Chapter 7:

Dating invitations

High School The Mastermind

After feeling satisfied with the story she just heard, Iyuna walked casually while holding a soda can, sipping it slowly. Her slender fingers twirled the can, making the liquid inside swirl gently before taking another sip.
Because there were many vending machines along the sidewalk, Iyuna frequently scanned each machine with her sharp eyes. Occasionally she stopped to buy soda, her index finger pressing the button with precise, practiced movements. Until finally,
"Come here!" Someone said, a hand appearing from an alley, pulling Iyuna's arm into the corridor with quick, strong movements.
Iyuna was startled, her body instantly tensing, but her gaze softened slightly as she seemed familiar with that voice.
Indeed, the one pulling Iyuna was Rakha. Once again, he cornered Iyuna against the wall, his muscular arm blocking the exit, his warm breath felt caressing Iyuna's face. "What do you want?" Iyuna asked flatly, her back straightening against the cold wall behind her.
Rakha moved his face closer, the distance between them only a few centimeters, then stroked Iyuna's hair with his long fingers that contrasted sharply with the girl's pale skin. "Sorry for the sudden approach, but this is important," he said, his voice low and whispering.
Iyuna just stared without response, her sharp eyes unblinking as she looked at Rakha. She seemed to already anticipate what Rakha was about to say, her lips pressed tightly forming a thin line.
"Be my partner for tomorrow's double date," Rakha said, his chin slightly raised showing his seriousness.
"Double date?" Iyuna asked hesitantly, her eyebrow raised slightly forming delicate wrinkles on her fair forehead.
"That's right, with your classmates. Arga and Sherin," said Rakha, pressing closer to Iyuna, his body leaning forward making Iyuna more cornered, her back pressing harder against the wall, making Iyuna increasingly reluctant to refuse him.
Iyuna just stared blankly, her dark eyes appearing to shimmer under the dim light of the alley. She then smiled thinly, the corner of her lips lifting almost imperceptibly. "Everything according to plan," she monologued inwardly.
Indeed, from the beginning everything had been within Iyuna's plan. In short, first she made Sherin accept her challenge to get Arga to join the study group. She knew that Arga would certainly set conditions for joining the study group. The condition was that Sherin would date Arga. Iyuna knew that someone like Arga definitely had connections with Rakha and would suggest Rakha for a double date. Iyuna also knew that a cold guy like Rakha would certainly be intrigued by Arga's offer and accept it as a challenge. The first girl to come to Rakha's mind would definitely be Iyuna, and thus Rakha would certainly plead with Iyuna to accompany him on the double date. Now..., just the final step...
"I refuse," Iyuna answered flatly, her chin lifting slightly in defiance.
"No, you must accept it! I've already promised Arga I'd bring the girl I like!" Rakha said, his fingers gripping Iyuna's wrist even tighter.
"Huh!?" Rakha suddenly blushed momentarily when he realized he had said 'like,' his cheeks reddening in contrast to his usually pale face.
"N-No, no, so, you have to accept it! Is there anything I can do to make you accept?" He said again, his tone threatening yet pleading, his eyes shifting anxiously avoiding Iyuna's gaze.
"There is," Iyuna answered, her voice low and calculating.
"As the student council president, you surely have access to all students' data, don't you?" Iyuna continued, her eyes narrowing sharply observing Rakha's reaction.
"Yes, why?" Rakha said, his tone heavy trying to sound threatening, but his trembling fingers revealed his anxiety.
"I want that," Iyuna said firmly, her eyes threatening, her gaze straight and sharp.
"Th-that, for what?" Rakha asked hesitantly, his forehead deeply furrowed.
"Don't ask why. Do you agree or not?" Iyuna asserted again, her voice cold, freezing the air around them.
Rakha thought for a moment, his fingers stroking his smooth chin. "I don't even have edit access to the document, so I guess it's okay," Rakha monologued inwardly.
"Alright, I agree," Rakha answered, his shoulders dropping in surrender to Iyuna's request.
The ultimate goal of this plan was to gain access to all student and teacher data at High School All Things. With this, her goal was achieved.
"Good, it's settled. When will the double date take place?" Iyuna asked, her fingers fixing stray hair strands that fell in front of her eyes.
"Tomorrow," Rakha answered, then took out his phone from his pocket with quick, firm finger movements, and released his grip on Iyuna.
"Before that, I want to exchange contacts with you," Rakha requested, extending his hand.
Iyuna then took out her phone from her jacket pocket with slow, controlled movements. "Alright," she said, then handed over her phone. Rakha took it and entered his number, his fingers quickly typing on the touch screen.
"Done, I'll contact you later for the details, okay?" Rakha said, returning Iyuna's phone, his fingers briefly touching Iyuna's hand.
Iyuna took back her phone, carefully putting it in her pocket. "Yes," she answered briefly.
She then turned around, her body movements graceful, but her steps halted. "Wait!" Rakha called out firmly, his voice echoing in the narrow corridor.
"Tomorrow, act as my girlfriend! Understand?" Rakha demanded firmly, his eyes narrowing seriously.
"Understood," Iyuna replied flatly. She then walked out of the alley, her steps sure and measured, her black hair swaying gently on her back.
The next day, at the city park. Iyuna was standing leaning against a wall waiting for Rakha's arrival. Her body leaned casually, occasionally playing with her phone. She wore a light blue shirt with a dark blue short skirt, and a black jacket that contrasted with her pale skin. Clearly, she looked beautiful, her appearance attracting glances from several passersby.
"Eh? Iyuna!" Called a girl from a distance, running toward Iyuna, her steps small and quick, her brown hair fluttering in the wind.
Iyuna looked at the source of that voice, her eyes narrowing to see more clearly. Sherin was seen running toward her wearing a blue dress with a pinkish-red jacket that waved as she moved.
"What are you doing here, Iyuna?" Asked Sherin, her breath panting after running, her cheeks flushed red from physical activity.
"You?" Iyuna asked back, her eyebrow slightly raised.
Sherin flinched, her body suddenly tensing. "M-m-me? I'm just taking a walk!" Sherin denied, her fingers tapping nervously at her side.
"Really? Aren't you on a date with Arga?" Iyuna said, as usual, her tone flat, her eyes staring sharply observing Sherin's reaction.
Sherin jumped in surprise, her body stepping back, she became anxious, her hands playing with the edge of her jacket. "Huh? H-h-how do you know?" She asked nervously.
"I know everything you do," Iyuna said, her tone sharp, her body that was previously leaning now fully straightened.
"Y-yes, please don't tell Eid," Sherin pleaded, her hands gripping Iyuna's arm, her eyes teary.
"I-I'm doing this because it's the condition for Arga to join the study group," Sherin said anxiously, her voice low almost whispering.
"And also, he just asked for company on a date! Nothing else!" Sherin said, trying to convince Iyuna, her hands moving gesturing.
Iyuna just glanced at Sherin beside her without saying anything, her eyes coldly observing. "I never thought the usually calm class president could become this anxious. Well, this is partly my fault too..." Iyuna monologued inwardly.
"What about Iyuna? What are you doing here?" Asked Sherin tilting her head, her hair falling softly covering part of her face.
"Same as you," Iyuna answered flatly, her fingers fixing the folds in her skirt.
"On a date too, huh. With whom?" Asked Sherin, her eyes widening curiously.
"Rakha-Senpai," Iyuna answered flatly, her eyes staring straight ahead.
Sherin paused for a moment, her mouth slowly opening, her body freezing, "WHAAAAAAAAT!?"
