Chapter 9:

Episode 9

AWU Alliance

“WHAT?”

Everyone seems to be surprised by Ze’s revelation about his background.

“So, my hunch is right, you are a rich kid. But you don’t really act like a young master. You act like you’re a part of a mafia organization because of your colorful language.” Veena explained her thoughts when she saw the apartment complex where Ze lived.

“Just so you know, I don’t take a sh*t of my family’s money. I earned my rent for the apartment complex fair and square by being an intern in the company or doing part-time jobs. Besides, I have no interest in the battle of the successor since I’m giving it all up for my little sister.” Ze said and took a seat.

“Oho…Sounds like you dote on your little sister.” Shion has a smug look on her face as she looks at Ze

“Of course, I do! She’s adorable.” Ze replied with a proud grin that somehow made Shion look away from him.

‘That look on his face is not fair! Okay, my heart, calm down.’ Shion thought to herself as she tried to calm down her fast-beating heart.

“Okay, who’s next after Mad Sata-I mean Ze?” Shin said with a big yawn, his mouth wide open

“I’ve been meaning to ask this, why is Ze called Mad Satan?” Veena asked the same question the freshmen were wondering.

“It’s my turn now, and about the Mad Satan nickname for Ze, he practically earned it when he kept thrashing down some students and obviously, his colorful choice of words.” Eru explains to them and proceeds to stand up for her introduction.

“Yahallo! I’m Eru Leigh, and I’ll be seventeen by December. I’m a second-year student in Class Two. I don’t really know much about my dream, but I think my childhood dream is to be a bride. I’m excited to spend my sophomore year with you all.” By the time Eru mentioned her childhood dream, Shin blushed like crazy, and he was completely awake as if all the sleepiness had gone away in an instant.

Everyone in the room has a smug look on their face, eyeing Shin, who’s still red as a tomato. When Eru took her seat. It’s Shin’s turn, but the poor guy seems frozen in his seat.

‘Eru remembered? Wait, does that mean she remembered my proposal, although we were just kids?’ Shin thought to himself as a childhood memory resurfaced.

Eru started to worry, so she patted Shin’s shoulder to let him come to his senses, and he did.

“Ow! Shion, did you just step on my foot? It hurts, woman!” Ze cried out in pain, and Shion had a dumb look on her face, and she had absolutely no clue what Ze was saying

“It wasn’t me.” Shion waves her hand in denial

When Ze is about to retort, Shin stands up to say his introductions.

“Shin Wisteria. I’ll be seventeen by October. Sophomore in Class One. About my dream, as long as Eru is in it, then that’s fine by me.” Shin gave his introduction, and it was short and simple.

Ze whistled to tease Shin because Shin’s introduction made Eru blush this time.

“That was smooth.” Angi stated, and she couldn’t resist clapping

‘So, Eru is taken. I better be careful with my actions then.’ Bleex thought and remembered Eru is B cup-

“Ouch! What was that for, Ayumi?” Bleex rubbed his side while it was pinched, and Ayumi eyed Bleex with confusion since all this time she was busy listening to the introductions.

“Nevermind. I must have imagined it.” Bleex still wondered what the hell was happening because the pain he felt was so real, it couldn’t have been just pure imagination.

And the next member to introduce is…

“Heya! I’m Shion Ash. I’m happy to be part of AWU Alliance. I’ll be sixteen by this month of May. I’m a first-year student in Class One. I haven’t really thought of my dream, I just want to have a fun and peaceful life. Also, I’m so sorry Veena, our first encounter isn’t what you call a good impression.”

Shion said when she stood up, and Veena remembered the bag attack incident,t which intrigued the rest of the members.

“This again? I lost count of how many times we exchanged apologies for this.” Veena replied and shot a glare at Ayumi who was trying her best to hold her laughter but failed to do so. Bleex, on the other hand, noted to himself that Shion is close between B and C.

Then Lucas realized something and said, “D-didn’t Veena s-say she w-will be s-seventeen this m-month? But she’s a f-freshman?” Lucas is still stumbling on his words, and he’s relieved to speak up his thoughts.

“Huh… Lucas is right. Why aren’t you a sophomore, Veena?” Angi asked as Shion took a seat, and the rest of the members looked at Veena, waiting for her answer.

