Chapter Six: Morning Chaos and the Routine of Life

After an unknown amount of time, sunlight floods Lucy's room with warmth. A spacious, tastefully decorated room; A spacious, silky bed, pure white, with curtains that let in golden rays of sunlight. Peace and tranquility pervade the space.

Beep...beep...beep...

The sound of the alarm clock breaks this peace. For a moment, Lucy seems to ignore it, but seconds later, the alarm suddenly shatters. Lucy's final touch is powerful enough to destroy it. The final blow comes from the rugby ball bat that was beside the bed.

Lucy sighed, her long black hair disheveled and hanging around her face. She was wearing wrinkled white pajamas. She stood up with difficulty, as if she was trying to gather her strength from deep within. She looked like a zombie, barely able to open her eyes.

She crawled into the bathroom, whispering a prayer in a hoarse voice. She splashed cold water on her face, trying to rouse herself. Then she grabbed a toothbrush and began brushing her teeth in earnest. Afterward, she enjoyed a warm bath, allowing her tension to gradually melt away.

She emerged from the bathroom, her face brighter. She approached her massive wardrobe and slowly opened it. Suddenly, a pile of assorted alarm clocks fell on her. Lucy looked at the pile and sighed again.

"(Mumbles) This is number 101... Oh my God!"

She ran down the stairs as fast as she could, ignoring any safety rules. As expected, she lost her balance and fell. But before she hit the floor, she felt two strong hands grabbing her.

"Lucy! Are you okay?" Adam asked, worried.

"Yes, fine," Lucy replied, smiling shyly. "Thanks, Adam."

"Always, Lucy. But why are you running so fast?"

"I'm late! I want breakfast!" Lucy shouted, jumping up and down.

"Okay, okay. But be careful."

"Carry me! Carry me on your back!" Lucy demanded, tugging at Adam's shirt.

"What? You're not a little girl, Lucy!"

"Please, Adam! Please! Please!" Lucy pleaded, her eyes puppy-dog eyes squealing.

Adam sighed in resignation. "Okay, okay. But only if you're quiet."

"I promise!" Lucy squealed happily, jumping onto Adam's back.

Adam and Lucy arrived at the dining table, where the Moroi's wife had prepared a delicious breakfast. Lucy sat down on the chair and began to eat greedily.

A few moments later, Ryan arrived. Ryan and Lucy exchanged sharp glances, and an argument began immediately.

"Give me this!" Ryan shouted, trying to take a piece of bread from Lucy's plate.

"No! This is mine!" Lucy retorted, swatting Ryan's hand away.

"You eat everything! Leave something for us!"

"You're always complaining!"

"You're the annoying one!"

"You're the idiot!"

"You..."

The Moroi's wife interrupted them. "Enough, boys! Stop fighting! This morning is too early for that."

"But she started it!" Ryan said, pointing at Lucy.

"I didn't start anything!" Lucy replied, rolling her eyes.

Moroi sighed. "I really need another cup of coffee."

Despite the chaos and turmoil, there was something warm about this scene. This was their life, chaotic and unpredictable, but full of love and laughter.
