Karan took full advantage of his speed, dashing toward the enemy attacker. But this time, the attacker didn’t engage directly. Instead, the defender stepped forward, erecting a defensive barrier. However, Karan’s strike, fueled by his immense power, shattered the barrier with ease. His initial plan was to knock out the attacker in one blow, but things didn’t go as expected. Instead, his sword struck the defender, taking him out of the fight.
The attacker wasted no time in retaliating. Seizing the opportunity, he delivered a devastating strike to Karan, reducing his health by nearly 35%. The battle had now turned one-sided. Karan was left with only 45% of his health, while his opponents still had the upper hand. He picked up his sword from the ground, aware that, at first glance, anyone watching would bet against him. His chances of victory seemed slim. But he still had one advantage—his speed boost. Like a surge of electricity coursing through water, this ability could change the tide of the battle if used wisely.
Determined, Karan lunged at the attacker again. Though the attacker dodged his initial strike, he overlooked a crucial detail—Karan’s sword allowed him to attack in two opposite directions simultaneously. As the attacker turned to counter, Karan swiftly used the small blade attached to the handle of his sword. With precise accuracy, he struck the attacker's core, knocking him out instantly.
Now, Karan had taken down three opponents. But standing before him was someone on an entirely different level—a God-tier player, one whose reputation matched his own. The attacker he had just defeated had wielded a katana, and Karan picked it up. Now, in each hand, he held a sword—one red, one blue. He knew exactly how the opponent before him played. She was aggressive, always charging in, which meant she could overwhelm an opponent but also take significant damage herself. Players like her often relied on healers or backup items to sustain their offense. But now, she was alone—no defender, no attacker, no supporter. If she wanted to heal, she would have to do it herself.
She reached into her inventory and pulled out an item—a ring. Karan recognized it instantly. It was a healing artifact. She threw it to the ground, and a large glowing circle appeared beneath her feet. She stepped inside, and to Karan’s surprise, he was within its range as well. His health began regenerating slowly. This unexpected advantage gave him a brief moment of relief—until he saw her rushing toward him at full speed.
Karan smirked. "Goddess Nina, today I'll make history. Defeating the leader of the ‘I am God’ family and an elite member in a single match—sounds like a perfect record."
But Nina didn’t respond. She simply closed the distance and launched an attack. Karan dodged and countered, but the exchange continued at an unrelenting pace. The two clashed for what felt like an eternity, their blades colliding in a storm of sparks. Then, Nina accessed her inventory again, pulling out her full arsenal.
She now wielded five weapons:
1. Odachi – A long Japanese sword, deadlier than a katana.
2. Crossbow – Equipped in her left hand, capable of slowing an opponent’s speed.
3. Tiger Nail – A brutal claw-like weapon for close combat.
4. Blow Dart – Coated in poison, slowly draining the enemy’s health.
5. Armor – Granting her immense damage resistance.
With these weapons, she looked like a true warrior—like a samurai prepared for war.
Karan intensified his attacks, trying to break through her defense, but Nina was relentless. She utilized all her weapons seamlessly, leaving Karan with no opportunity to land a decisive hit. Her crossbow shots forced him to dodge, her blow dart kept him on edge, and the Odachi’s sheer reach kept him at bay. His speed was his only saving grace, but even that was barely enough against her relentless offense.
The match was slipping out of his control. Though the healing ring continued to restore his health, Nina’s attacks were outpacing its effects. His health dropped below 50%. With no armor, no shield, and only two swords, Karan was at a serious disadvantage. Meanwhile, Nina’s armor reduced incoming damage, her weapons worked in perfect harmony, and her strategy was clear—push Karan out of the healing ring at any cost.
She chased him, driving him toward the edge of the circle. Karan, focused entirely on avoiding her attacks, momentarily let his guard down. That was the opening Nina needed. She slashed him with her Tiger Nail, cutting his health by another 10%. The force of the strike sent him stumbling backward—out of the healing ring.
Karan hit the ground hard, still dazed from the impact. But Nina wasn’t going to give him a moment to recover. She immediately fired a poisoned blow dart, striking him squarely in the shoulder. His HP dropped another 5%, and now, the poison would continue to drain his health every minute.
He gritted his teeth and tried to re-enter the healing ring, but Nina was prepared. She fired three crossbow bolts at him. One found its mark. A system notification flashed before his eyes—Speed reduced by 30%.
With his speed crippled, his chances of reaching the ring were almost nonexistent.
But then, with a sudden burst of resolve, Karan made his move. He gripped his blue sword tightly—and hurled it straight at Nina.
