Chapter 3 - Dad?!

Nékridhal, a child prone to powerful emotional outbursts, is throwing a tantrum in the blue tower, demanding a "dad" his cries escalate from quiet whispers to shouts, even causing accidental teleportation of dolls and melting of tea his shadow dances wildly, reflecting his inner chaos Saphira, his mother, descends the stairs with an artificial serenity that barely masks her divine exasperation. Nékridhal turns to her, ready to unleash his dream tentacles, and reiterates his desire: "I want to play outside. With a dad, a real one, with a beard." after a tense silence, Saphira sighs and offers to create a dad for him, just for playing. Nékridhal, ever the negotiator, presses her: "With a beard?"  she grimaces but agrees he continues, asking if this dad will yell (no) and if he'll bake cookies (yes) finally, he asks if this dad will look at his drawings, and  Saphira slowly nods satisfied, Nékridhal calms down, accepts a "mental sugar vortex" hug, and dashes off to his room to prepare his "imaginary dad welcoming ritual n°1.". Saphira sits against the wall, murmuring, "Dad, huh..." she wonders if a story reading dragon wouldn't be easier. However, deep within her divine heart, an old wound stirs she closes her eyes and agrees to create the dad properly, but with a warning anyone who calls her "the apocalypse's single mom" will be transformed into a cosmic seagull.
