Chapter 73:
Saphira Noctielle
Waking in the Azure World
Light filters through a curtain of blue lightning in a chamber suspended between two clouds. Saphira Noctielle slowly opens her eyes she sleeps in a floating bed, surrounded by cosmic dolls whispering forgotten lullabies by her side, a peaceful silhouette: Nékridhal, her son, sleeps deeply. In his calm form, he resembles an almost human child except for the fragments of sleeping nightmares protruding from his back, and his breath vibrating with pieces of dark dreams Saphira (in a low voice): "You are my son. but also the cradle of night. Today, I want to offer you a simple day." She kisses him on the forehead in the suspended kitchen, flying objects prepare breakfast: celestial chocolate, sweet comet toasts, fruits from the memory tree. Saphira floats slightly as she prepares tea, still wearing her gothic dress, her long blue hair drifting in a gentle static storm. Nékridhal arrives yawning, holding a black plush toy made of shadow threads Nékridhal: "Mama can we go to the world of people today? " Saphira: " Not today, my love but tomorrow, perhaps. you're still unstable." the day unfolds in the Azure World City, a suspended kingdom where every building is made of condensed storms. Saphira holds Nékridhal's hand, walking among stalls of dimensional toys, greeting the tower guards who bow before her Guardian: "Blue Queen, the throne awaits you if you wish to preside." Saphira: "Not today. Today, I am just a mother." at the end of the day, they sit on a suspended balcony, contemplating the eternal blue storm Nékridhal: "Mama do you think I could someday dream without hurting anyone?" Saphira gently wraps her arms around her son, a soft blue aura enveloping them. Saphira: "Yes, my treasure because you are not just nightmare you are also the child of lightning and lightning carries light even in shadow."
