Chapter 31:

The Discussion of the Two Realms

The Prince of the Otherworld becomes a Highschool Student

It had been almost a month since Japan was attacked by forces from the realm of Eon. But to the benefit of the humans staying in the city of the incident, Princes and a swordsman from the nation of Phirines immediately responded to the attack. Then to be followed by the King of Phirines, and the Lord of all Eternal Tribes.

The incident immediately became nationwide news. Politicians and the greatest minds on Earth wanted to talk with the people of the other realm. And so, with the planning of Phirines’ King, the date was scheduled.

The atmosphere was tense, as the leaders of most countries and Earth’s greatest minds were hosted on a massive stage and broadcasted worldwide. Then, they, began to walk up to the stage.

Phirines and their associate nations stepped up. The leaders were amazed at the different races that were shown, as the massive chair the organizers put in now made sense as the towering body of Kratirus was seen even beyond the stage. The first one that came was the swordsman who fought in the incident. He quietly made his way to the corner; his eyes peeled for any signs of danger. Next came the two princes of Phirines, who walked in with their fiances, a young girl who looked to be made of fire, and a hulking woman with six arms and four eyes.

The King of Phirines, a King who resembled the fire girl, and a Queen who looked like the multi-armed woman then stepped up, taking their respective seats. Then the last one, a boy with royal attire that paralleled his black hair and scarlet eyes. And a boy, that caused the eyes of a local Japanese girl to widen.

“Kei, it's your boyfriend,” Keiko remarked, as the Inoue family was watching the broadcast with peeled eyes. Kei’s parents were in shock, as Kei didn’t know what was real anymore. The unsuspecting boy she had fallen in love with was an interdimensional Prince?

But as Iscodaya stepped up to the mic, and all breaths were on hold, the screen above the people on stage suddenly brought up a photo. All that were watching were surprised, as Kei, turned bright red. It was the first photo in Iscodaya’s phone, the one Kei took for him.

But what came as a shocker, not just to the humans, but also to the Eonians, was when Iscodaya Kousa, the Demon Prince, smiled. “It was many months ago, when I first set foot on Earth. It was a chilly spring day, me and my servant, also my best friend, Kaus Irom, navigated the streets of this new world with only the help of a polite couple,” Iscodaya spoke in clear English, impressing the leaders of Earth. He then began to detail the life he lived on Earth, a little of the experiences he had, and the hospitality that was given to him.

Drano watched at the back, impressed at his son’s way of speaking. But what impressed him more was that Iscodaya was smiling a lot, he was making jokes that made the people around him laugh, and overall, he was way different than when he left Eon.

“But the most important thing I’ve learned from Earth,” Iscodaya continued, “Is that relations matter; they develop a person. When I arrived, I used to hate forming relations with anyone. But now, you could say, I formed some relations,” he winked.

Reading the subtitles, Kei couldn’t help but feel bashful, as even Keiko was impressed at his confidence in what he had just done. Most of Iscodaya’s friends laughed, while some sighed with a smile at the hint.

But when he had finished his joke, which some leaders enjoyed, he got back to the topic, “So that is why, I, as second Prince of Phirines, ask of you, leaders of Earth, to cooperate with us, nations of Eon, so that we can develop together.” Iscodaya bowed as claps rang out from the crowd.

The people of Earth were impressed at the speech and the fact that a high-standing Prince spent almost a year being a normal high school student. The favor had turned to the nations of Eon. And as Kratirus explained and apologized for the attack on the Japanese city, Drano showing the Earthlings their technology, and the other monarchs showing off their culture and powers, it began to be a certainty to the nations of Earth what to do next.

Most immediately asked for an alliance, while some asked for only the sharing of knowledge, but overall, it was a massive success on the part of the Eonians. They left the stage with a thunderous applause.

But while the other royals were discussing with the leaders of Earth, Iscodaya was trying to hide himself. He wanted privacy, and as he managed to change his clothes undetected, he brought out his phone.

“Hey, just finished, did you watch it?” He texted as he sent it to Kei.

She didn’t respond for a few seconds, but when Iscodaya saw her typing, he smiled, “Why are you texting me? Shouldn’t you be talking to more important people?”

Kei on the other line was on her bed, flustered and frustrated at Iscodaya, as she thought that he was using his time ineffectively. But then he sent her a message, “Yeah, that’s why I’m talking to you, you’re my most important person >3.”

Kei’s heart skipped a beat at his message, “You and your quick wit,” she verbalized before texting again, “I swear, what am I going to do with you? Also, you did the heart wrong, it's this <3.”

“Yeah, I know, just wanted you to send me a heart.” Kei screamed into her pillow as her legs were kicking her mattress.

“I swear this boy,” she talked to herself. But as she looked up again, she saw Iscodaya’s most recent message to her.

“Also, I won’t be in Japan for a few months, I’ll be traveling around Earth with my family and some royals. I’ll also be guiding the leaders here in Eon.” The text caused Kei to frown, for it had been almost a month since the two had seen each other, and now that time had extended.

“I see, well, I hope it goes well,” she replied, not wanting to be a needy girlfriend to Iscodaya. But Iscodaya didn’t want, and he made it known.

“Let's video call like, every few days, every day if it doesn't inconvenience you. I'll take you around with me when I travel. AND MAKE SURE TO CALL ME IN YOUR BIRTHDAY!! Put me in the corner of the room if you have a party.” The demands of the Prince kinda shocked Kei, but at the same time, she kinda expected this.

The young girl had a smile on her face as she texted, “If you say so. Are you sure you won’t be too busy? Mister Prince?” And just like normal, Iscodaya replied in his own way.

“You’re one of my highest priorities in making sure Earth and Eon get along. I’ll make you the first Earthling to be an Eonian Princess.” Though Kei expected a response like this from her boyfriend, she didn’t expect that exact wording.

The next few months went on and the two didn’t forget their promise. Iscodaya virtually took Kei with him through the rich rainforests of the Americas, where Daranya was beyond ecstatic, seeing all the new wildlife and flora. Then they moved to the history-dense Europe, where Iscodaya couldn’t stop looking and asking about everything. Then they went down to the breathtaking views of the African continent, something Senodaya really loved taking pictures of. After they went east, to the culture-packed continent of Asia, a place Drano and the royals really enjoyed.

The whole trip was broadcast on television, and many speculated and wondered who the person was the second Prince was constantly talking to on his phone. Almost in every frame he was in, the second Prince had his phone out, it became a massive meme and further connected the two worlds together.

But as he sat on the floor of his private hotel room, just laughing and talking on his phone. Kei never felt so loved as she was currently. For when the whole world was looking at Iscodaya, he was only looking at her.
