My Final Message

Something I truly enjoyed. Something I thought I could never find. This was my last chance to try finding something like that, but as the clock struck 0, and everything started to fade to white, I realised. I realised what it was that made me truly happy. Being alive... I was grateful that I could leave this world smiling, knowing that I could smile, not because it was over, but because it had happened. How lucky we must’ve been to make it all the way to the end. Even if you didn’t believe in miracles, this had to be something close. A melody began to play inside of my head, one which paired beautifully with the bells of the end. One that I knew I would be happy to listen to, as I slowly faded away, along with the song.
