Chapter 1:
Ai No Zecchou
In semi-crowded bar, full of murmurs and soft music playing, Oliver Tsuku, a beautiful tall young man is sitting at the corner of the bar counter.
He orders a drink, before running his hands on his dark hair. He looks at his watch and sees the time. 22:26. He thinks to himself "quite early" before the drink comes to him. As his blue-greened eyes meet the drink, he takes a big sip, then puts the glass away.
While everything of this was happening, Nika Aya, who was wearing a beautiful short white dress, scans the bar and spots our protagonist in the corner of her eye. As her gaze meets him, she has a noticeable blush in her face. She's smoothing her dress while walking towards him.
"Um. Hi there." She says, with a shy smile. "I'm Nika. Are you alone here? Do you mind if I join you for a drink?" As she blushes after this simple question.
"Uh... Yeah sure, sit down." Oliver said with a bright smile. "You look familiar" he said with a slightly confused, yet curious face. "Do I know you from somewhere?" He adds.
"Oh, um... I think we have seen eachother around campus. I'm taking psychology" She says while smoothing her dress (again) "What about you?" Nika added.
Oliver chuckles and says he's not in college anymore. Nika then apologizes for misunderstanding things, and Oliver then says it's not that big of a deal, while casually taking a sip.
Then Nika adds "So, what do you do then?" She asks curiously while running her hand trough her hair, making sure it looks good.
"What do I do now? Well, I got expelled from college for... Fighting a guy who was bullying a small kid, and now I work as a freelancer from home" he says casually, shrugging his shoulders, umbothered.
"That's amazing! You stood up for others, and it wasn't that much of a problem for you." She says with awe, as her amber-colored eyes sparkle. She takes a sip and also ends her drink.
Oliver notices she finished her drink, so he waves and orders another round, for him and for her. As they keep doing small-talk the drink is ready. The bartender slides the drink trough the counter, as it perfectly places in front of them. (lmao)
Nika then thanks him for the drink, and says she's not really used to drinking, but she'll open up a exception for tonight. She places her drink high, signing for a small toast. Their glasses clink.
She takes a big sip, and says: "I'm not usually this forward... But... You..." She says this and clears her throat, before changing topics. "Wanna play a game?"
Oliver looks at her curiously. "A game?" He asks. "What type of game you mean?"
"How about we ask simple questions to eachother? But we have to be honest." She thinks briefly before adding up "and if were not honest or we don't answer we have to... Do a shot!"
As she sees Oliver quite bothered by the game idea, she starts talking, trying to convince him to play with her "So, what's the most daring thing you've ever done?"
Oliver then thinks for a moment, and says "probably when I punched the principal in his face." He adds "He said to my mom that I was a bad kid and that she should get rid of me as soon as possible." He smiles, remembering it, before looking at Nika and seeing her with desiring eyes. "I got so mad that I punched him... I was only eleven at that time, and of course, got expelled from the school."
Nika tells him she likes how protective he is, even though he was only eleven. "That's intense." She said.
And now, it's Oliver's turn to ask her a question. So, he makes a simple question by asking her what does she thinks is her best physical trait. Nika claims that is a tough question, but then she says it's her eyes. "I've heard this a lot "The eyes are the window to the soul"... And I think they are quite pretty."
Oliver looks deeply at her eyes, before blushing and looking away with shyness, then, he clears his throat, before she asks her question.
"Have you ever had a secret crush on someone?" She asked Oliver. Then, he says to Nika "no, I never had a secret crush... Ok fine..." He sighs before he does a shot. "Wow, this is strong as hell!"
"Oh, so you did had a crush..." She smiles teasingly. "So you did had someone you wanted so bad you couldn't think straight" She slightly leans in closer before adding "it can be pretty exciting... The anticipation, the unknown... The lure of love... It can drive you wild." She bites her lips.
Oliver says they should move onto the next question as he is slightly blushing. He then asks "if you could change something, what would it be?" He asks this simple question, however, Nika takes it personally and says "I... I would change the fact that I've never told the guy I loved in high-school how I felt..." She says quickly before blushing and looking away with shyness. "There I said it." She let's out a small sigh.
She then gets up and tells Oliver she needs to use the WC. He says alright and orders another drink for himself and her. As she walks away, she thinks to himself "I just made a simple question... I wasn't expecting it... If it was me I'd say like... Stop wars or something..."
After some minutes, Nika comes back and says she met an old friend so she had to do some small talk. Both of them drink more of their drinks.
She proceeds to ask if he is going to do something tomorrow. Oliver thinks for a quick moment before saying he won't. He asks her why and she replies "I don't know... Maybe we could... Grab dinner together or something..." She says with visible shyness across her face.
He agrees, and says "Eh, why not, you seem like a nice girl" with a smile across his thin lips. "But do you need to leave already? I can take you to your home if you need."
"No, no! I don't need to leave already" she says quickly "but, I was thinking that maybe we could go to that nightclub across the street. Please?" She asks with an unsure look in her face.
Oliver glances at his watch and says he's fine with it. As both of them get up, Oliver notices something on Nika's hair. "Hold on, don't move" he gently places his hand on her dark brown hair, before removing a small white thing on her hair. "Let's go?" He asks.
