Darkstar and Goldenstar's past, Part 6

"Erm... h-hello..." Darkshade squeaked, blushing really hard, Lightwave blinked, "Oh StarClan-" He said, then started walking the other way. Darkshade sat there, stunned.

Lightwave kept walking away, Darkshade blinked, hurt, then just walked away. 

...Moonhigh... Larkstar leapt onto the highrock, "All cats who are old enough to swim and catch their own prey, gather beneath the great rock!" He yowled, Goldenshade and Tidewhisper were the first cats to arrive. 

Darkshade dragged herself to the gathering, Goldenshade gave her a death glare. Then other cats started arriving, 

"I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of TideClan is Tidewhisper!" Larkstar declared, the cats started chanting Tidewhisper's name.

Tidewhisper felt a spark of pride. Goldenshade nuzzled up against Tidewhisper. Darkshade scoffed, "I promise you, with the coward he is, he wouldn't last until you joined StarClan..." She muttered, 

Goldenshade stared at Darkshade, shocked and horrified at what she just said. Larkstar looked as equally as shocked and horrified. Tidewhisper snapped, "At least I'm not as ill-mannered and cruel as you." Tidewhisper hissed at Darkshade. 

Darkshade lunged at Tidewhisper without thinking, claws unsheathed. Ashflower and Redlight pinned her down in time, while Darkshade was cursing angrily at them. Larkstar jumped off of the highrock, "Darkshade, my den, NOW." Larkstar hissed, Ashflower and Redlight got off of Darkshade. 

Darkshade rolled her eyes and followed him to his den, after they got to his den, Larkstar sat and let out a frustrated sigh, "What in StarClan is wrong with you Darkshade?" Larkstar asked her calmly. Darkshade snapped, 

"Why don't you ask my arrogant sister?" She replied coldly, Larkstar sighed, "I'm not talking about Goldenshade, I'm talking about you."

"WHY DON'T YOU SHUT THE HECK UP AND EAT CROWFOOD THAT'S BEEN FORGOTTEN FOR YEARS?! THEN NOW YOUR MOUTH WILL STING WITH THE SOUR STENCH OF IT AND THEN NO ONE WILL WANT TO LISTEN TO A WORTHLESS AND IDIOTIC LEADER LIKE YOU!"

Larkstar was mortified at what Darkshade said.
