Chapter 9:
The boy and the unmovable clock
Contrary to ancient decrees, coming into contact with a black cat will only bring ill fortune to the person. This is especially true if the person contracts one, as it will only result in severe consequences for the user. As a result, it is imperative that all beings treat it with caution.
Panic and fear were evident on the faces of the hoodlums as they moved a fancy cart down the road in the Earth Kingdom; two were riding the cart, and three were on the road with a torch in hand, constantly watching for anything strange or land beasts prowling around.
Despite this, they continued to move forward while gazing at the dim yellow moon shining down on them, gazing at its marvelous and dimly lit beauty.
The bliss was cut off moments after the hoodlums quickly looked around; the panic and fear etching even more in their faces, they shined their torches towards the sound; they saw a huge black beast, nothing more, nothing less; it had four legs and small ears fur fluffy and black eyes that somehow resembled a reptile.
The black beast just stared at them as if testing them to see how they'd react if they'd attack or run away if they’re a danger or not. It silently looked at them, readying its sharp and huge black claws at them ready to attack whenever.
The hoodlums stared silently, sweating hard and trembling in the face of such power; they couldn’t help but be in awe and utter fear; they’re bodies kept trembling nonstop; they looked straight at the beast unsure of what to say, unsure of what to do, unsure of how to react, unsure of what to offer, unsure of what is best for it, unsure of their lives, unsure of what they’ll be offered, unsure of the agony of the stalemate, unsure of its hunger, unsure of its expression of its thoughts, of its hunger, of its power, of its beauty, and of... their life itself.
Suddenly the beast jumped up and used its claws to smash open the cart, revealing three more people who look well off and very rich.
They screamed in utter horror and swiftly and quickly the huge beast used its claws and ripped them apart, their guts flowing out of their stomachs and blood spurting out all over the cart and the ground Their bodies split in two and before the others could comprehend what happened, the beast quickly and swiftly bit hard into its first prey, ripping its head out, clean blood spurting out all over the ground and the beast quickly spit out the head that was only a skull, a shell of its former self.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
The others ran as quick as they could without looking back; certainly, this is quite the traumatic event, something they’ll never forget. Guts flying everywhere, their buddy’s head being eaten in full and the beast spitting out its skull in front of them certainly running away was the best choice; they were unsure of their lives yet again.
They didn’t dare to loo back or stop; they screamed at the top of their lungs without fear of losing their voice or hurting their lungs for what they experienced just moments ago is a hundred times worse.
That much was certain they would never head out in the dark ever again; they kept running senselessly in the darkness as it slowly but surely crept in and, unable to stop or look back, they could only hope the beast was full and would leave them and they would be in peace as he looked back, hoping its gone.
He sees a girl with long black hair standing in the darkness; her figure is clearly visible despite the darkness enveloping her.
They both stopped running and caught their breath, still scared and panicking.
He was unsure of what to do; there no longer was a beast ready to eat them whenever it wanted a humongous and black beast ready to devour them in a single instant yet it simply stood there with sadness etched in her beautiful and gorgeous features.
The two hoodlums looked at each other for a bit, not knowing what to do or whether she was the beast or not.
After finally catching their breath, they decided on approaching the woman but with caution, they slowly approached her so as not to agitate her or scare her, like before the man who ran first spotted the humongous looked at her with a very panicked smile, trying to reassure her and himself.
‘’Hey lady, what’re you doing here out late? Its dangerous here, you know?’’’ Despite the unfathomable fear shaking him and all of his senses telling him to run away this instant, he still reached out to her, knowing it was a futile attempt; he just didn’t care at this point.
The girl looked at him with her black, reptile eyes.
‘’ Hey, Mister Hoodlums! What you transported was a grave danger to the Earth kingdom; as such, of account, the Earth princess, I have no choice but to take your lives with me and thus I forgive in advance.’’ As she said, a black fromless blade formed in her hand and quickly and swiftly cut apart their heads and bodies.
Blood and guts were spurting from their decapitated bodies.
She opened her mouth and went to eat them.
Starting with the head eating the flesh off their bodies, pulling their hair out and eating the rest of the flesh alongside the brain, leaving only the skull, which she simply left as it was moving to the chest, ripping the fabric and shirt off, and working her way with the flesh biting off it like a starving dog who eats anything.
What lay ahead of her were the guts, organs, and heart.
She quickly went and pulled the guts out and sucked on them as it went straight to her mouths like noodles and though she wasn’t injured one bit, half of her body was still dyed red by her ‘’recent’’ hunt ordered by the Earth Princess; she didn’t mind how dirty she got after all; getting rid of her ''curse.’’ is what’s important to her, not the lives of some random hoodlums or rich people; of course their taste was exceptional but the after feeling of guilt and disgust heavily lingered on unabated. She continued eating the remaining guts and organs, finally leaving the heart, and she moved closer, opened up wider, and, in a mouthful, ate the heart fully. She ate the legs and finished up with him; she moved to the other one and did the same, eating him out until nothing of them was left.

It was late at night yet again as I headed back to my home after a good reading.
