Chapter 44:

Darkstar and Goldenstar's past, Part 7

A Prophecy Of Night And Sun

"You dared to disrespect me?" Larkstar asked, Darkshade rolled her eyes so hard that they would've fallen out,

"Obviously, you deserve it since you make decisions that aren't going to make this clan much better." She hissed lowly, then walked out of the den.

Larkstar was left sitting there, with an expression mixed with worry, confusion, and anger. His son Tidewhisper walked in, "Did she say why she was upset?" Tidewhisper meowed, "No, but she questioned my leadership..."

"She needs to be punished." Tidewhisper declared, then started to leave, then heard a yell from the clearing, it was Goldenshade's voice.

...Literally 5 seconds ago... Goldenshade walked up to Darkshade, "What has happened to you?" She asked, "Nothing......" Darkshade mumbled. Goldenshade got an idea, "Let's go for a walk." She said,

"I don't want to..." Darkshade mumbled, "LET'S GO FOR A WALK!" Goldenshade yelled at her sister.

...The present... Larkstar and Tidewhisper stared at the entrance of the den, blinking rapidly. Goldenshade then went on a walk with her sister, or, I don't know if she could call Darkshade a sister, more of an enemy to her.

Darkshade was 6 feet away from Goldenshade, "Soooooo... um..." Goldenshade said, as she was about to speak, Darkshade cut her off,

"There is NOTHING to talk about..." Darkshade said in a hard tone of voice. Goldenshade was shocked.

"....."

The sisters stayed silent. Then Goldenshade spoke, "I... I'm sorry for yelling at you..." Goldenshade said softly, "I DON'T WANT TO TALK, OKAY?! THAT WAS THE FREAKING DEAL, WE GO ON A WALK, NO CONVERSATIONS WHATSOEVER." Darkshade hissed,

"Oh, so you want to stay quiet, for me to shut my freaking mouth?" Goldenshade snapped back. Darkshade moved closer to her until their flanks were pressing and yelled in her ear,

"MY POINT EXACTLY!"

Goldenshade moved away from her, "Oh okay... I get it noooooow..." She retorted, "So, you are saying you hate me and don't wanna talk to me for the rest of your whole, miserable life?" Goldenshade snapped,

"Yes, at least you got one thing right in your life..." Darkshade mumbled. Goldenshade ran away and stuffed her face in some moss to muffle her frustrated scream, Darkshade heard her and smirked. Goldenshade then walked back to where Darkshade was, her face was red and she looked like she would explode with rage,

"You are lucky that you are still alive..." Goldenshade grumbled, her sister giggled mischievously.
