see that her apartment was broken into with everything on the floor along with someone painted the words You Were Warned. Afterward, her landlord came in and noticed what happened.

Landlord: "Oh my! What happened here?!"

Gabby: "Somebody broke into my home and trashed it!"

Landlord: "You better call the police!"

Gabby: "I won't do it..."

Landlord: "Why on earth you would not?!"

Gabby: "Because even if I did, they won't believe me when I tell them who done this...so can I just have the key to Alan's old room just for tonight?"

Landlord: "Alright fine but I will report about your apartment being broken into."

Gabby: "Okay..." She went to the apartment three floors up to her friend's room after going into the room she noticed a cassette tape hidden under the table. "That's strange why would he have this hidden?"

She takes out the tape and plays it with her cassette player.

Alan: "My name is Alan Shannon if you found this Gabby then that means I'm dead."

Gabby: "Is this his taped will?"

Alan: "I'm recording this to let you know that Warren Millers is my father. He cheated on his wife with my mother Marline Shannon a waitress. When my mother discovered her pregnancy, he denies the fact that he is the father but his first wife knew about the affair and she paid off my mother to never tell anyone about their affair. During the time he was trying to be a politician so he could one day be prime minister of our country. So, after paying my mother she left Caledon, Marinia, and came here to Rhinestone City, Sybrill to raise me. When my mother told me about this, I knew I needed to be a reporter I want to expose that man for abandoning his son. Sadly, my mother fell ill I thought the least he could do is to help her after all but he didn't and my mother died months after the illness. When I heard that the two candidates for prime minister were visiting the best places in every state, I figured it would be that chance to confront him. I know that he plans to use the money from everyone in United Bridgeknight to use it as trade for smuggling illegal drugs to the mafia. I have information about Millers hidden away in my office at work it has enough information to bring him down. I would do myself but I know I won't be able to and Gabby I want you to know that I love you I always did I just didn't have the guts to tell you..."

The tape stops playing and she started to cry.

Gabby: "If you told me about your feelings sooner, I would have accepted them but I would tell you that my work comes first."

It was the next day and she went to work only to see that everyone at her workplace was in shock.

Co-Worker 1: "Who would do such a thing to her?!"

Co-Worker 2: "I don't know but I'm glad I'm not Gabby…"

Gabby: "Huh?! What's going on here? Why is everyone standing around my office?"

Co-Worker 2: "You should see for yourself…"

She is shocked to see her office completely ruined and trashed with the same warning on the wall that was on her apartment wall; she knows who was responsible for it the same ones who broke into her apartment. After an entire day of cleaning her office, she went to a bar for a glass a wine.

Gabby: "One glass of red wine."

Bartender: "Okay miss here you go."

Gabby: "Oh how can things get any worst…"

Bystander 1: "No way really it works?"

Bystander 2: "A friend of mine sent a request to The Sweepers to get rid of some guy and it works she never saw that creepy guy again."

Bystander 1: "How does it work to hire them?"

Bystander 2: "They say that you'll have to have a serious vengeance on someone for their service but they don't always accept a request though."

Bystander 1: "Really?"

Bystander 2: "All I know is that you have to sacrifice an arm and a leg as payment."

Bystander 1: "No way! That can't be true!"

Bystander 2: "Hey that's what I heard."

Bystander 1: "We better get back before the others have search dogs looking for us."

Bystander 2: "Yeah we better."

The two men left money for their drinks and left the bar.

Gabby: "An assassin group huh? Oh, please like assassins would really kill somebody for good reason." She finished her drink and paid for it then left; it was the next day and Gabby was walking to work while reading the newspaper then she bumped into a mysterious beautiful woman. "Oh, sorry about that I didn't see you."

Christiana: "It's fine we'll see each other shortly."

Gabby: "Huh?!" She turned around and Christiana was gone. "What did she mean by that? What's this?" She notices an advertisement for The Sweepers assassin group. "Do you wish for justice? Do you want vengeance? Then send a letter or an instant letter* to us. Well…I don't know about that after what I heard last night, I don't want to give up my arm and leg…since that man isn't going to stop until he gets my photographs then I have no choice!!"