I looked out at the dimly lit yellowish moon, a tired and satisfied expression etched on me.
After walking for a bit, I finally arrived home and quickly laid down, feeling exhausted and tired Sleep came quick and I slept well.
He woke up feeling refreshed and got ready for the day, washing his face and eating breakfast and as soon as he opened the door to head outside, a tall, silvery figure stood in front of him holding a scythe with a sadistic smile plastered on it, its eyes bloodshot Ariel quickly took action and jumped backward before the strange figure swiftly kicked him, sending him flying across the kitchen and slamming into it.
The utensils fell down on him He felt his ribs breaking apart, his bones fractured just from a kick, and he coughed up blood.
Just this action caused him immeasurable pain; he couldn’t scream from pain as he was struggling to breathe due to the impact of the kick.
Ariel weakly looked up at the figure encroaching closer with its bloodshot eyes and sadistic smile, almost as if it’s enjoying this very action.
It raised its scythe high into the air and swiftly slashed Ariel apart, his body cut apart in two, his guts strewn about everywhere blood was spraying from his cut flesh, his face shocked, losing the light in his eyes, and he fell unconscious without any sign of waking up and with this, Ariel lost his life a second time.
‘’ Now that this paradise is lost, hope is lost, and only despair awaits, my dear. From now on, this story will keep going as long as the writer doesn’t stop; as long as your wishes and hopes stay, this story will never end and this tragedy will keep going Oh, I shall always be by your side, my dear. As long as the narrative is narrating your life, you will never die You will live through every tragedy and every hope that this story will present for this is your sin and your one and only life. My dear, you will live on so please don’t lament yourself, don’t lament this story and most of all, don’t forget yourself, my dear.

The entirety of the Earth Kingdom was overflowing with many land beasts slaughtering all of the people, blood and guts strewn about everywhere, corpses everywhere as far as the eye looked, no matter where only blood and carnage was seen.
The black cat arrived only hours later, and the kingdom was on the verge of collapsing.
She quickly made work of the land beasts ripping apart flesh with her big black claws, eating and ripping apart angry at her ignorance, angry at these land beasts and the princess not making a move.
The black cat finally finished with them and headed to the kingdom.
Before she could see a buff and round man with church clothes and a round hat covering up his small face without hesitation, she quickly moved to take care of him Her claws touched him yet they couldn’t scratch him beneath his round hat.
He smiled and, with a palm, instantly sent her flying a hole in her stomach. She couldn’t comprehend what had happened; she couldn’t even see it coming She fell down, crashing her head. Blood and guts flowed out of it, leaving a hole in her stomach and the back of her head.
She couldn’t move, she couldn’t think and she couldn’t transform either, as the healing would take time to help her and for a moment she thought.
‘’ Ah, this must be punishment for the lives I took. Ah, I see. Then I guess I have no right to complain. then how truly sad.’’
She closed her eyes, simply waiting for demise.
‘’ Finally, this kingdom is down; the fate of this world is about to change for the best and we will destroy this narrative for the best, starting with you, Eko princess and holder of ancient texts.’’
The doors to the castle opened for him, making his way inside, the guards noticed him and quickly went to take his life yet with only his palm, he made work of them; their bodies split apart and others twisted blood and guts flowed apart the beautiful carpet as he made his way to the throne room, where the princess laid sat on her throne, long black hair and red eyes adorning her gorgeous feature and an intense and angry gaze and without question raised her right hand and a huge sunflower appeared from the ground and shot straight at him.
He used both his hands to create a barrier to block it and successfully blocked it
‘’ Ah, how cruelly rude of you, princess, to ruthlessly attack me when I came here with goodwill and no ill intention whatsoever; I merely wanted to extend my greetings. Princess, truly, how ruthlessly cruel of you to attack and without a word, how cruel, oh, how utterly cruel.’’
The man with a round hat cried with a smile, unpleased with the princess’s way of greeting him
‘’ Chancellor, I shall say this once: Stop this farce and forfeit your life to me, you dog of the church. Why else would I want your life? You crude monsters are more evil than the landbeasts, perhaps more than the vacant sword king You devil in sheeps clothing constantly covering everything with gods guidance and all bull crap; you have angered me, trampled on my kingdom with your dirty shoes on and even struck my dear servants to death Not even your worthless life will pay for it.’’’
The princess said so with utter disdain and disgust towards the Chancellor and the churchpeople, his face one of surprise.
‘’ Oh princess, are you still lamenting what happened 100 years ago? Oh please, this was unavoidable; truly, your mother was a tyrant and thus, by transferring her status and power to you, ‘’the rightful one,’’ we yet again saved the world or perhaps this kingdom You should be grateful, princess; this was the right move please understand this was all for you, princess Every single bit of it was all for you that much, I can tell you princess.’’
The princess’s face yet again contorted to even more disgust and anger; she couldn’t believe the words coming out of his mouth, for me. For my kingdom? Unavoidable? Mother tyrant? The more she thought of his words laced in poison and not a single goodwill behind it, she raised her hands and sunflowers grew and instantly fired at the chancellor, one ray of yellow light after another to take his life away and end his pathetic ramblings.
