Chapter 3:
Through Your Lens
It is late afternoon on a Friday. Classes have ended. Weekend comes up next, a perfect time to hangout with friends, family, or someone you love. Somewhere down the street walking toward a coffee shop, the awkwardness from earlier slowing fading in.
“What made you join the club? Is it because I asked you to?” she casually asks him.
He replies, “"No, no... I was planning to join a club in the first place, but I didn’t know which one."
While smiling “Not familiar much?”
He nods. “Kind of.”
As they are walking down the street having a casual conversation. They have reached the coffee shop, packed with people coming in.
“It is packed in here haha.” She said, “What do you want to get?” She asks him.
Knowing myself a fan of strong coffee, I will get an americano. “I will just have an Americano.” He replied to her.
“Do you prefer strong coffee? She asked.
He chuckled and said “You could say that.” “How about yours?”
“I prefer latte on some occasions.” Her reply.
They ordered their coffee, waiting in line. Few minutes passed and they grabbed their coffee. Sitting down on a nearby table, a good location to take a few shots.
“Hey, you wanna know how I fell in love with photography?” She asked.
He nodded.
"I loved photography ever since middle school. I started with phone cameras, and on my birthday I got gifted a camera. At that point, I started pursuing it even more."
“Do you mind if I take a few photos?”
He nodded, “Sure, do you post them on fastgram?.”
She smiles, “Yeah I post them there, I get quite a decent amount of reactions haha.”
The cozy music playing around the cafe, setting a relaxing mood for the customers. The awkwardness completely disappeared like nothing happened back then. Enjoying their coffee while taking photos.
“Hey mind, do you mind if I take a picture of you?” She asks him.
He only nodded, she immediately took pictures of him.
Snaps
Snaps

She finished taking photos. “You look good.”
He laughs, “I don’t believe that.”
He insists that he is not good looking, so she opens her camera roll to show him how he looks. She laughs, ”A photo doesn't lie.”
He slowly turns red, as she says that.
The quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the coffee shop goes on as both of them enjoy their coffee as they talk with each other.
They finished drinking their coffee, with the sun almost going down. Walking to the station together while watching the sunset. The sun sets as they walk together to the station. Boarding the spacious metro on their way home after a tiring day. They got separated at their station he heads for exit 1, while she heads for exit 2.
They said their goodbyes.
“I’m on the way home. See you on Monday again.”
“Take care.”
The sound of the metro echoes in, as the moonlight starts to glow. Both walking down their way home.