*Instant letter meaning email address/internet mail.

She went to work and goes into her office then turns on her desktop computer then enters the instant letter address. After sending the letter she gets an email on her mobile saying We'll Meet Soon.

Co-worker 1: "Hey Gabby I didn't think you'll come in today after what happened yesterday."

Gabby: "Huh?!"

Co-worker 1: "Is everything okay?"

Gabby: "It's fine I'm just hurt about what happened to Alan…"

Co-worker 1: "I know and the police said that they are giving up the search."

Gabby: "What?!"

Co-worker 1: "I went to the police department yesterday to interview the police in charge of the case and she told me that they are closing the case because there is no evidence on who killed him, she just said that they'll call it suicide."

Gabby: "It wasn't suicide though!!"

Co-worker 1: "I know hell everyone here knows it wasn't suicide whoever killed Shannon probably wanted to make it look like a suicide."

Gabby: "Yeah probably…" Just as she is about to go into her office someone stopped her. "Huh?! Head Reporter? What are you doing in my office?"

Head Reporter: "Listen I think you should take some time off."

Gabby: "What?! Why?!"

Head Reporter: "Because your office was broken into yesterday!"

Gabby: "I know that and?"

Head Reporter: "And your house was broken into the other night! Look I'm just worried about you kid…It's bad enough that I lost one great reporter I just don't want to lose another one."

Gabby: "Yes ma'am…"

Head Reporter: "Just be careful…whoever killed Shannon will be after you since you got the photographs of what happened?"

Gabby: "Yes Head Reporter…"

She is walking out of the building until she noticed a black van following her so she tried to trick the person following her but it didn't work.

Campaign Manager: "Hello Ms. Dunford."

Gabby: "What do you want now?!"

Campaign Manager: "Those photographs!! Give them to me!!!"

Gabby: "NEVER!!!"

Campaign Manager: "I guess I have to convince you then. Go on ahead boys beat her!"

Gabby: "Using others to fight your own battles how weak are you?"

The manager snaps his fingers and one of the men was about to punch her until she suddenly vanished.

Campaign Manager: "What?! Where did she go?!"

She opened her eyes to see that she is in an unknown place in the city with five people in masks waiting on her.

Gabby: "Huh?! Where am I?"

Christiana: "You requested us…"

Zachary: "I didn't think a cute girl like you would want someone dead."

Violet: "Do you have to flirt with every woman client?"

Zachary: "Sound to me you're jealous."

Violet: "Oh please you're not my type I prefer a man who is an actual man not a kid at heart."

Christiana: "Now now calm down children."

Shadow: "I told you she would call us you owe me, money sister."

Angel: "Fine! Here are your two hundred currencies..."

Christiana: "Who do you want us to kill?"

Gabby: "Well there's two actually…these two men…"

She hands Christiana the photograph of Warren and his campaign manager.

Violet: "That's the runner up for the U.B. Prime Minister."

Zachary: "What did he do to you to want him dead?"

Gabby: "He killed my best friend…Alan, he has been sneaky around lately I though he just has done something bad but he was finding out the truth about his father Warren Millers…"

Angel: "The runner up…"

Shadow: "Had a son?"

Gabby: "Yes…Millers had an affair with Alan's mom and well…anyways when he went to Millers, he killed Alan with his car with no sweat it was almost as if he was planning it…"

Zachary: "So why this man?"

Gabby: "He is willing to do anything to get the photographs of what I witnessed he might even have me killed and make it look like I killed myself. So please help me!"

Violet: "What an interesting request…"

Gabby: (thinking) "That woman in the center she must be the leader I hope she accepts my request…"

Christiana: "Your request…is granted.."

Gabby: "Really?!"

Christiana: "Yes but."

Gabby: "But what?"

Christiana: "Revenge is a double-edged sword for that you'll have to pay the price."

Gabby: "Price? Here take my arm!"

Shadow: "What are you doing?"

Gabby: "Huh?"

