Chapter 01 part 2: Dear Mom, they hate me

Sound of door being knocked. The sun already up, sound of birds chirping. The feeling of cold morning with refreshing breeze filled the room and kiss my all over body.

“Its already morning, Youichi-sama, Kouji-sama..” from the sound of the person on the other side. Most likely it’s woman, its one of maid from yesterday maybe.

Well from our side we don’t have many experience with table manner of other country than japan. But, i guess we done well. Even though Mia look quite nervous and look at me pleaded for help. I can’t be helped and i feed her as expected she flustered but still eat it anyway. How cute i want to cuddle her and never let her go.

After finish feeding my cute Mia-chan, four of us being guided to throne room. Inside there’s Toa setting some crystal like device helped by few other. Toa notice us and smile brilliantly. Suddenly wild nobles appeared, walking toward us with disgusting smile.

“Good morning. Kouji-sama, Mia-sama and Rin-sama. ” they not even bother to greet me, what a great hospitality. Some of them even obviously sneered at me. well, i was against their plead for help to the end, of course they will wary of me. By the way this room also really big, I wonder if that house back home will fit in here? I guess no. owh, Also there Toa-chan.

“Let’s begin the ceremony. First Kouji-dono please step up.” Toa-chan called for Kouji. By the way Toa-chan stand right to the crystal and Alicia is in the left.

Kouji close his distance to the crystal, when Toa signal to stop. Alicia and Toa chant some aria.

When the two finish the aria the scroll shine 6 different color red, blue, green, brown, white and black all the color gather around the young man named Kouji. The crystal the supposed to be clear just now became ball of light. Kouji took a step back as he sees the light circle around him.

“Don’t worry Kouji-dono its not something to be scared. They are called spirit these light that gather around you, show how many spirits that attracted to you. Each color represent the element that spirit possessed.” Toa Explains to us. Look like red are fire, blue are water, brown are earth, green are wind, white are light and black are darkness. Kouji believe in Toa’s word and let the lights circles around him. After a while the light spread and began to disappear.

“but as expected from hero you have affinity to all elements and this amount of magic power, affinity with spirit differ from person to person. Because each affinity may clash with other.”

“Affinity also represent blessing from said great spirit. Usually having 2 or more blessing already miracle. But you have all of them, There no room for doubt you are the hero.”

All of the audiences clapping and congratulates Kouji. What a show, some noble bring pretty oneechan when Kouji move away from the pedestal. They are probably offering their daughter to hero, huh? Isn’t too early? Another world is scary.

“What wrong Mia-sama” Toa asks Mia with worry tones.

“Don’t Worry Mia, it’s okay. Nothing happen to me after all.” Kouji Assured Mia from her side. Mia still worried. But Mia still not sure, She is look at my direction. Off course I notice it. I nodded at her and Mia finally stand in front of the crystal. An Aria was chanted by ojouchan and Toa-chan.

Like Kouji’s earlier there’s many lights gather around Mia. there no many variant like Kouji, but the light its produce is brighter than Kouji’s. By the way its Blue, Red, White and Green. The white light shone the brightest. Blind us all for some time. It’s took a while the light disappears. Many fell on their knees and many cover their eyes. Mia surprise but she still standing. As for me, I still stand like there nothing happen to me. Rin lean on me with eyes closed and I hold her back so she will not fall. She began to open her eyes slowly and separate from me. Even though I don’t really mind to continue hold her. Kouji? He currently sleeping with dirts.

“for such thing, I can not believe this, the spirit of light gather this much to one person, to think Great Spirit of Light gave this great blessing to 1 person..” Toa pour her surprise to her word. The people around are share the same feeling. Look like Mia just strike big hit.

“Look like those result as not great as Kouji or Mia huh?” Rin commented on spirit gather around her as she dropped her shoulder.

Not only that, you have blessed by 4 great spirit. Its could be said Rin-sama are our goal and ideal now.” Toa express herself to Rin. Rin was blushed and thanks Toa for her comfort. As the light dimmed. Rin left the pedestal. She looked at me as though giving me telepathic messages through my brain. What, I love you? i answer her off course.

“Me too.” Mia and Kouji looked at me confused.
“What are you saying? just go to pedestal now!” I was wrong, and then Rin pushed my back and I now stand in front of Crystal.

Nothing happened, even after few moment aria was chanted. Nothing happened, nothing at all. Toa-chan and ojouchan chanted aria few times, but as expected nothing happened. I looked around and hear some soldier and noble sneered at me and ridiculed me.

“he deserved it”
“as expected spirits are hate him.”
“What a joke!”
“this is goddess’s divine punishments!”
“what a trash ohoho!!”

They just throw insult to me with low voice, but I can hear them alright. By the way it’s the first time I heard someone said ohoho in real life, they really said it here huh. The king looks at me. And then..

“Flameth and Alicia, you can stop now. This is now conclude the ceremony. Flameth please close it.” The king order Toa-chan and ojouchan.

“Yes my lord” x2 answered Toa-chan and ojouchan. I am step back to my place before, beside Rin and Mia. I sandwiched between two bishoujo, how happy I am. Since all six gathered around Kouji all kind of great spirit liked him, since Mia and Rin gathered four kind. And Mia loved by light great spirit in level even this world can’t compete. And since nothing happen to me during ceremony. That’s mean..

“I am hated by spirit of this world too, huh?” in sense I am the same as Mia, but on opposite meaning. All of us exit this ceremony place and enter new room. This room or rather hall? There some kind of meeting including us, like they need to throw welcoming party to Us, about how to announce it to the world. What to do for the subjugation party and so on. In other word its boring meeting.

Then the night came. Kouji was sound sleep on his bed, I don’t feel sleepy yet so I decided to explore the castle. I exited the room, I aimlessly walk inside castle hallway

gosh this palace really huge, I just want to explore this damn castle. the next thing I knew I already lost. What should I do, which way do I took before? This way? Or that way. As I pondered what to do, I see someone familiar. She have blonde hair, pair of blue eye, really beautiful by my world standard, who she is? Yes the 2nd princess. Where she is heading? Maybe I can ask her a way to return to my room. I followed princess and I find her to enter the garden, it really huge garden I can see many colored flower. red blue green pink cyan you named it. There’s gazebo in the middle of it and some cement-like road around it, not flower this garden also have many three I guess some of the produce fruit as I can see apple-like fruit in some of that three.

“I guess this is royal garden huh, this is quite amazing.” I think Mia would like to be here, she is into gardening. As for Rin I think she can appreciate the view at least. As for Kouji I think he will pick those apple-like fruit first.

And there’s something odd here, why do you ask? As my eyes can see there’s no princess in my view.
