New despair

Lust: "Haven't you changed your mind about humans?"

They were in a white void, facing an endless black wall. Zetsu was still injured.

Zetsu: "What, do you want me to choose a different realm?"

Lust: "I'm not talking just about humans as a species. All the realms in existence are here. Do you really want to destroy a random one just to gain power?"

Zetsu: "You said there was a way to extract their power with your magic."

Lust: "It still involves damaging countless universes."

Zetsu: "Do it."

Lust stared at her, seriously. Then, he took a vial from a portal and showed it to her.

Lust: "If you drink the essence of the universe, you will die."

Zetsu: "I won't die. You can heal me."

He sighed. He looked disappointed.

Lust: "I'm sorry."

Before she could respond, she was teleported elsewhere. She was in space again.

Lust: "I thought I could fix you. I won't let you destroy everything just because you feel like so."

She turned around, facing Akari, the God of Light who killed the Goddess of Illusion.

Zetsu: "What are you doing? Lust... Lust! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!"

Lust: "If you give up on your dream, we can still be friends."

Zetsu: "My dream?! That I want to destroy everything just for the sake of it? What do you have against that, huh?! Answer me, Lust!"

Lust: "Are you serious? You are a truly strange individual. Why do you hate everything so much?"

Zetsu: "What?! I thought you had the same goal as me! There's no need for a reason! I'm made of despair, just as you're made of lust! You're trying to protect humans because you want to fuck them!"

Lust: "Gods aren't meant to be one-dimensional, just like humans. You don't need to embrace your essence. You can become a better person. That's why everyone hates you, and me for following you."

Zetsu: "You can't be serious..."

Lust: "So, last chance. Do you want to give up on despair?"

Zetsu: "..."

Lust: "I'm truly disappointed. Goodbye, Goddess of Despair."

Akari aligned his white rings, facing Zetsu. She was at a clear disadvantage. He released a light beam that erased nearly half of that universe. Zetsu was hit and nearly died.

Zetsu: "This can't be how it ends... I want to live... I can't let this entity that doesn't even have a face kill me..."

She summoned her broken knight and tried to rip the white rings off Akari. They shattered, but then the sun shot out again, hitting the knight. Zetsu stabbed the star with her knife, poisoning it. At the same time, the knight punched the god. The impact would have been strong enough to reset that universe, but the star melted part of the knife and their fists.

Akari released an omnidirectional supernova that pushed her away. It fired millions of directed beams. Zetsu flew away with everything she had. Her speed exceeded the resistance of her body, which began to disintegrate. She managed to escape from that universe and then traveled through several other universes, finally freeing herself from the beams.

When she was safe, she stopped in space. After a long time recovering, she headed towards her new objective.

Zetsu: "Demi's main vessel... I can use him to get to the God of Observation... If I recall correctly, Earth is this way..."

She arrived on Earth after a long search. More precisely, in the United States. She stopped in front of a tourist bus, bleeding and standing out like a freak. Since it was free, they let her in. They were too afraid to treat her. She sat down and looked out the window.

Zetsu: "I am feeling so tired... I would probably die if I closed my eyes right now..."

They arrived at a futuristic military base. Zetsu got off the bus and headed straight to the base. A tall man was standing at the entrance. He had spiky gray hair and wore a gray uniform. Seeing her approaching, he shouted from afar.

Military guy: "Stop right there, this is a restricted area! One more step and the guns will shoot you down!"

She didn't stop. They fired at her, which did nothing. She kept approaching.

Military: "Last warning! If you don't turn around and leave, I'll fight you!"

A short man stepped out of some bushes, looking nervous. He had blond hair, wore sunglasses, and a red jacket. She ran towards the soldier.

Cool guy: "Tara, she's too strong for you!"

Tara: "And? At least I get to fight a worthy opponent."

Cool guy: "You don't get it! You'll die if you get in her way!"

Tara: "How do you know? Besides, I don't get to fight every day. This is a great opportunity to move my bones."

Cool guy: "Are you sure...? I'll leave you two alone then."

Tara: "Don't worry, I'll run away if things get too serious."

Zetsu kept approaching, hunched over and looking down. Tara jumped forward and struck her several times with precision, strength and speed. Seeing that it had no effect, he used a knife. She didn't budge. He took out his pistol and shot her in the head, which did nothing.

She kept walking, completely ignoring him. He became furious and kicked her away, throwing her a hundred meters away. She crashed into a fuel truck with a yellow tank. It didn't explode. He tried to punch her, but she jumped and kept walking.

He kicked several fuel trucks at her, exploding on contact. She kept walking. He tried to kick her again, but she grabbed his leg and chopped it off. He screamed in pain, but jumped away. He threw more fuel trucks, which she deflected with her fists, causing them to explode in his direction.

Injured, he still tried to punch her in the back, but his head suddenly disintegrated. The cool guy rushed to her.

Cool: "What are you looking for? I can help you. Just please... don't kill everybody here."

Zetsu: "Haoyu..."

Cool: "Who?"

Zetsu: "Track him down... he's Chinese..."

Cool: "A-Alright! Please wait just a moment..."

After a while, he handed her a monitor, showing his exact location. She vanished.

Cool: "She's not from this world..."

She arrived at K2, the second highest mountain in the world. Haoyu was there, in the beginning. He was climbing it with his blond friend. She approached him from behind and pointed her partially melted knife at the base of his head.

Zetsu: "God of Observation... if I kill him, the human realm's balance will collapse... Take me to the Central Universe, now!"

A portal opened beside her.

Zetsu: "What? Just like that?"

It seemed to lead to the Central Universe, the one she and Lust had been arguing about. She walked through it.
