Chapter 2:

Area 7

Jurassic World: Genesis

21 June 2034

Location: Restricted Laboratory – Isla Norka

Narrator: The laboratory was dead silent. The only sounds were the distant echoes of alarms and the faint dripping of blood.

Dr. Henry pressed his back against the cold wall, his breath shallow. His colleague Dr. Convey was gone—devoured by the creature lurking in the shadows.

He had to get out.

Narrator: Carefully, Dr. Henry took a step forward. A slight creak.

Then—a low, rumbling growl behind him.

His heart stopped.

Without thinking, he sprinted.

His feet pounded against the floor, his breath ragged as he ran through the dimly lit corridors. The creature was behind him—he could feel it. Its presence. Its hunger.

Dr. Henry: panting, yelling “OPEN THE DOOR! NOW!”

Security Guard 1: over radio “Copy! Opening now!”

Narrator: The steel doors of Area-7 began to slide open. Henry rushed forward, waiting for the inevitable sound of claws scraping, of teeth snapping behind him.

But—nothing.

He turned back. The corridor was empty.

The creature… wasn’t chasing him?

Security Guard 2: grabbing his arm “Doctor, what happened?!”

Dr. Henry: panting “Something’s loose. Something wrong.”

Narrator: Then, it happened.

A piercing screech echoed through the hall.

The air shimmered—and from nothingness, the Shadow Raptor appeared.

Security Guard 1: terrified “I-It can camouflage?!”

Dr. Henry: whispering “It’s adapting…”

Narrator: The raptor lunged.

Before anyone could react, Security Guard 1 was yanked back into the darkness. His screams were cut short by the sound of crunching bones.

The gate to Area-7 slammed shut.

Silence.

Security Guard 2: whispering, shaking “Is it… gone?”

Narrator: He took a step forward. Something moved.

A shadow detached from the wall. Two gleaming eyes opened in the darkness.

Before he could scream, the Shadow Raptor struck. Blood splattered across the cold metal floor.

Dr. Henry couldn’t move.

Dr. Henry: whispering, frozen in fear “It’s… too smart.”

Narrator: The raptor turned its head, scanning the room. It was searching. Hunting.

Henry held his breath, pressing deeper into his hiding spot.

Then—he heard it.

A low growl.

From above.

His eyes widened.

Slowly, he tilted his head upward—

The last thing he saw was a pair of razor-sharp teeth descending toward him.

Then—his scream echoed through the facility.
