The Mirage Trial was unlike any other. There were no physical battles. Instead, Kairos had to face his fears. Illusions of his past, his failures, and his darkest desires haunted him. The Eclipse Flame twisted the illusions, making them feel all too real.

At the heart of the Veil, Kairos confronted an image of himself — but darker, colder. The shadow taunted him, whispering of the power he could wield if he surrendered.

But Kairos refused. He shattered the illusion, embracing his flaws rather than running from them. The Mirage Relic was his. Lyra watched with a smirk. “You’re stronger than I expected,” she said. “But strength isn’t enough.”
