The entrance to the Manhattan military base was quiet—too quiet. Hidden under the veil of night, Yuvraj, the mysterious and stoic fighter known in whispers as the Time Phantom, stepped through the side access gate. Right behind him came the man known only as Mad Scientist Me—a wild-haired, half-laughing genius in a scorched lab coat with eyes that gleamed like cracked neon.
"Why did the robot break up with the nuclear reactor? Because it couldn’t handle the meltdown!" he joked, his whisper barely suppressing a snort.
Yuvraj glanced sideways, unimpressed. "Was that the part where I’m supposed to laugh?"
They made their way through shadowed corridors, hacking locks and disabling quiet alarms. After a few tense minutes of sneaking, Yuvraj’s hand landed on a dusty file. When he opened it, time seemed to slow. Inside was a photo—five people: four men, one woman. Their faces were blurred, as though reality itself rejected their clarity. Yet something gnawed at his mind. A pull. A crackle. A glimpse of memory that didn’t belong.
Dizzy.
His legs buckled. The world tilted.
Sirens shrieked—security breach.
Soldiers swarmed the base. The mad scientist tried to pull him back, but Yuvraj was frozen—mentally unconscious, stuck in some collapsing echo of déjà vu.
---
He woke up bound in chains, inside a cold interrogation cell in Munich, Germany. The scientist was tied beside him, still humming an old war song under his breath. A steel door opened. An officer stepped in with four soldiers. They looked at the two men.
The officer raised an eyebrow. "Is he your older brother? You two look alike...except this guy’s all muscle and madness with a rusty coat."
Yuvraj didn’t respond. He simply observed, his eyes sharpening, breath steadying. As they turned to leave, he tightened his fists. With a sudden shift of weight and a crack of steel, he broke his restraints using sheer martial discipline.
---
The escape was brutal and elegant. Blows landed with precision. Alarms wailed again. The mad scientist cackled as they sprinted toward the core room. They found the Nexus Reactor, humming with infinite energy. Military fools thought it was just a power source—but Yuvraj knew better. This was the ignition key for rewriting timelines.
As they disabled the core, a squad of elite soldiers rushed in. A brutal brawl broke out. Yuvraj moved like a phantom—dodging, striking, disabling. The scientist backed him up, throwing experimental smoke bombs and hacking doors mid-combat.
Finally, the alarm hit maximum.
"That... was COOL, Time Phantom!" yelled the madman, barely dodging a bullet.
Yuvraj shook off the dust. "I think my skills are a little rusty."
They gathered military gear, stole back what was once theirs, and activated the scientist’s portable multiverse portal.
---
With a flash of light, they vanished.
They reappeared in the freezing wilderness of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. Snow cracked under their boots. Volcanic mountains loomed around them, hiding the underground bunker once used by the Soviet army for war experiments. It was now their base.
The scientist didn’t wait. He sprinted toward his vaults and terminals.
Yuvraj glanced at him and muttered: "Take everything you need for the journey. It’s going to be a long one."
The past was shifting. The future was cracking. The multiverse had just been breached.
