14 - Four Months Later

On the rooftop of Toudou High, a very well known school that many families from the Yagiza district attend, a group of ten students enter inside, giggling amongst each other. One of the gal students took out a cigarette box and handed the other 6 students whereas Mary refused as usual but so did Charao and Yuno which surprised them.

Mary stood where she normally looked out at the city but Yuno and Charao joined her also.

One of the male students tried putting their arms around Mary's shoulder as they tried flirting with her but then a hand out of nowhere appeared and forced the student to put their arm off Mary's hand.

Mary smiled as she walked up and placed her arms around the students arm which was later revealed to be Takehaya's.

He asked, "Do you mind not putting your hands on my partner?"

The gals students immediately began blushing upon seeing Takehaya as they believed him to be a new student and they whispered among each other upon how they were jealous at how Mary snagged someone as him.

The male student responded, "My bad homie..." as he walked back to the other students.

They watched as Mary and Takehaya sat down next to each other on the bench. He took out a packed lunch that he made and said, "You forgot your lunch."

Mary smiled and chuckled as she took her packed lunch and said, "Thanks."

Over the past four months, a lot has changed as there has been zero Enigma attacks recorded which was surprising as it was also the longest duration ever to not have any Enigma attacks. Takehaya and Mary had taken their relationship more seriously and due to the influence that Takehaya's family had, Mary and Takehaya took the time during their early mornings and after schools to venture across different landscapes and areas that exist in the world that the Kami family originate and through it all, Mary admired them and thrilled at the adventure she dreamed for but what's best was that she got to experience it all with truly whom she truly grew to fall for.

Naoya and Ella were about to rebuild their relationship, despite the rocky moments and trust issues here and there.

Whereas Luna was working alongside her father Yu on business matter and after graduating from school, she'll be departing the islands and heading overseas to focus on expanding a small business that Yu had created for her that would specialise in techno-robotics and millitary security development.

Meanwhile, Takehaya was also taking the time off his once long schedule of doing minimum work to train Charao and Yuno as well as adapting to the five elemental abilities and despite the first few weeks being very challenging and rough, the three were quickly able to adapt their powers and there was potential for Yuno and Charao to join Takehaya, Naoya and Luna in battling any Enigma attacks.

Returning to Mary and Takehaya, they finished their lunch and with Charao and Yuno, they departed from the rooftop, leaving the remaining six students there to do whatever they wish to do.

Today was the day that they would finish their year and be moving onto the next years of their study and as the final bell rang, the four would gather around the Kami's residence along with some of Naoya's and Luna's friends as they were going to celebrate Luna's graduation day.

Yu was also there along with Jin as they wished for the best for Luna.

THE KAMI RESIDENCE

"Cheers!" Shouted the group as they raised their drinks and congratulated Luna.

"So...." said Takehaya, "How does it feel to be graduating?"

"Well to be honest, its a little sad but I hope to make sure I can make dad proud with the business overseas." Responded Luna.

"I understand that islands is your home, I believe your intellect and smarts are beneficial overseas as there may be chances of Enigma's appearing outside of the island." Yu said.

He pulled his three children together and said, "Just know that I am proud of you three for what you have done for the island and I hope you can carry on this legacy."

Ella then asked, "Aren't you going to retire soon, Mr Kami?"

Yu answered, "Not at the moment. There is still much that these three need to learn and it'd be unwise to give them the responsibility immediately."

"Fairly noted." Said Jin. "However, I have an announcement, if you do not mind?"

Luna shook her head, allowing Jin to speak.

Jin stood up and said, "Forgive me all but may I have your attention?"

Everyone turned facing to Jin.

Jin then spoke, "After many years of operating the local hospital, I have decided to step down as it is time that my daughter Yoko has agreed to take ownership. I wish to thank you all here who have taken then time to know me and support me throughout the years... I must say being former chief of police, this has been a more frustrating decision. Again I thank you all for the memories we have made."

Everyone began clapping while Jin bowed, showing his gratitude.

They all then heard metal clanking which caused them to stop and look for the source of the sound. They then saw a man in a cloak with metallic hands and upon seeing this, Jin, Yu and Takehaya immediately knew who it was.

"Katsura." Said Yu, sounding austere.

"To what do we owe the pleasure of your arrival here?" Asked Jin.

Katsura answered, his voice sounding gruffy, "I need to speak with you three..." with him referring to Yu, Jin and Takehaya.

"Very well... Lets go to the other room, everyone else please enjoy yourselves." Said Yu.

The three stood up and along with Katsura entered another room with Mary following behind and entering the room also, locking the door.

Takehaya said "Mary, you can't be he-"

But Mary interrupted him, saying "I'm staying."

"Let her stay." Said Katsura.

And with that, the four listened to what Katsura had to say.