Angel: "Silly girl the price is not your arm."

Violet: "It's money."

Zachary: "Even assassins have to make a living too you know."

Christiana: "The price is five hundred currencies."

Gabby: "Five hundred?"

Violet: "It's usually four but we add extra if there is more than one person to kill."

Zachary: "But if you don't pay by the deadline then the request will be nullified."

Shadow: "After all…"

Christiana: "It's your choice."

Gabby suddenly found herself back near the train station she noticed writing suddenly appearing on her hand.

Gabby: "Huh?! Until September 5th…so that gives me about four weeks but how can I get five hundred currencies in four weeks?"

Just as she went into the train to go home Christiana and Meadow are about to leave the train station.

Meadow: "Do you think she'll actually go through with it lover?"

Christiana: "Probably not but it will surprise me if she did husband."

They left the station as Gabby went home figuring out how she can get the money. Meanwhile, Warren is on his mobile phone while going into his hotel room.

Warren: "You're going to handle that noisy girl? Good, I can't have everything I work for going to waste if she exposes me for killing that boy." He hangs up his phone. "Luckily I will be out of here tomorrow… just three more months then I will be Prime Minister of this country."

He noticed a twelve-year-old girl holding a tiger doll.

Lilly: "You're going to die tomorrow."

Warren: "Huh?!"

Lilly: "Your dream of running this country will never be you're going to die after all you can see me."

Loni: "That's right you better get your things in order before you die."

After what Lilly said Warren was surprised.

Warren: "What does that kid know? What did she mean by I can see her?"

Afterward, Gabby is in her apartment figuring out how to get the money.

Gabby: "How can I get the money? Hmm…. I can sell one of my body parts but that will leave me out of work… Then maybe I can borrow money from a bank but the bank will turn me down because I don't have any property…"

Landlord: "What is this about selling one of your body parts?"

Gabby: "Landlord what are you doing here?"

Landlord: "I here to let you know your rent money is due next month."

Gabby: "Oh well I don't think I will be able to pay rent next month…"

Landlord: "Why not?"

Gabby: "Because…well…I just need the money for…."

Landlord: "Are you going to hire a bodyguard?"

Gabby: "Yes that's right I just need to have five hundred currencies for the week."

Landlord: "Alright…here."

He gives her two hundred currencies.

Gabby: "Why did you give me this money for?"

Landlord: "Just pay me back by paying your rent early for four months."

Gabby: "Oh! Thank you! Thank you so much!!"

The landlord left the room and as he is walking upstairs, he lights a cigarette.

Landlord: "It's bad enough I lost someone who lives here I don't want to lose another one…"

Gabby: "Let's see I have about a hundred currencies in the bank but that still have me short about another hundred maybe tomorrow I'll ask someone from work to borrow a hundred currencies."

It was the next day and Gabby is swinging by her workplace for a bit when she noticed a police officer there talking to her boss.

Head Reporter: "I can't this happened!!"

Police Officer: "Sorry about what happened to you ma'am but it seems that the fire happened late last night and that somebody stopped the fire so that no one would report it."

Head Reporter: "It was a good thing that Gabby wasn't there last night."

Police Officer: "What makes you say that?"

Head Reporter: "Because that is her office."

Gabby: WHAT?!"

She ran into the building and went into her office to see it completely ruined and burned.

Head Reporter: "Sorry kiddo I don't know who would do this…"

Gabby: (Thinking) "It was those two I just know it! They are going to pay for this!"

Before she left the building, she remembers that Alan had information hidden in his office.

Head Reporter: "Where are you going?"

Gabby: "You haven't cleared everything out of Alan's office, have you?"

Head Reporter: "No I was just gonna keep it lock just until we get a news reporter."

Gabby went into his office and found the information hidden in the wall along with her photographs. Then something in a sealed envelope fell on the floor.

Gabby: "Huh? What's this?" She found eight hundred currencies in the envelope. "I can't believe he had this much money looks like he was gonna use it to leave here after publishing his story. Well, I won't let your story die with you Alan I'm gonna publish it and expose the truth but right after I do something first."

