Oh, SO THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!!

“So, what do you want to know more?” Ask the god- “Shiro! One’s name is Shiro.”…… ehemm, Shiro.

“Everything!!! I want to know all you know.”

“Alright, One tell you, go back home first, and be sure ask Rina to come as well.”

“Wait, how is Rina involved on this. It’s my own pray. Not her.”

“Oh you think she is not? Come back to your home and you know it very soon.”

It is confusing, but for now I stepping back to my apartment.

In way, I’m thinking, how Rina is involved to her pray. Are her pray is also misinterpreted to god!?

I don’t get it.

OK, Shiro says ‘come back home’. But I’m not realizing this is become one of comedic scene on my life, and I don’t like it.

OK, let me explain from the beginning;

I was already in my living room, watching TV, both as myself and Touka. We’re watching a comedy show, ironically, I know. We’re laughing, drink, eat a dinner and having fun.

*ding dong*

I opened the door as Touka. I peek the poking hole, and as instructed, Rina is in front of my door.

“Rin-san, welcome. Come in, come in.” I opened the door and let Rina come inside.

“Thanks Touka.” She say while handing me more snack in a plastic bag.

“Souta!!! What do you want to talk about? It’s gotta be important, because you refuse to talk about it over a phone.”

“It’s too complicated, Rin-san. Onii-chan will explained it more.” I say it as Touka.

Rina is put her confused face while she goes into the living room.

“Please, come in. We have a snack and drinks in here.”

“You did a funny guy, didn’t you Souta.” That was not Rina. That was Shiro’s voice, with an echoed voice.

Shiro appear out of nowhere in front of me with a smoke like effect on.

“Oh, come on, you blocked the TV.” I complain to her.

“Oh! Sorry, I mean, where do I appear except in front of you?”

“Yeah, well I don’t know. Behind me?”

“Are you want to be scared again?”

I paused in there.

“Fair.”

I see Rina is already in the floor, scared.

“Rina, this is Shiro. She is the god from the shrine.”

She’s still stunned to react to the introduction.

“She is still scared, Souta. You really don’t understand people.” Say Shiro sarcastically to me.

I handed a glass a water to Rina, “Here, Rin-san. It’s OK.”

Rina drink that water, and calm herself.

“Souta,…….. is she….”

“Yes, she is, indeed a god.”

“How do you know if she was a real!?”

“Do you see her coming in. Is she come from the door, like you? I don’t think so.”

Rina see Shiro from head to toe.

“Indeed, she has a bizarre kimono, but I still had a doubt.”

Shiro walk into Rina and put her palm into her head.

“Shiro, don’t do anything weird to her.”

“Relax Souta, One just showing her something a little about oneself.”

I let Shiro do her thing. When she removing her hand, Rina started to cry.

“Rin-san.” “Rina.”

I want to comfort her, but she’s stopping me, almost immediately.

“No, I’m alright. I just now understand what have Shiro been through.”

While Rina is wiping her tears, she ask a question to Shiro

“So, you’re being saved by someone. Who is it?”

“That’s is my own secret. More like an NDA between me and that person.”

God also know about an NDA!?

“Souta, I also know about a modern life you know. Look.”

She showing me a regular smartphone to me.

“See, I have a phone too.”

How much you followed our era, oh God!?

“Since far from you all being born, of course.”

“Don’t answering my own thought, Shiro. I just thinking it outloud.”

“Sorry, but it’s still a questions, is it not?”

I mean, it actually is.

“Um, to be honest, Sou-chan. Your face is already predicting what are you asking, to be honest.”

“Really!?”

I see myself through Touka, and…. Oh, I see. Now I understand.

“OK, OK. Now I understand enough.”

I ask them something about this situation.

“So, Are you want to talk about this or what?”

“Oh, that. Yeah, sure.”

Shiro sit in the sofa while sipping the tea I prepare.

“So, you are want to know how, why, and what happened. My short answer is ‘I grant both of your wish.’ Souta and Rina.”

She paused. We anticipate her answer patiently.

“The long answer. It’s,……complicated.”

“Tell us.” I ask.

“Very complicated.”

“Don’t make a compromise with me. You know I were an excellent student, and even you tell me anything about beyond realm thing, I can search it afterward. Now tell us.”

Shiro lick her own lips with her eye rolling to the ceiling, showing us that she is trying to simplify her explanation so all of us can understand.

“People assume that they can make their own wishes without any care with their volitions. But actually, their wishes sometimes, most of the times can be same, entangled, or some, is connected to each other.”

She put the glass that she had hold before try to explain.

“Both of your wishes, has been connected and some, same. As god I will make sure that wishes become true one way or another. But,……”

She paused for a moment to catch her breath.

“….But, there were something that I need to take care of, and that is why Touka, is here. To fulfill that wish.”

I let that info sink for a moment. That was heavy.

Rina ask Shiro, “So, what do you need us to do?”

“You can do your daily lives with no problem. Seriously. God’s business is god’s business. Plus, even if I want to tell you about that, unfortunately I can’t because of the same NDA.”

There is some tense about it, and believe me, I want to know it as well.

“Don’t even think about it, Souta, Touka! Don’t!”

I see Shiro scary angry face. That is the first time I see angry god, literally.

“OK, OK. I won’t.”

“Good. Anyway, I will be in your ‘life’ now, Souta, Touka, Rina. Nice to meet you all.”

After Shiro said that, she literally pulling the same effect to disappear in front of us.

“So, that’s it?” Ask Rina.

“I think so, yeah.”

“But, I think we should expect anything from her, Rin-san.”

Rina holding her right hand, “You’re right.”

Rina sit in the sofa and chug the tea.

“Waaahhh. I don’t feel that tense since a long time ago. Whoa, I need a refresher.”

Immediately Rina goes into the fridge and take an ice cream.

She bite that ice fast, showing how she got intense stress from that conversation alone.

Wait, she didn’t tell me which ‘Rina wishes’ had to do with any of this!