“Long story short, it’s because of health issues, so I took a break from school and got held up for a year.” Veena explained as she checked out her nails again.

The atmosphere suddenly got heavy and it seemed to be a taboo topic, so Angi quickly changed the subject in hand and stood up, knowing it was her turn for the introduction activity.

“Hi! I’m Angi Fortelejo. I just turned sixteen this New Year’s Eve. Veena, Shion, Lucas and I are all classmates in Class One as freshmen. My dream is simple, I just want to earn big cash someday without worries. Shion and I have been best friends as far as I can remember. I’m looking forward to spending my freshman year with you all.

Everyone applauds after Angi’s introduction, and from Bleex’s observation, Angi is almost a C.

Bleex noticed Ayumi’s piercing gaze at him. “Bleex, stop ogling at the female members and get started with your introduction. You’re next.”

Bleex cleared his throat and stood up. “I wasn’t ogling.”

“Whatever, get a move on.” Ayumi retorted and put a strand of her hair behind her ear.

“I’m Bleex Edward. I turned eighteen last January. Same class with Ayumi. My dream is to have my harem and meet all the gorgeous ladies in the wor-“

Ayumi cleared her throat as a warning for Bleex, and Bleex immediately understood this.

“Jokes aside, I just want to have a stable job and maybe somewhere along the way, I’ll find my happiness and have no regrets.”

‘So, Bleex can manage to be serious and have a decent dream.’ Everyone is thinking the same thing for Bleex

Everyone applauded after Bleex’s introduction and then eyed the very last member, who was practically sweating buckets out of nervousness.

Angi pat Lucas’ shoulder, getting his attention, and asked, “Lucas, are you good, bro?”

Lucas nodded slowly and stood up. His bangs are still covering his eyes.

“Hello, I-I’m Lucas P-Prince. I’ll b-be sixteen next month. S-same class w-with Veena, Shion and Angi in C-Class One. So far, I don’t have a d-dream but my g-goal is to o-overcome my shyness and have more c-confidence.” Lucas kept fiddling with his fingers then suddenly, Veena stood up and leaned over the table and she tried pushing back the bangs covering Lucas’ eyes.

This caught Lucas by surprise and he’s completely frozen by Veena’s action

“Veena! Some personal space, please?” Shion tugged Veena’s skirt but Veena ignored her and she’s just focused on Lucas

“The bangs have been bothering me for a while. If I look closely, you have a pretty face, Lucas. You have long eyelashes just like a girl.” With that comment, Lucas flinched and quickly sat down on his seat

Veena sat down as well and today’s club activity is over.

“Alright! Introductions are done so let’s have a fun year toge-“ Ayumi couldn’t finish her sentence when a voice interrupted her.

“No fair! Let me introduce myself too!” A sudden voice was heard and immediately alerted every member of the club.

“Who was that?” Veena looked around and Shion just tugged Ze’s shirt, practically shaking from fear

Then, the window suddenly opened by a gush of the wind

The members of AWU Alliance couldn’t believe their eyes because there’s something forming in the middle of the table and it turns out that it's in the form of a girl.

“Yahoo! Lily Mizuhara at your service! Tehee!” the said person winked and then everyone just looked at the mysterious being and everyone just froze in their seat.

-Meanwhile in the Student Council Room-

“Are we done with the files yet?” Jin asked his Vice President while his face was planted on the table.

“We could be finished by now if you just pull yourself together.” Iori replied to the President as she arranged the files in order for Jin to review.

The secretary, treasurer and auditor are already done with their tasks, so they went home earlier, leaving the vice president and president alone.

“I wonder…” Jin started to say something, and it made Iori curious since Jin was hesitating to say it.

“I wonder what? Out with it.” Iori said, didn’t even look at Jin, and just continued arranging the files

“I’m wondering how the club that Ayumi made was doing, that’s all.” Jin said as he lifted his head and started to review the files.

“Why? Is there supposed to be a problem?” Iori kept on doing her task without batting an eye at Jin

“Why did you think their club room was locked all this time?” Jin pointed out his thoughts, and Iori finally looked at Jin’s way.

Iori is contemplating what she’s going to say and finally dared to ask, “Why?”

Jin put down his pen and looked back at Iori.

“In that very room...” Jin answered with a serious face, and Iori suddenly felt chills

“And?” Iori urged Jin to continue

“Someone died.”
