The Path Forward

The cool morning breeze caressed Ren's face as he walked alongside Aria along the path of their small seaside town. The sea, now calm, reflected a clear sky, and the sound of the waves seemed to mark the rhythm of his steps. Several days had passed since that embrace that had marked a turning point between them. Ren glanced sideways at Aria, who was walking beside him in silence.
