Chapter 2:
Villain To Villain: I Was Sent To Kill Heroes, But You're Next.
(With Kamino awakening from his deep sleep, he’d then open his eyes and look around the room before staring in disbelief that the room looks exactly the same as he left no choice but to say it.)
Kamino: “ Damn it. ..Magic is actually f**king real.”
(With a knock on the door gaining Kamino’s attention, a voice was then heard on the other side of the door.)
Glynrine: “Excuse me, Mr. Tsutomu? It’s Glyrine, one of the maids of the palace? I was told to check if you were sleeping around this time, is it safe to come in?”
Kamino: “The hell..? Yeah, come in.”
(With Glynrine then coming inside the room with a tray of freshly made food she prepared herself for Kamino, she would then assist to cleaning the room to the way she has it set before Kamino’s arrival as Kamino was interested in how effective she cleans, not leaving a spot while he was then sat down at his table by the window and given the tray of breakfast, revealing a three course breakfast which surprised Kamino entirely.)
Kamino: “Whoa.. Is this all for me?”
Glynrine: “Of course, I make sure all guests of this palace are treated with the right hospitality deserved.”
Kamino: “You flatter me, miss. But I’m a serial killer, isn’t that supposed to scare you?”
Glynrine: “I was actually told of your past by her majesty before being ordered to take care of you, I am aware that you are a serial killer and yes, you do frighten me. But I refuse to let your actions dictate how I will treat you. Her majesty sees use for you so I have no right to turn you down, Mister Tsutomu.”
(Kamino would then rise from his seat and unexpectedly grab the hand of Glyrine, flustering her momentarily as she was confused on what he was doing.)
Glynrine: “M-Mister Tsutomu?!”
Kamino: “You are the sweetest woman to have ever said such things to me. For your sake, I’ll try not to be an asshole.”
(Kamino would kiss her hand gently as Glyrine’s face would glow red as if she was a tomato before shutting down in a flustered state, rolling all on the clean floor after being kissed on the hand. Minutes later, Kamino would finish his breakfast as the now calm Glyrine would collect his dirty dishes and place them back on the tray.)
Kamino: “Um, Miss Glyrine. Just one question, what even is a “Nonchanter?”
(Glyrine would then suddenly jolt at the word Kamino had just said then turn to answer him out of worry but was shocked at how boldly he said it.)
Glyrine: “W-Who told you such a hurtful word?!”
Kamino: “Huh?”
Glyrine: “...A Non-.. that word.. is actually offensive. It's what disrespectful people call those who are summoned or brought to this world and have no belief in magic or hold no potential to learn or carry magic at all. It is a very derogatory word!”
Kamino: “It’s that offensive? I’m sorry but- I was one my entire life… Up until I woke up today. That’s when I was left with no choice but to admit magic existed.”
Glyrine: “Magic has always existed… I just wish I could even learn the smallest healing magic spell so I can be happy with that one thing I’ve always wished to experience.”
(Kamino would then walk up to the mirror as Glyrine was about to walk out the door before Kamino called out her name.)
Kamino: “Glyrine. Follow my advice, “Never say never.” Just hold onto that advice and wait until the time comes. It’s a saying we always have back on Earth and it always leads to unexpected rewards.”
Glyrine: “O-Oh.. Okay! I will remember your advice! And before I forget, her majesty would like to see you back in her throne room whenever you are ready.”
Kamino: “Alright, I’ll be ready in a moment.”
(Kamino would put back on his trench coat while staring at his two daggers, carrying them with him once again and makes his way toward the throne room, awaiting him was Adiri with a magic ritual to pair Kamino with his weapon in this world.)
Kamino: “...So, what’s all this?”
Adiri: “Kamino Tsutomu. If you’re going to survive in this world and kill the Heroes alongside us, you need your weapon for combat. Your Earthly daggers are powerful but against the Heroes, you won’t be able to even cut through their flesh with those. So you need this world’s power in order to get the job done. This is a ritual which will help you find your magical weapon.”
Kamino: “Seems understandable enough. How do we get this started?”
(Adiri would then clench her left hand into a fist, summoning two pillars for both of Kamino’s hands to be placed.)
Adiri: “First, you will stand in the center of the circle and place your hand on each pillar.”
(Kamino then does so as his hands were locked onto each pillar by gravity magic so the process could not be interrupted.)
Kamino: “Whoa, snug fit.”
Adiri: “Now, I will allow you to choose from the thousands of chooseable weapons. All you have to do is choose which ones speak to you.”
Kamino: “That easy huh? Alright, let’s get pickin’.”
(Adiri would then lift both hands as a magic circle was surrounded around Kamino and opening above him while entering a spiral was thousands upon thousands of weapons to choose from, combining weapons from mythological eras to the modern era of magic and fantasy. Kamino would then look across each and every weapon as much as he could, noticing several were of his kind of weapons… Until his eyes were focused on a set of dual handguns and two daggers, also known as the “Assassin’s Kit”.)
Kamino: “That set right there.”
(Those in attendance would be surprised on Kamino’s choice as Adiri would focus her telekinetic magic on both the handguns and the daggers, sending them down to Kamino and thus, binds both Kamino and the set into a contract, allowing Kamino access to magical abilities at last.)
Adiri: “It is done, you now have magical weapons. All that’s left is to find out if you’re eligible to handle magical power.”
Kamino: I see… What do I have to do for that?”
Adiri: “Simple. Me and you will fight.”
(With silence filling the room, Kamino would then be set free from the pillars and stash his handguns and daggers before clearing his throat to speak.)
Kamino: “...So me and you are gonna fight?”
Adiri: “That’s right.”
Kamino: “And it’s to the death?”
Adiri: “Of course not! Heroes are far more talented in magic spells, far more than you could ever believe. If a Nonchanter like you would have any chance against the Heroes, you will fight me so I can test for myself if you’re eligible to handle even stronger magic from yours truly!”
(Kamino would then sigh at the fact he was called the same derogatory word once again.)
Kamino: “You know, you might wanna watch your words around others. I may be working with you, but calling me such a word would hurt other people.”
Adiri: “Or what? I’ll stop calling you a Nonchanter, if you can defeat me.”
???: “Your Majesty! Allow me to step in for you.”
(One of the followers approaching the center of the throne room was Mita, Adiri’s right hand villainess and one of her most loyal friends.)
Mita: “I cannot standby and let this Nonchanter talk down on you!”
Kamino: “Again with that word?! You people are f**king crazy!”
Adiri: “I’ll allow it. This will serve as your test, defeat Mita if you can and I must warn you, she doesn’t go down easily.”
(With Mita releasing an ominous longsword from her back sheath, Kamino would then rely on one of his magical daggers and the second being his custom made dagger, the two would circle the battlefield until Adiri gives the signal.)
Adiri: “BEGIN!”
