Whipsers of Immortality

A hundred years have passed. The world has changed, but the stories of Kairos’s sacrifice — of the Eclipse Ascendant who gave his life to save the universe — still linger. Statues have been erected, songs sung, and his legend has become a myth, lost in time. But the prophecy of his immortality has not been forgotten. Whispers travel from kingdom to kingdom: Kairos will return.

The lands are torn. New factions have risen, each claiming the legacy of the Eclipse Flame for their own purposes. The Zeniths’ absence has created a vacuum, one filled by rogue Ascendants, mercenary clans, and bizarre cults. They all seek the Eclipse Flame’s power.

In the city of Solara, the central hub of all Ascendant activity, a grand tournament is announced — the Eclipse Tournament — where the strongest Ascendants will compete for dominion over the remaining relics and the legendary Flame itself. The tournament draws participants from across the realms, including strange new warriors, long-forgotten bloodlines, and even the enigmatic and chaotic Shatterborn — an ancient faction whose members are said to manipulate the very fabric of reality.

As the tournament nears, an ancient oracle emerges, her eyes burning with the power of a forgotten Essence: Fate. She speaks of Kairos, hinting that his return is imminent, though his form and purpose remain unclear. The world is on the brink of a new war.
