So, What Now?

Early night is still upon us, and yet, the question still haunting me.

“What Rina’s wish to her?”

“I know this is Shiro’s fault. Or is it?”

We both stare at each other.

*sigh

“Well, we can’t do anything about it. Since it already been done.”

“Sure, but even if we can do anything, I’m not sure what the final outcome either.”

We stare at the ceiling. We ‘monologuing’ to each other. Rina is already back to her apartment because her parents told her to come home earlier than before.

“Well, at the end, at least your wish is coming true, right. Onii-chan?”

“I don’t complain about it. But the question is why are you exist.”

I think about it for a second, Onii-chan has a point.

“I’m not sure. Indeed Onii-chan is me as well. But did you realize something?”

“Yeah. I know. Our way of thinking is different from the beginning.”

“That! It feels like, even Onii-chan is controlling us simultaneously, but we have a different way of saying something or a different way we address ourself. As if…..”

“As if someone already setting that since the beginning.”

Yup, that’s Shiro.

“Or maybe because we had a pair of brains?”

“Maybe.”

I decide to turn on the TV, to relax this situation a little.

“Hold on, what if….” I run to the room and bring back a math book to the living room.

“What if we…”

“No. It’s your problem.” I cut her before she said her intention

“Why!!!?”

“It’s not how it works, you know. Plus, we almost had a perfect score, why are you still complained about it. Chill a little, would you?”

I pout to Onii-chan.

“Hmph, It’s not that. I mean, If I can use Onii-chan to work on it, why I need to work on it as well?”

I shrug my head because of that question.

“Because, even If I do that, I still think and do it as you. So, you still as yourself, and in the end, you’re still work that on it yourself.”

“Ah.”

She finally understands.

“Bu….but, I,….”

She tries to deny it. But she knew, that’s useless.

“You’re right. It’s useless.”

I try to see the TV and watch the comedy show. But I cling to Onii-chan’s hand.

When she clings to my hand, I rub her hair.

“It has been a long day.”

I smiled when I rub my hair.

I hug him without a doubt

“I love you, Onii-chan.”

“Hey, hey. What’s wrong with you.”

“I don’t know. I just want to do that.”

I know. Because usually, at this night, I always alone. Yes, sure. Living alone is having it’s own merit, but mostly I’m alone. That’s why at this hour, most of the time I playing the game in my room to kill time.

Maybe, for some time, I was lonely.

I hug her back, squeezing ourself.

“I love you too, Touka. Even though it’s been 3 days.”

“Hey, for us it’s 3 days. But for the rest, it’s been our entire life.”

“I guess you’re right at that one.”

We laughed at that. A little thing, but it’s something.

I stop hugging him, and I ask, “So, do you want to play game, or just go to sleep?”

“Maybe, gaming for a little, then sleep.”

“Alright, but I want to sleep early.”

“That’s OK. I play the single player this time. Go on, get some sleep.”

I stand from the sofa and goes to my room.

“Alright, good night. Onii-chan.”

“I will, Touka.”

I close my room and go to the bed and make myself comfortable.

And for myself, I go to my room and sit in front of PC. But as soon as I want to turn on the PC, for some reason, I have no desire to play any game today. So, I decide to go to sleep as well.

Maybe because of Touka are already asleep?

Touka is closing her eyes, but she is not sleeping yet. She tries though.

OK, Touka. Good night.

She’s not answering. Maybe she wants to focus to fall asleep.

As soon I close my eyes. I drift off into the dreamland.

I can’t sleep. Even though I already try it, I still not fall asleep. I check the clock and it’s still showing 10.31 PM.

It’s not that late too. Maybe I can play some game. But, Onii-chan had already asleep.

I woke up and decide to go to Onii-chan’s room.

I open the door, and there he is. Sleeping in his bed.

Onii-chan face, is cute when he’s asleep.

I go to the bed, and sleep beside him.

When I go to get comfortable, Onii-chan is waking up a little.

Onii-chan said while half asleep, “Uh, Touka. Why are you……”

I cut him. So that, he’s not fully waking up because of me. I don’t want to do that.

“Hey, go to sleep. Tommorrow we have a class.”

“Alright, Good night, Touka.”

I sleep beside him, and I said back to him, “Good night to you too, Onii-chan.”

When I close my eyes, even though I’m not hug him or anything, I still feel his warmth.

I knew I need Onii-chan’s warmth. It’s comfy.

It’s morning, already. I wake up and I realize that Touka is sleeping beside me.

Oh my god. I still remember why I want to sleep beside myself last night.

Because I feel a sway to the bed, I woke myself.

“Gooo morni,…..nii-chaa..” I say that to him while I still half-asleep.

“Good morning, Touka.”

“Uumm….. ah!”

I startled because I just realize I just sleep with Onii-chan.

Oh my god!!! I never thought Onii-chan gonna wake up before me.

“Touka. It’s alright. Ummmm….”

Oh boy, even though she is still myself. But saying it in front of a girl is still weird.

“You can pamper on me, if you want. After all, I am your Onii-chan.”

Hearing that through Touka, makes my heart very happy.

Thus, I hug him. Very tight.

“Thank you, Onii-chan. You’ve already said it. No backsies.”

“Yeah, yeah. I know, and I wont.”

“Yeaaayyy.”

Because of Touka, my feeling is affected too.

I think this is fine. I just hope this kind of thing not makes things worse.

“Hey, are you listened what teach say?”

Kai ask me a wrong question to me. Of course I would say, “No. I don’t. But at least I know the subject is.”

“Ahh. You make learn at school easier than I thought.”

“Maybe if you are not run your eyes around through almost an entire session” Rina slap him with her insult. Classic Rina.

“Heeyyy. I’m not like that!”

*Class bell*

“Oh shoot. Wait, I’m not finished, yet.”

Rina “Then finished it off, fast before the teach is coming.”

“Yeh…yeh…” said Kai while munching his food fast.

I prepare my book for the history class.

But before the teach came, Kai gave me a paper note to me.

Wait, how the hell he eating that fast?

That aside, I opened that little note, that note content is simple;

‘When the next session before you back home, come meet me at the usual place first. No Rina, no Touka. I’ll meet you there’

What the hell he wants to talk about.

Well, maybe about an advice how to get close to his crush, Nina.

I give him a thumb up, right before the teacher is opening the class door. But at least Kai got my message.