Meanwhile, Christiana is talking with a possible new recruit to the assassin group.

Mary: "Why is that you want me to join your group?"

Christiana: "Because I can see that you can be a great sniper. After all, we need another sniper in the group."

Mary: "I'm still not sure about this…"

Christiana: "I saw how you killed that woman. I was gonna do it myself but you handle it just fine."

Mary: "What?! I couldn't afford to pay for your service!"

Christiana: "True but your friend, on the other hand, paid me. So, do we have a deal?

Mary: "Oh what the hell? I'm sure if Cassidy were here, she would do the same thing."

They both shook hands then Christiana got an email from Henry.

Christiana: "Well…Well…perfect timing."

Mary: "Huh?"

Christiana: "It's time for your first kill as an assassin."

They left and went to kill Warren and his campaign manager. The manager is walking to his car Angel with her mask on appears to him.

Angel: "Excuse me but I'm lost can you help me?"

Campaign Manager: "Sorry kid but I'm busy."

Angel: "I'm not a kid I'm only nineteen so why don't we play a game?"

Campaign Manager: "A game?"

Angel: "Yes and if you win, I'll do whatever you say."

Campaign Manager: "Sounds promising let's play."

Angel: "Tag your it!"

Angel runs to a certain point so she can switch places with Shadow as she put on her mask just in time before the manager catches her.

Campaign Manager: "Looks like I win!"

Shadow: "Not really you lost! I'm a different person I never met you before."

She laughs as Angel came out of the shadows laughing as well.

Campaign Manager: "What's going on here?!"

Angel: "Want to kill him, sister?"

Shadow: "No…the boss said let the new girl kill him."

Campaign Manager: "What the hell is happening here?!"

Mary: "Take this!" She shot him with her red Glock gun making it look like he shot himself. "I can't believe I actually did it…"

Shadow: "Don't worry."

Angel: "You'll get used to it."

Angel and Shadow: "Before you know it, you'll start to assassinate people with no care or worry."

Mary: "What did I get myself into…"

Shadow: "I'm sure the boss will come home a few minutes after we do."

Mary: "What makes you say that?"

Angel: "She likes to torment her targets before killing them."

Meanwhile, Christiana uses illusion dust where Warren is at.

Violet: "Sir do you mind helping me?"

Warren: "Well of course but you'll have to pay me afterward if you know what I mean."

Violet: "Oh I know what you mean."

Christiana: "Say aren't you the politician who has a wife?"

Zachary: "Now he is cheating on his wife again with another woman how pitiful."

Warren: "What are you doing here Ms. Dunford? Who is that guy with you?! How did you know I was here?"

Alan: "You…You killed me, father…"

Warren: "HUH?!"

He sees Alan as a rotting corpse.

Alan: "Why did you kill me?! Just because I wanted everyone to know the truth about you?"

Warren: "Uh…Uh…AAAHHH!!!!"

He was screaming and running then camera flashes appearing.

Christiana: "The man who committed adultery then killed his own son and tried to kill a witness hmm what do you think about that my sweet Mem Mem?"

Meadow: "I think he deserves to be punished…"

Warren: "Wait?! How are you two?! Did that girl hire you?!"

Christiana: "Well then Via and Zac…"

Meadow: "Do we reach a verdict?"

Violet and Zachary: "Of course boss."

The illusion dust is worn off and the four of them are wearing their assassin mask. Violet and Zachary both lift one of their arms in front of them with their thumbs out and turn their thumbs down which means guilty.

Christiana: "We have reached a verdict your guilty which means your punishment is death."

She takes her sword out the silver blade longsword and kills him by slashing him then stabbed his heart.

Zachary: "Another wonderful kill boss."

Christiana: "I was gonna let you do it but something told me to do it myself."

Zachary: "Aw man I would have enjoyed it."

Violet: "That girl won't be a target no more."

The twins and Mary went to the meeting place as Christiana and Meadow left.

Shadow: "Boss! Of course, she left already…"

Angel: "She wants some time alone."

Violet: "Those two are happy as usual."

