“I’m sorry,” Casper says. He is scowling.

The elderly woman opposite him looks intrigued. “What for?”

He grips his coffee tighter. “I’m sorry for letting them take away the rights you worked so hard to secure.”

“Oh dear, we know this fight would have its slip ups.” Vicky scoffs. “They’ve always hated us.”

Vicky is a proud woman. She hasn’t always been; a woman that is. She has always been proud. But she is also getting older.

“You’re still young. I’m worried about your future, but I won’t get to see it. Don’t worry about our legacy. Worry about yours.”
