Chapter 693: The Titan’s Limits

Narrator: Sasha has taken a beating and now calls for the help of her strongest dark creature!

A large rock formation behind Sasha, who is still lying on her back after The Titan’s last attack, shatters as a summoning ring forms at the base. Ultensmite rises out of the summoning ring behind her. The large beast looks down at her and then forward in the distance at The Titan. Ultensmite begins making beast noises that Sasha can understand.

Sasha: “I’m okay for the most part. That giant is an extremely powerful form of someone I have found myself caring about. I want to defeat her without killing her. I need your help.”

Sasha finally begins to stand up again.

Ultensmite makes more noises.

Sasha: “You don’t think it’s possible? I think it is. We just need to shatter most of its stone skin. I’m certain that would revert her to her original self, not kill her.”

Sasha jumps on top of Ultensmite’s back.

Sasha: “Don’t worry. Despite this titan’s immense size, it's not on the same level of incredible power as Grant. We can do this.”

Sasha points forward as she shouts, “Let’s go!”

Ultensmite begins dashing forward in the direction of The Titan.

The Titan: “Where did this creature come from?”

The Titan readies its fist as Ultensmite gets closer.

Sasha: “It’s harder to dodge than it looks!”

The Titan attempts a one-two punch combo. Ultensmite jumps to the right and forward to dodge while Sasha jumps off Ultensmite’s back to the left and forward to dodge. Ultensmite uses its large claws to slash at The Titan’s leg, destroying some of the stone skin there. Sasha lands on The Titan’s abdomen and starts carving into its stone skin with her claws.

The Titan: (Groaning) “Leave us be!!!”

The Titan attempts to grab Sasha but she drops below and lands on Ultensmite’s back as it is running to the side away from it.

Sasha: “Great teamwork there! Let’s keep at it!”

The Titan uses its right foot to attempt to stomp Ultensmite but it jumps forward just in time to give itself enough of a boost to avoid the stomp.

The Titan: “Just leave us alone!! Why must you do this to us!?”

Sasha: “Give up on Ronzic and the pyramid! That’s the only way!”

Sasha: (Speaking to Ultensmite) “Let’s get behind it. Taking out the legs first will help.”

Ultensmite does a quick U-turn to head toward The Titan’s backside from its right. The Titan is ready and attempts to stomp Ultensmite again. Ultensmite jumps to the left to avoid it. Sasha takes the opportunity to jump off Ultensmite’s back to grab onto the backside of The Titan’s right leg.

Sasha quickly climbs up to the backside of The Titan’s knee. Sasha begins carving into it with her claws. Meanwhile, Ultensmite heads toward The Titan’s other leg.

The Titan: “Stop it!!”

Ultensmite jumps forward to slash the Titan’s left leg, breaking through some of its stone skin.

The Titan: “I said stop!!”

The Titan begins to lose its balance and starts to fall forward. It falls face down on the ground. Sasha and Ultensmite continue their assault on the backside of The Titan’s body by moving up to its lower back.

Sasha: “We’re almost done!”

As Sasha and Ultensmite begin tearing through The Titan’s lower back, its body begins to glow with blue energy seeping out of it.

Ultensmite makes noises.

Sasha: “I have no idea! We’re about to find out what this means!”

The Titan: “GET OFF!!!”

A blast of energy releases from The Titan’s entire body, significantly damaging Sasha and Ultensmite. The blast also blows them away back toward the large rock formations. They crash through more of the rock formations and shatter them. Noticeably, the release of the blast cracks more of The Titan’s stone skin. There is no longer any part of its body that doesn’t have at least a few cracks.

The Titan gets back on its feet and fully stands up.

Sasha coughs up more blood, but she is able to stand up.

Sasha: *coughs* “What are the limits of this form!?”

Sasha opens her eyes wide as she looks at The Titan again. The Titan has both of its arms pointed forward with its palms directed at Sasha and Ultensmite. The seeping energy starts concentrating in its palms.

Sasha: (Almost speechless) “…Oh no.”

Sasha looks at Ultensmite.

Sasha: (Yelling) “Take cover!!!”

Two blasts of energy are shot from the palms of The Titan’s hands that are heading straight for Sasha and Ultensmite, who are both trying to run to the side in opposite directions to avoid the blasts. Once the blasts hit the other rock formations in the area, they fully explode, blowing Sasha and Ultensmite away.

After releasing the blasts, The Titan’s stone skin starts cracking even more all over its body. The blue energy seeping out of its body also vanishes.

Sasha landed near some large rocks that were not hit by the blast. She scrapes the nails of her now bloody claw hands in the dirt. She lifts her upper body off the ground. Her left eye is half closed as she tries to get herself together after the blast. She breathes heavily as she stands up.

Sasha: *huff huff* “That form can do things like that too? I will have to revise the strategy.”

Sasha looks out toward The Titan. She opens her eyes wide as she notices all of the cracks throughout its body.

Sasha: “That’s a lot of new cracks. We didn’t do that. Were those blasts straining on its body?”

Sasha smiles.

Sasha: “I think I know how to finally end this.”

Narrator: The Titan is reaching its limits! What is Sasha’s plan to finally defeat The Titan!?