Zachary: "Well they are twins it's like they're in sync with each other. So, you must be the new girl huh?"

Mary: "Uh…yeah…"

Violet: "Don't worry you'll like being one of us."

Mary: "So…where is the boss?"

Violet: "She's off somewhere with her man."

Mary: "She has a boyfriend?"

Zachary: "More like a husband."

Christiana and Meadow are at a secret spot on the beach where no one in the city knows where it's at.

Meadow: "How long are you going to sit on my lap?"

Christiana: "As long as I feel like it."

Meadow: "Do you see the reflection of the city in the water?"

Christiana: "I do…shining so bright like rhinestones."

Meadow: "I wonder how the city managed to became the city like rhinestones?"

Christiana: "It's a mystery to me."

They share a kiss and it is the next day; Gabby published her story about Warren Millers it was the most talked topic everywhere. Before she went to Alan's grave she went to talk to her landlord and gave him an envelope.

Gabby: "Here."

Landlord: "The two hundred currencies? Why are you giving this back to me?"

Gabby: "Because I don't need it anymore."

Landlord: "I see since you published that story you must has gotten a bonus."

Gabby: "Not really…but I did get a new office. Anyways thank you for helping me."

Landlord: "No problem that's what people do though not a lot of people are as kind as I am these days."

Gabby left the building and is on her way to the cemetery then holograph screens have been appearing all over the city.

News Reporter: "We now know that Candice Loewy is be running unopposed as Prime Minister this will soon make her the first woman in history to be Prime Minister of United Brigdeknight. Since her opponent Warren Millers was found dead last night nearby a park it seems he most likely committed suicide. The reason for this is because of a newspaper report that exposes his true agenda for our country and killing his own son because he had the information. The report itself is honored with his memory thanks to a brave woman who published the story."

The holograph screens all ended the broadcast as Gabby went to Alan's grave with the newspaper.

Gabby: "I did it, Alan, I published your story…now everyone knows the truth about your dad…and I have to admit I had feelings for your too my pride wouldn't let me tell you…"

Peggy: "How sweet…"

Gabby: "Oh! Sorry I didn't think anyone was here.."

Peggy: "It's fine I can't believe my husband would do such a thing just because that boy found out about his connections with the mafia."

Gabby: "Husband? You must be…"

Peggy: "That's right Peggy Millers the funny thing is that I knew about the affair I was just young, hopeful, and stupid at the time."

Gabby: "Oh I'm sorry…"

Peggy: "I wasn't angry with Marline she didn't even know about me hell she didn't know Warren was married so why should I be angry with her?"

Gabby: "Then why did you stay with him?"

Peggy: "Like I said I was young and stupid…I was going file for divorce eight years but he threatened me to stay he said if you leave me, I will hunt you down and make you stay forever or I will kill you."

Gabby: "What an awful man!!"

Peggy: "I should at least pay respects to Marline's son."

Gabby left the cemetery as Peggy is paying her respects while Christiana is at the cemetery talking to a friend.

Christiana: "I hope you didn't mind reaping two souls in one day."

Ray: "I didn't mind at all it's my job as death remember."

Christiana: "Last time I check that's a grim reaper's job not the lord of death."

Ray: "Even death gets bored too you know."

Christiana: "Oh really?"

Ray: "I see you have a new recruit."

Christiana: "Yes it's nice to have another gunman or should I say, gunwoman."

Ray: "Ah."

Christiana: "Dead people are so interesting to talk too."

Ray: "Yeah right I can hear that sarcastic tone of yours."

Christiana: "You of all people should be used to it by now."

Ray: "Where's that demonic pet of yours? She is usually all over you."

Christiana: "She's at home she doesn't like going to cemeteries it scares her."

Ray: "A fox demon is afraid of cemeteries? That's a first. Anyways I'll get going another soul to get."

Christiana: "Bye Ray." She puts on her mask and walks up to Peggy. "You requested me?"

Peggy: "Yes the mafia is after me it seems my late husband put a hit on me."

Christiana: "Well then your request is granted."
