Karaoke.

Everytime I enter this place, I always feel the suffocating eyes of the people around me. They always stare coldly from a distance, without saying a word. That's why I have started to wear a mask, a facade, a fake smile whenever I enter this place.

"Oh! Isn't it Sakiko-chan! Good morning!" Someone greeted me as I have entered this place. I can't see their face. They are covered with a black veil over their head, or so that's what I feel like.

Oddly, I come to this disgusting place every day. It has a blackboard, about 50 or so people, benches, desks and windows. It's a place that many call, a classroom.

Despite having a boyfriend, I somehow am popular with the boys of my class. For this reason, I am not friends with any of my female classmates. Even classmates seems too neutral, they are basically enemies who hate me to death. But I am thankful that the boys are always there to protect me. Well, they have no other choice but to.

I usually sit down in my class during lunch break, not gathering anyone's attention. But today I stood up. Everyone looked at me with astonished, not knowing my future actions.

At the back of the classroom beside the window, three male students circled around to chat out their remaining free time. My plan was to approach them. That's right. Life is nothing but an aggregate of planned events, for the smart. If your life is an aggregate of unplanned event, sorry but you are not smart.

"Hello, can I take some of your time?" I leaned over, luring their lustful gaze over me. Their face had a darker veil than most people.

Among them, one was the captain of the basketball team, the other two were club presidents of the drama and music club. Undoubtedly good looking people, in fact, the three most popular boys of our class: Katsuo, Haruto and Eiji.

"Eh? It's pretty rare, for Sakiko-chan to call us." Katsuo grinned as he checked my body. At this point, I am used to their stares like this. " What's wrong?"

"Actually, I am going to a Karaoke tomorrow. I have invited some girls so, would you be interested?" I smiled, a smile which looked innocent at first.

According to my plan, all three of them agreed. I have placed all the pawns in the chess board, now it's time to put the main pawn, the King in the middle.

I texted Kanako, a text that was so tempting that he wouldn't dare to reject it. I grinned looking at my creation.

"Kanako-kun, I have reached out to Ayane-chan's cousin and invited her to a Karaoke tomorrow. Please arrive there immediately." Kanako received a text from Sakiko. He widened his eyes in surprise. Sakiko attached a picture of the location of the Karaoke. From her text, if felt urgent.

Kanako's eyes sparkled with excitement. Finally he might get the answers he was looking for. Tomorrow might be the day he ends it all and return back to his cheerful life.
