The Guardian Spirit’s voice echoed:

Angeline closed her eyes.

🌌 First Trial: The Nameless Space
When she opened her eyes, she was no longer in the temple.
> Angeline stood in a pitch-black space, without sky, without ground.No direction. No sound.And yet… she could hear herself.
> The voice of her childhood.The laughter of those who mocked her.The moment her father was taken for protecting their kind.
> “You’re just a foolish cat. You’ll never be strong enough.”
Suddenly, hundreds of eyes opened in the darkness.The shadows of people who had belittled her appeared one by one, whispering:
> “Weak.”“Pet.”“Stupid beast.”
Angeline fell to her knees, her chest tightening.
But then… she clenched her fists.
> “I know you… You’re echoes of the past.But I’ve already surpassed you.”
With a single cry, her body ignited with wind aura.The shadows exploded into dust.
⏳ Second Trial: The Choice of Time
Now, she stood in Eldrave Forest — but not in the present.
> She saw herself: a nine-year-old child, hiding and crying as her home was burned by elite mages.
The Guardian Spirit appeared beside her.
> “Take the Voidstep now… and you can enter this past.You can save your family.But you’ll never return to your present.You’ll lose everything you’ve achieved.”
Angeline was silent. Her eyes shimmered with emotion.
> “If I save them… they might live.But I would no longer be who I am.”
She gripped her katana — and turned her gaze away from the painful scene.
> “They wouldn’t want me trapped in regret.They’d want me to move forward.”
With that step… the realm shattered into shards of light.
💠 Third Trial: The Final Step
Now she stood in the space between dimensions — a corridor without end, suspended among stars.
Before her stood the Voidstep Gate — a giant mirror.
But the reflection… wasn’t her.
> She saw another Tabaxi — a slim young man with eyes just like hers.
“Who… are you?”
> “I’m one of the first who attempted the Voidstep. My name is Khalen.I failed. My soul was trapped here.But I don’t regret it.Because I knew… a true Tabaxi would come. Someone like you.”
> “But to open the Voidstep,you must step into this mirror — and believe that space is no longer your limit.”
🌀 Voidstep Activated!
Angeline stared at the mirror.
She took a breath, then began to run.Her steps were light… then fast…Then unseen.
As she touched the surface, her entire body vanished without a trace.
🌕 Return to the Temple
She reappeared at the center of the stone circle — kneeling, gasping for air.
The Guardian Spirit welcomed her with a calm voice:
> “You have succeeded.You now inherit the Voidstep —The step between spaces. Not speed.But movement through nothingness.”
> “But remember, Angeline Ceu...This power will make the arcane world tremble.And you… will become a target from every side.”
