Chapter 30:

Episode 30 - Shota’s Singapore Business Trip (Part 2)

My Telekinetic Office Lady Girlfriend Is Way Too Powerful!

The Day Before Departure

Ryoko declared that Shota must take the day off—for the sake of her "Shota battery recharge." She forced him into baby mode until the very last minute before his departure, pampering him to the extreme.

“You’re my baby today, Shota-kun. So you’d better charge up properly before you go~ ♡”

Shota was enveloped in even more tenderness than usual. Ryoko held him close, spoiling him not just for his sake—but to ease her own heart.

Departure Day

Haneda Airport. Shota’s boarding time was approaching. Ryoko looked uneasy as she saw him off.

“Be careful over there, okay? I’ll be thinking about a punishment for when you come back ♡”

Business Trip: Day 1–7

Every day, they chatted via web meetings.

“Are you eating properly? No strange women trying to talk to you, right?

“I’m eating fine! And no, no one’s tried anything!”

Just seeing Shota’s face gave Ryoko relief, but little by little, stress built up.

She could still faintly sense Shota’s emotions using her hormone-tuning ability—but that only made her more anxious.

As much as she wanted to, flying straight to Singapore wasn’t realistic…

Battery Level: 110% → 50%

Business Trip: Day 8–11

Ryoko kept going to work, but her mood visibly worsened by the day. At first, it was just her scowling a little more—but soon, her bad mood began to affect everyone around her.

On the morning of Day 11, the office atmosphere was ominous.

“...Is it just me, or is the vibe in here really tense today?”

“I saw Mr.Yamada just snap at someone… and he’s usually super calm.”

“It’s not just that. The printer keeps jamming, the PCs are freezing... something’s seriously off.”

As chatter spread, Ryoko sat at her desk, glaring at her phone. The message she had sent Shota was still unread.

(Maybe he’s busy… or did something happen…?)

A terrible feeling gnawed at her. Her unease steadily grew, and as if drawn to her emotions, office equipment began malfunctioning at an alarming rate. The air conditioning changed settings on its own, the shredder activated by itself, and finally—the office lights began flickering erratically.

Then, the department head casually muttered:

“I wonder if Shota-kun’s doing okay over there.”

In that moment—

“...!”

A jolt like lightning shot through Ryoko. Her hand clenched reflexively.

Crack.

A foreboding sound echoed somewhere.

“Huh?”

Everyone turned to look. A small crack had formed in one of the office windows.

“What the—was that an earthquake?”

“No, the ground didn’t shake…”

“Wait… could this be... Ryoko-senpai…?”

Uneasy murmurs rippled through the room. Ryoko whispered quietly:

“If something really did happen to Shota-kun… I might just erase this company from existence.”

The moment those words left her lips—

Zzzzap!

Sparks burst from the office lights, and everything went dark.

“KYAA!!”

“A blackout!? What’s going on!?”

Screams and chaos echoed in the pitch-black office. Snapping out of it, Ryoko quickly activated her memory-cleaning ability. She closed her eyes, and a mist-like energy spread through the room. One by one, the employees blinked, dazed.

“...Huh? What were we just talking about?”

Normalcy returned.

—But the crack in the window remained.

Ryoko stared at it, biting her lip hard.

(If Shota-kun were really gone… I…)

Sensing that something truly dangerous might happen, Ryoko quietly left the company.

Battery Level: 40% → 10%

Business Trip: Day 12–13

Ryoko didn’t go to work. She shut herself in at home.

Shota, unable to reach her, grew worried.

Meanwhile, Ryoko’s condition rapidly deteriorated.

A small attempt to reach for a cup accidentally launched the entire shelf across the room.

Trying to suppress her powers only worsened the strain on her brain. Even standing became hard.

She could no longer sense Shota’s emotions. And that—terrified her.

“I don’t know what he’s thinking anymore…”

Eventually, her mind grew hazy.

She collapsed onto her bed.

“...Come home soon… Shota-kun…”

Those were the last words she spoke.

Just one more day until Shota’s return.
