Who are you?

Kevin DeRodlerra Caermia has blonde hair and beautiful purple eyes that can drown people in its dreaminess. He is a total gentleman. On the other hand, the heroine of the novel ‘A typical story of a prince’ has jet black eyes and long hair, just a typical Asian girl. As the title, the story is a typical fantasy-romance novel. Nothing special. And then there’s a typical reader of this story.

“Argh… just how I thought it would be, a typical story of a girl being reincarnated in a novel. But these stories always hit the mark for me.”

Miyoko is a high school student. She is popular at school for her appearance. But at home she is titled as good-for-nothing. Her parents are both famous celebrities. So she got the pretty genes naturally. But that’s it. And because of that, her perfect at everything family members just simply ignore her. Her older sister is renowned a news anchor and her older brother is a popular actor. But on the other hand Miyoko is just a dumb student and doesn’t even have any talent.

“I’ll leave this shitty place after becoming an adult.”

“We’ll see that,” said her family.

There’s still a year left for Miyoko to become an adult. But she spends her whole day by just reading novels and comics. There’s literally no novels unknown to her. And as a result, she also dreams of being reincarnated like the lead characters from novels. But that can’t be nothing more that a dream of a teenager.

One day it was Miyoko’s turn to clean the classroom and as a result she got a bit late to return home that day. But being late wasn’t anything new to Miyoko. So she just decided to grab a bite from a chicken place near her school on the way home.

“It won’t kill to be a few minutes late.”

While eating her chicken in the chicken place by the window she noticed a girl looking around suspiciously. Assuming she was a potential thief, Miyoko simply starts tailing her. Though she should have just called the cops, the fascinating view of a thief made her totally forget the need of doing so and she just simply kept following the girl.

“I just saw you snooping around the stores. You are a thief right? What are you trying to steal?”

But just after saying that, a sudden image popped up into her mind. The novel she finished that day had a description of the lead roles and this girl’s looks eerily matched the description of the female lead of that book.

“What are you doing here your highness, sir Kevin?” said the girl.

Hearing that Miyoko got confused and started to look around her to see if anyone was there.

“Hey who are you? What are you talking about? Are you trying to fool me now that I’ve caught you red-handed? I just should have called the cops on you immediately.”

“What are you saying your highness? Did you forget about our mission? About why we came here?”

“What are you talking about?”

Right then the girl grabbed Miyoko’s hand and started running to a dead end.

“What do you think you’re doing?”

But the girl wasn’t paying any attention to what Miyoko had to say and started saying something really weird in some kind of alien language.

But then suddenly a really dark spinning hole appeared on the wall out of nowhere! And there she jumped holding Miyoko’s hand while Miyoko shockingly choking her last piece of chicken nugget.
