Darkstar and Goldenstar's past, Part 8

"I am more skillful than you." Darkshade purred, then bolted off. Goldenshade ran after her.

Darkshade stopped at the lake and smirked, as Goldenshade was about to charge into her, Darkshade moved over and Goldenshade fell into the lake. Goldenshade tried to keep her head above the water, but her body was getting dragged under the water because of her panic.

Darkshade was on the ground laughing, she though it was funny to see her sister struggling. Meanwhile, Goldenshade was screaming at the top of her lungs for Tidewhisper to come and save her,

"Goldenshade, your being dramatic!" Darkshade laughed, "IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO SWIM! Right?" she boasted as she slowly got into the lake to help her sister. Darkshade then grabbed her sister from behind, Goldenshade let out an ear-piercing scream. Darkshade ignored it and swam to shore, meanwhile, her sister's scruff was in her jaws.

Darkshade threw Goldenshade onto the shore and got out of the lake, then shook herself off, Meanwhile Goldenshade was traumatized for life. Darkshade stared at her traumatized sister, "That teaches you not to chase me." Darkshade huffed, Goldenshade glared at her sister wide-eyed,

"...YOU LITERALLY TRIED TO DROWN ME!" Goldenshade hissed, Darkshade grabbed her sister by the scruff and dragged her over to the shore, after that, Goldenshade was screaming again. Darkshade was nonchalant, "Goldenshade, stop being dramatic." She huffed again,

Goldenshade stared at her sister, "HOW ABOUT YOU GO FOR A SWIM, SEE HOW IT FEELS!" Goldenshade yowled, then her jaws clamped onto the back of Darkshade's throat, and she pulled her down. Darkshade yelped. Goldenshade then got on top of her sister and threw her into the lake, Darkshade floated on top of the water-surface, she was glaring at Goldenshade.

Goldenshade stared in disbelief, then broke down crying, "STARCLAN HATES ME!" she sobbed. Darkshade swam back to shore and stared at her sister, "My fur is waterproof, and plus, I'm a black maine-coon cat." she said bluntly.

Goldenshade looked at Darkshade with puffy eyes, "My point exactly!' the golden-colored she-cat sniffed. Darkshade rolled her eyes, "Well, I guess you need swimming lessons..." she snickered. Goldenshade hissed, she would have been intimidating... if she wasn't still wet and glued to the ground, "IT'S NOT FUNNY!" she yowled.

Just as Darkshade was about to reply, Ashflower ran over and hissed, "YOU TRIED TO DROWN YOUR KIN!" she hissed, Darkshade blinked, "I hope Tide-" she began, then got cut off by the sight of Tidewhisper and Larkstar walking out of a near by bush. Tidewhisper looked horrified, while Larkstar looked disappointed in Darkshade, 

"...."

Darkshade tried to explain, but Tidewhisper shut her up, not wanting to hear more than he should. Darkshade's ear fell back, Ashflower glared at her with disgust and hatred, while Larkstar was mostly disappointed. Goldenshade was just lying there, hearing everything, she dared not to move,

'...W-well she kind of deserves punishment since she tried to drown me...'

Goldenshade was shut off from the world, stuck in her raging thoughts. Tidewhisper shoved Goldenshade and that's when her thought ended, "Are you okay?" he asked, 

"Ye-yeah..." Goldenshade said. Tidewhisper sighed with relief. Meanwhile, Ashflower was dragging Darkshade back to camp. Larkstar was following Ashflower, Tidewhisper decided to spend time with Goldenshade. After the time was spent, 

Goldenshade was now expecting kits.
