Chapter 9:

An Intimate Night

My New Boss is the Grim Reaper?!

Akane’s Apartment, Night

Death’s eyes widen with surprise. He is still pressed against Akane, who in turn, is pressed against the wall.

Death: “Are you sure?”

Akane blushes. She glances away. It’s cute in its innocence. She nods.

Death goes back to kissing her as she takes off her dress skirt and panties. Then, Death lifts her up by her thighs as she’s pressed against the wall.

Death has his manhood revealed. He readies it before pressing it into Akane. Their bodies merge.

Akane’s Apartment, Night

Akane clenches her teeth. She has her arms tight around the back of Death’s neck. Her expression is one of pain.

Death appears concerned.

Death: “Are you okay?”

Akane: “It’s fine…it’ll feel good in a moment.”

Death thrusts his hip in and then out. Akane sucks in air between her teeth, then breathes out. She has a moan of pleasure.

Akane: “It feels…it feels good.”

Death starts to thrust his hip in and out faster, making Akane bob up and down against the wall. Her moans get louder and louder. She has her arms wrapped tight around Death. She tries to hold back her moans, but she can’t. She feels too good.

Bedroom, Akane’s Apartment, Night

The lightning is dim.

Death lays Akane onto the bed as she gets on top of her. They are both naked now. He puts his manhood back into her and continues to thrust back and forth. Akane grabs at the bedsheets tightly. Her face is completely red.

Akane’s moans build.

Akane: “Oh. Oh!”

She clenches the bedsheets even tighter. Her expression is constricted with great pleasure. She is about to finish.

However, just as she is about to finish, Death takes it out.

Akane is exhausted. She is confused.

Akane: “Keep going.”

Death looks down at her. He has an inquisitive expression.

Death: “When we first meet…I was in my monster form, yet you weren’t afraid of me. Why?”

Akane looks confused. She’s still in heat and desperate for him to keep going.

Akane: “I…I don’t know.”

Death inserts himself into her again, and she gasps. He thrusts in and out, but yet again, just as Akane looks like she is about to climax, he pulls out again.

Death: “Why weren’t you afraid of me?”

Akane has a tired and desperate look.

Akane: “Don’t stop.”

Death: “Answer me first. Answer me, and I’ll let you finish.”

Akane covers her face with one hand. She is catching her breath. She thinks about it for a moment.

Akane: “I don’t know why but it felt as if I had seen you before. Even now, I feel as if I had known you my whole life.”

Satisfied with the answer, Death returns to thrusting, catching Akane off-guard. She squeals.

Akane climaxes. Her whole body shudders, then relaxes. She has an incredibly satisfied expression. She lets out a sigh of relief.

Death leans in and intimately plants a kiss on her cheek. He whispers in her ear.

Death: “You’ve known me your whole life, Akane. We’ve always known each other.”

The two of them lay in the bed, hugging each other tightly. They hug each other as if the moment they let go, they will never see each other again.

After a long silence, Akane speaks.

Akane: “So we really can’t tell anyone about the killer?”

Death: “I’m sorry.”

Akane still looks frustrated.

Akane: “Is that really it? I’m not religious, but I’ve lived my entire life believing that there was…something. Anything. Just a vague notion that the universe was fair. That there was a force that helped the good guys win and the bad guys lose.”

Death: “There’s nothing like that. Just humans.”

Akane has a scared and mournful expression.

Akane: “What do we do then? How are we supposed to live like this?”

Death thinks on it. He reassures Akane with a gentle look.

Death: “Do you know how many times I’ve watched your pathetic species almost annihilate itself to extinction? I cannot even count the number. You are so…so weak. So fragile. You break with the most gentle breeze, and yet, you persevere. Every single time, you manage to save yourselves from your own demise.”

Death reaches for Akane’s hand. He interwines his fingers with hers.

Death: “No matter how hopeless the situation or how long it takes, it will be okay in the end. Humanity has never needed Gods or Angels. You have always had love and compassion, and that has always been enough.”

Death kisses Akane’s hand. Akane looks back. She finally smiles. She snuggles closer to Death and buries her head into his chest.

Akane: “Thank you.”
